Title: Downtime December 1st

Apologies for the downtime yesterday. I was dicking around with my VPS server stuff and it exploded the entire thing.

For future reference, if the site goes down go to my twitter and you'll get the update straight from there, save writing me an email ;)

I was pretty wierded out. Also, facebook plz? That'd be great because I have a strong hatred of Twitter.

I also have facebook and i dont have twitter... not that i hate it.
I just think 1 social network is enough.

You don't have to follow me. Just if the forum goes down again, don't think "QUICK SEND CUTMANMIKE EMAILS". Think "oh okay twitter dot com slash cutmanmike..." and there you go

In everybody's defense, the downtime page DID say e-mail the administrator.  Not that I did...

Also, I also only have Facebook, but I don't think he needs to join every social network out there just to tell us the site is down.

Maybe he could make an announcement on the frontpage? Blog, I mean?

Just delete it afterwards, if possible.

I wasn't complaining, it's just to save people typing up an email to let me know  :cool:

Btw when that happened I couldn't edit, add or do anything with my server even through the admin backdoor. I had to raise a support ticket with my host.

I don't even have Twitter or Facebook so... however you can just keep checking Mike's twitter manually. You don't need to sign up and I believe you can subscribe via RSS feed.

Ive never even been on the twitter site so i thought you had to sign up for checking people's info.
