If you believe you've earned a medal for something but haven't received one yet, post here. It's getting taxing trying to keep on top of topics lately you see, so don't be offended if you've earned one but haven't got it yet!
NOTES: Proto Man badges are only given out when THE EXPANSION IS RELEASED WITH THE CONTRIBUTION YOU MADE, not as soon as I say "that's cool it's going in.
You can also nominate for others if you like

Does my silly little Quick Man Mode (http://cutstuff.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1048) mod count for the MM8BDM follower medal?
Completed a MM8BDM map pack, weapon pack or game mode.
Or does it need to be something larger.

Squidgy should probably have the Brightman medal, because he was the first post to mention a Roboenza mode.
Also, I think Mega Man should probably receive the follower medal when he finishes his Ghouls.

? GVH42 - Moonlight Glade - Ivory - Already in - This map needs some minor tweaks, but it's already in the SVN.
Since my map did get into the official game, does that still earn me a GvH Engineer?

Also, I was wondering if the Halloween pack and/or the addition of Helmetless Megaman/Breakman give me a medal. I honestly don't care that much, but if they do, I'd like it, obviously. MEDALS ARE DA BOMB!!!1!!eleven!1

Well. GvHV3 is out. My map is most certainly in. I see no reason why I don't have a GvH Engineer Medal.

Nope.
You gave one to Squidgy for organising I think, but Korby contributed Skuller and didn't get Proto until now so I don't think you did the rest.
Yay medals.
EDIT: Just looked this up. If you're making it official, Brotoad and Red_Lantern deserve medals.

So I was looking at the Medal descriptions the other day. 8-bit Celebrity says that you posted a public youtube video of MM8BDM.
I have uploaded videos of MM8BDM on my youtube channel, so does that mean I should have this medal?

I think I need to tidy up the descriptions for the badges. The bass medal I intend to award for big group projects that I had no involvement for. I.e MM5 GB expansion, class based expansion etc. It's gotta be big!

Have you posted the video here (in the gameplay videos topic)? If so, then yes.
HOWEVER after that I'm closing off the plantman badge for now as it's too easy to obtain. It was only there originally to entice members to upload videos and spread the word of MM8BDM.

I assume you mean came up with the idea? I was planning Roboenza during development, inspired by Skulltag's Zombie Horde mod.

And yes, I agree it is way too easy to obtain. I did want all my youtube subscribers to learn about this game, though.

That's the thing. Mike is taking down the Plant Man one, and Korby doesn't have that.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I was typing this from my Wii, and its a pain, so I guess I shortened it. Well, thats cool, I just wanted to make sure that you heard my question. Thanks for the answer.

Aha! I knew inspiration came from Zombie Horde!
Anyway, I just assumed Squidgy would get the medal because he was the first to post about it. Had no idea you were planning it while the game was in development!

I didn't want to say anything until it was created, but then people started getting the same idea so I kept my trap shut because I didn't want to sound like an unbelievable jerk "HEYYY I CAME UP WITH THIS FIRST"

I deserve 1 Medal, for making my own Stage, and at least one for Helping People. (i remember there was a Medal for helping others, wasnt there...?)

Unless said stage got into the official game(like I did), it will take a lot more then a single stage to earn a medal. You have to do something large to earn it, Like my Ivory-Pack was for a Bass Medal..
As for helping people, you have to be infamous for helping people. Helping a few people isn't enough. You have to really be at it for a while and well known for doing so.

Yeah I've been trying to help alot of people
but ivory keeps beating me to the punch T-T I reeeeally want that knightmman medal, and I nominate ivory for bug cruncher when the next update for mm8bdm is released

That isn't how Bug Cruncher works sadly. You have to post a crash report from skulltag that gets fixed.
Considering I've posted the most bug reports of anyone (about 6 or 7 by now) and I haven't earned a bug cruncher for it. I don't think Bug Cruncher will work that way.

In theory, would I get a medal if I were to make a pack that contained some new maps and all of my old maps? I mean, regardless of when I made the maps, they should still count for something.
(of course, I'd include them regardless of the answer, but I'd like to know)

You know what, I'm starting to think this whole medal idea was more trouble then it's worth. I get more PM's about medals than I do actual MM8BDM content so for now I'm locking this until I decide whether to take the whole system down, hire some medal moderators or just simply take down the medals that are a SLIGHTLY ambiguous.

Honestly, I think all the medals should be disabled. While they are cool, people just take it too far. But this should be good.

Medals were designed to show people who contributed to Cutstuff things, or so I believe. That's what they should stay.
