All I need is a "commented" script of the following weapons:
Spark Shock
Hard Fist
Shadow Blade
Trollnado Wind Storm
Why that? You'll see if I get them... >:D
Just one hint:
YOU ARE ALREADY DEAD!

First of all, it's Hard Knuckle.
Second of all, scripts are fairly complex, so "real quick" help isn't going to come easy.
Third of all, you could do what I did with the snowball: Make a duplicate of the weapon you want to modify, and then just start playing around with stuff.

Maybe... But I fail to understand.

Learn2Decorate.
It's not hard and you're always asking for help with the excuse "I suck", making it come off as another somewhat annoying request. It's fairly simple and doesn't takes more than a week or 2 to learn the basics. Do what X said, just play around with official code and see how it works.

Thing is: I don't have much patience to edit, open Skulltag, wait for it to load, see the weapon didn't work as expected, close Skulltag, rinse and repeat. IF there was a way to edit without closing Skulltag...
(Yes, like when we go into Memory Viewer or Cheat Code Support of emulators to test things without having to oepn the ROM all the time.)
-
You shouldn't be trying to code weapons then, it takes patience to write DECORATE and to test it out on Skulltag.
Why did you open this thread if you don't plan on doing anything anyways?

I WAS planning to do anything. But I need SOME instruction.

I've got news for you: even once you know what you're doing, you're still going to have to continuously open the game and see if it works. If you don't have the patience to do that, then there's no way your weapons will turn out decent.

Yeah, but UNDERSTANDING the script gives much more help than having to do the constant trial&error to figure what does what.
Or do you make games without knowing what does what? If it were like that, then there would be no Game Maker tutorials. Or not even any game development tutorials to begin.

Actually, you'd need to be a retard to not being able to read AND understand DECORATE. Coding has never been easier. You're given every command you need for anything you want to do, like a weapon that shoots hard knuckles with a spark effect, bounce infinitely on walls and throw you aside on contact.
You just need a copy of SLADE or SlumpEd, this (http://zdoom.org/wiki/DECORATE), this (http://zdoom.org/wiki/SNDINFO) and this (http://zdoom.org/wiki/KEYCONF) for reference. It's like a dictionary, use it to understand the gibberish of the official coding, if it's so hard to understand.

It's not THAT simple. Of course, it's easier than most programming language, but it still doesn't offer the possibility to "debug while testing", or does it?
*sigh* Nevermind, guess I'll give up on this until CMM does as he promised... Even though I get this feeling it'll take forever.

Agreed, it's not THAT easy. Plus, the ZDoom wiki has failed me more often than it has helped me because while it offers plenty of examples, it fails to explain the components that make up those examples.

Also, I was reminded of this: http://www.skulltag.com/forum/viewtopic ... 13&t=27014 (http://www.skulltag.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=27014)
