Title: I Can't upload my avatar.Help?

I Tried uploading an Avatar,but it says "Image File Type mismatch:expected extension bmp but extension jpg given"Even though I don't think it's a jpg.Could someone please help?

You typed "name.jpg" and it was actually a .bmp

or the other way around

I was confused too, i was like, "Wait, so I type in http://www.photobucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com) and it knows what picture i'm using?"
No. just right click on your picture, click "Copy Image URL", and paste it on.
I have a PC with Windows Vista(virus) and i'm not sure if there is a "Copy Image URL" on Macs or Linuxes.

EDIT: If you have already done this, then you have to decrease the size and screw around between your paint program and the avatar upload page.
