Anyways, yeah. This is going to be a pretty interesting challenge. Found this sheet in DA, but it was "infected" with JPG artifact, so I tried to fix it myself. And that is the result. Recreating "human" characters is easy... but what of animals? specially one that is detailed?

You sure this is supposed to be a "challenge" and not just a clever rewording of a "request"? :3
It doesn't look like it'd be that hard. Already Mega Man-ified, with clear starting points for hurt and attack states, and I've already seen many skins with more or as much detail. I'd say it wouldn't be too hard for a lot of the skinners here...
I'd take it myself, but I'm already making several skins and I'm not sure if I'd yet do it justice as well as some other people here. If no one else takes it for awhile, I might try regardless.

I do not like the sound of this. First off you said you found this sheet on Deviant Art. You never said anything about permissions or that the sheet was free for people to use. I'm getting the impression that you stole it and want to make it to a skin.

thats about all i really want to edit for the game.
