Title: Model A Skins
Post by: Ultima on December 08, 2010, 11:41:41 PM
I'm a big fan of MegaMan ZX Advent! In it, there is an 8-bit minigame called MegaMan Antique. I'm trying to make a skin of the 8-bit renditions of Grey and Ashe (Probably Albert too...).

Albert

Grey

Ashe

Current Problems...
1. I don't know how to use the recommended picture editing softwares (Gimp, Paint.net ect.) and can't afford Photoshop
2. I have no forward facing sprites for Grey and Ashe

Any help would be appreciated!

First of all, Grey and Ashe have already been made.  I don't think Albert has.

Second of all, you have to use a paint program that has transparency, so you have to learn something other than MS Paint.  Just fool around some more with Paint.NET, it's not difficult at all.  I can't help you, really, I think Paint.NET is pretty self-explanatory.

Good luck on making him.

I can do Albert, but I'll have to make some back and diagonal sprites for him. Is there a sprite making program?

Any program that supports transparency (aka not Microsoft Paint)

I'm giving up for now. I just can't get anything to work in Paint.Net atm...

Do the sprites in MSPaint, then put them in Paint.net, okay?
