I just got a situation a moment ago where 3 players (the clown, xorpeado and mistress) and i was doing really good and then they suddenly start yelling "OMG POSSESED IS A F**KIN HAXXOR BAN HIM!!!!" to me when i was obviously not.

Its understandable if its something obvious like a sjas surviving a point blank shot in the face by a shotgun/ice arrows or a sjas surviving a great shower of hits from a cyborg balls

But just because the person is doing really well doesnt mean they are a cheater

For people who yell haxor at inapropriate times just think about these reasons
1. The player might be using a currently overpowered class
2. Make sure before you yell haxxor that there is obvious proof that the player is hacking (dont just think i know he is hacking cus hes getting loads of frag)
3. You might suck/be having a bad day
4.  ...cant think of a 4th thing

It's funny when someone calls you out when you're aliased, then you hand them badly elsewhere and reveal yourself, then they start to feel like shit.

Well, as far as I can say, there will always be people out there who yell pointless crap like that. People who have over-sized egos and cannot tolerate dying. I could go on, but point is, crap like that will always exist in different forms. Just ignore them and go on with the game.

I got the same thing yesterday, I think from the same person, I cannot remember.
But he kept calling me haxor, even though I wan't in my gaming mood and I couldn't play well.
Really, mostly I was having a convo with max-ride about the gvh models.
Anyway, about the models, the new pack seems to make the creeper almost invisible in the dark, and abit visible in the light, so how is that hacking?

There is no dark, at least not here. Model creepers are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay easier to spot. It's like adding a red arrow hovering above the current creeper.

(Or a pink creeper.)

anyway, another way of seeing is either a wallhack, or making dynamic lights really huge so 1 light can cover the whole map.

Cutman, I suggest using ACS to force the gl lights to be at default values.

Your lights are extremely dark, i couldn't even see a jitterskull on that.
and no acs to force lighting please it's annoying to reset my gl settings again and again when i play something else.

Indeed. I have no idea what's going on in screenshot 2 though.

If I was lord of skulltag I would have a server flag which forces all user sprites/models/definitions to be turned off. I.e any WAD attached that isn't loaded by the server is ignored.

I did not say that you hacked it, i just asked how the hell can you survive when i shoot you with 3 ice arrows (you were hit by all 6 shards) and you just keep moving. Oh BTW when did we try to ban you or even spoke of it?

Hmm... Damage tends to be randomized in some cases, in the old days i've seen creepers survive direct lightning arrow impacts!

That second screenshot is odd, in particular the whole model stuff, just makes them even MORE visible, and more ugly, too. :P

I would agree with having a setting in the server for, perhaps disabling models and either specific GL settings or... err, normal ones.
I dont think messing with the gamma is gonna help alot compared to what OpenGL is capable of.

There's this guy D'Sparil who really IS a "HAXOR" (I am not the only accused him of cheating.) Guy ruined the f**king game by only slightly hacking. I think he's using cheat skins for Creeper, a speed hack and a range hack for Sjas. What he's doing is really a hack, I mean, I saw how he moves. He's a n00b, for sure.

A few examples : I was playing as a Creeper against him on Castle Ghoulenstein. He was able to spot me (I wasn't even moving) from like 200 meters away. Next round, I decided to test was this just luck. I hid under a cloud in the one of the long red passages that leaded to outdoor parts, and I didn't move. He saw me from a pretty damn large distance and fired at me with a lightning arrow (he missed me hardcore, but the point is he saw me while I wasn't moving, under a cloud and was a Creeper). Next time, I tried to test it again. I hid behind a small wall and didn't move, he was like 200 meters and fired at me (despite the fact no-one would be able to see me under normal circumstances). The conclusion: he is using cheat skins (I saw that somewhere for download (that's how I got the idea what is he using)).

Sjas speed and range hack : No need for a lot of explaining. Many people accused him of speed hacking and that the range of his "scream" was to big (he was able to damage and kill people from a bigger range than a usual Sjas). Once, in an open area, he was able to "outrun" me despite the fact I was a Hunter (there was no obstacles and I was running in a straight line). I saw how he moves, that's not skill for sure.

Also, regarding the "range hack", you can get a wider range if you do this thing that ye-olde-timer ZDaemon/doom2.exe DMer's did called the SSG Swingshot. I do this a lot and it gives you a more precise range for Sjas, so it's not really a hack, just the wonders of Doom's engine

ARRRG I can always identify when people do that but I don't usually call them out because they stumble around into walls like a dumbass usually. Makes me :( when used on long stretches of land but thank funk it's fixed(/broken?) in 98a. If it gets UNfixed again.

Seems I failed to fix it. I reverted it in b4 because it's fixed in 97e but people don't play that so they're sticking with b3 and 95d.

That is impossible with binds. Doing this (with mouse drivers or other external programs) is cheating and bannable.

I think he's saying that chokes (for example) can go very fast with SR50 bunnyhop, so it would be bad to kick them too. The same probably goes for a flying cyborg. But since sjas aren't supposed to be able to go faster than SR50 but are the only class able to abuse air control, limiting the autokicking to sjas-class should be fine. (And I'm sure there will be a real fix. :P )

Like I said I have no problem with classes jumping around like retards to gain momentum (although originally if it were up to me, Skulltag would use the NORMAL aircontrol), but Sjas' "land" exploit is a bit too much as you can charge across maps like GVH08 in the blink of an eye.

Don't forget the silent glide. Limiting sjas' speed won't fix that. (Although I haven't yet seen anyone use it effectively.)

Oh yeah speaking of haxors, some one was saying I used an aimbot because I predicted a Sjas was going to come from a tunnel in post-war technologies after hearing him for about a minute. I also sniped him with a lightning arrow previously. "NO ONE IS THAT GOOD. AIMBOT."

I think people really need to come to the realisation that yes, people CAN be better at GVH (and Doom) than you sometimes.

Umm...
Where ever I look I cannot find an aimbot, but I have found one, but it only works for 97c
and the only other way of making one was decorate, but you cannot use it when joining a server anyway, since the wad file thingy added into 97d.
But there is definently a working wallhack, I saw it on a video site like youtube, but the vid was deleted a few days later.
I am still searching for these hacks, only to give to the dev team so they can somehow stop these from working. Or am I??? :P

Definitely.
Unless you clone a playerclass then add the requires stuff to make it an aimbot, then make it an unlisted playerclass with / and " in the classname and actor name.

I also tried doing the aimbot with dehacked, but the game kept crashing offline and online it doesn't work at all. But the authentication system wont allow it anyway now.
