I was considering posting this in the topic about GvH crossing over with 8-bit Deathmatch, but since that's about using the GvH WAD in 8-Bit Deathmach, I decided to make a new topic.  Basically, I decided to contribute to this cult (even though I've never played GvH.) by importing the Jitterskull into 8-bit Deathmach.  I've even taken the liberty of making him 8-bit using HyperShadowClone's original sprite and changing the colors a bit to allow Robot Master Weapons.

Unfortunately, I've run into a few problems as well.
[*]Whenever Jitterskull gets hit, his sprite reverts to Megaman's pain sprite. -FIXED
[*]There's no sound for when Jitterskull gets hit or for when he dies. -FIXED
[*]His bite is overpowered sometimes killing Robot Masters in one hit. -FIXED
[*]I'm unsure about this one, but Jitterskull moves jittery.  As the name suggests, I assume he's supposed to move like that, but I've never played Ghouls vs Humans. -No need to change.

Nice! You should make the teeth 8-bit. Is he a skin? If so, change the (name)HX sprites to be jitterskull. That'll fix the problem. And his bite is meant to be powerful!

4. Exactly how he moved in GvH. short teleports forward and scales any height.

But yeah, needs more 8 bit teeth.

Thanks.  That's how he moves.  And alright. I'll leave that in then.  Also, I have the sounds imported from GvH, but his death is completely silenced still.

And Yellow Devil, he's not a skin per-say (Which is why I didn't post it in my skins topic).  Putting Jitterskull in the skins folder won't add him into the game like other skins.  You have to use the add file feature.

Yeah.  He does.  I guess technically, you could consider him a skin, but at the same time, he's kinda not.  Trying to go onto a server with Jitterskull will result in the server saying you need the same WADs.

Well go into your sprites folder, replace all sprites beginning with a H (H8H2, H7H3, H6H4, H5 and H1) with jitterskull hurt frames and that will solve your problem

I'll give that a shot.  Thanks for the suggestion.

EDIT: Adding H Frames to Jitterskull didn't change a thing.  His hurt sprites still show up as Megaman.

Pardon the double post, but I noticed another problem.  When Jitterskull uses a Robot Master weapon, the Weapon Change sound constantly plays and he reverts back to the buster colors.

I guess you just copy pasted GvH's ACS? Maybe that's the problem. Personally I have no experience with ACS, just on DECORATE, but I can bet GvH's code is meddling with Megaman's or something. I would check myself but I can't compile/decompile ACS in this PC.

Well I did make a few changes to the files to try to make them compatible, but I don't think I made the right ones.  And if I did, maybe not enough.

As for now, I'll release a little beta to the project.
While Jitterskull (http://www.4shared.com/file/sOAV95oz/Jitterskull.html) may still be incomplete, he'll be finished eventually with some help.

My project's been updated beyond my original expectations.  I've recently fixed that problem with the weapons and gave him 8-bit teeth.

Just add them like a regular file, like roboenza, or a custom map. Then you can go to options to the player, Player Set up. and change the class to sjas or jitterskull.

Ever thought you pósted the download link wrong? After you upload it, check for "Share this file" or something of the like. There you'll find the link you MUST use.

The link I posted is actually how 4shared downloads should be shared.
Jitterskull.PK3 resulted in a bad upload, hence why it can't be found with the search?

Well if Yurei would eventually become a playable class, I would stick to her Ghoul's Forest 3 origin, instead of Ghouls vs Humans...

She would shift between visible and invisible in constant intervals but one touch from her would lead to the pics of doom! But otherwise, she got low health like in GF3...

Basically, in Ghouls Forest 3, when the Yurei kills you, you get to see a bunch of horrible images flash on screen that gave some people nightmares.

That looks like that image that pops up on one of those screamers.  I remember seeing it.

At any rate, I've updated the project further.
[*]Choke now slows down to use his blood ball.
[*]Health Capsules and E-Tanks are now compatable with the secret class. (I think you all know it by now.)
[*]Jitterskull now has an 8-bit moving sound.
[*]Jitterskull now has a new palate. (Do not use Ivory's map pack with it.)

By the way, Rukifellth, I like your idea for making a playable Yurei.  I thought about adding her as a skin of Megaman that came with the pk3, but I like your idea better.  You've made great sprites as well.  :)

I think the most difficult part of making her was to make her creepy and yet retain the Megaman drawing style.

Compared to the other ghouls, she is the one who looks the most human of them all.

Also I "slightly" tried to make her less Ringu Samara lookalike with more kimono style arms. But it's more visible on the doodle I made. :P

BTW, Fun Fact, Samara and Yurei both died when they were only children. But as ghosts, they both look like they're around the late teenage. What's up with that? :S

Well, if you want specifications, then how about this?

I Pack must not be added, nor custom weapons, and Roboenza isn't recommended.  You could play Roboenza with it, but it's not advisable.

Other than that, you can do what you want with it.

After months of work, I've finally completed it.  Presenting: Ghouls Pack Version 5!

Recently, Korby and I have been discussing including the human classes, but for now, I'll fill you in on the updates. In this version, many fixes and patches have been made (especially to Creeper) but there's also been a few other changes as well. Last time, I didn't get to fix all I wanted too, but now I have all the errors I wanted fixed (but I'm still having skin issues with Creeper...)

*Creeper and Yurei now have pop-up images
*Frostbite is now weak to fire weapons
*Sjas has been nerfed
*Choke and Frostbite can now have skins
*Ice weapons no longer harm Frostbite
*Yurei as a new alt fire (Thanks to Cold Fusion)
*Ghouls are now limited to only certain Robot Master weapons or none


For the time being, this shall be the final version until I start work on the human classes. Only time will tell when I finally finish everything I want to do with this expansion.  On the subject of Ghouls, I still need some help with Creeper being skinnable due to his hurt sprite being larger than the others. Lastly, I'd like you all to have fun with this pack.  Sorry about bumping this topic with a long paragraph and a double post.  :cry:

*Ghouls are now limited to only certain Robot Master weapons or none

Thanks to Yellow Devil for fixing a problem I had in the prerelease version of this.  You helped make this possible.

Just out of curiosity, what weapons can the ghouls that can use rm weapons use? I know frost bite can use ice weapons. Hell, I expected the "secret" *coughcacodemoncough* class to be able to use spark shock, because the class's shots are lightning balls. Well, then again, it would be somewhat OP. Stun. close in on them while shooting shocks. Proceed to eat them. Also I lol'd at the creeper's pop-up image. Wasn't expecting it, but still hilarious.
