Title: In need of a good recording program
Post by: Atticus on December 05, 2010, 04:50:32 AM
I am need of a good screen recording program for my computer. I need something that will record all the noise on the screen, not any outside disturbances, and will have good video quality. Just a random example, something that records like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hil1F2T19GY (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hil1F2T19GY)

If anyone could help, I'd be eternally grateful :)

Techsmith's Camtasia Studio is always good.

This was already asked. (http://cutstuff.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1240) A bit of search function-ing doesn't hurts. Also, I'd say Fraps.

HyperCam is now free. Use it.

HyperCam sucks balls.

I normally wouldn't post like that, but that shitwad deserved it.

Use the latest CamStudio beta (About 2.60), it's awesome. (Free too)
And try to find/use a decent codec, like MPEG-4, H.264 or something. Don't forget to tune it for your personal use though.
Free-codecs might be a good site to look for codecs(?) .. I never visited it though.
