Title: Nezumiman Expansion (Are we dead?)

I have begun work on a Nezumiman skin, it has not complete yet, but is in development
I came up with an idea to start on an expansion to make an expansion for this great homage to megaman.

Yes! for a while I thought this project would not even get off the ground... Thank you, I can provide textures and sprites to those who need them, just ask, I am already working on the Ice textures...the weapons are...coming, yeah, there will be slow work going on this, if there are specific stages you want to do, just ask!

i could give a shot at mapping dragon nezumi, just need textures.

I can do Dr. Gyoniku Stages 1-5..

But a question. Will these maps be Deathmatch-style (Like, say, cutman), or actual game style (Start at one end, go to the end and be in a boss room, more ample for fighting, with some gimmicks)?

@ Ashley, deathmatch, this is going to be an expansion for MM8BDM, regardless of being 8 bit or not, and I would like to have a maximum of 2 Dr. Gyoniku stages, I have gotten 5/8 nezumi stages' textures done, they are all on multiple sheets organized by character. Thanks again, btw, I am going to be posting the sprite and texture zips on file front by the end of the week.

I suppose only the first three Gyoniku stages would matter, since the last two are small and silly.

Ok, I got the textures up 2 DG stage 2 done, but they are 48 by 48 on sheets, I am wondering whether to shrink them, but the res will drop as I am doing so, I am thinking of just keeping them the same size, but I will let you decide that one, it should turn out rather well anyway, thanks again for the help! :D

I demand someone make a perfect fashion skin / make the special stage.

I want to do Dragon Cluster, if someone can give me the sprites for it. I also have the full nezumiman soundtrack if you guys need that. The file's volume may need to be increased though.

Yes can do D.cluster if you wish, I must first finish the textures, which will be on filefront very soon, then I will get to the sprites, I hope you can make the rotations on your own, the process is kind of long and tedious for me.

And I would really like to know what the perfect fashion skin is...

The "Perfect Fashion" skin would be the one used in the special stage (unlocked for beating the game).

It's pretty much the full outfit you acquire for being all 8 nezumi's.

Ok... it will require some work, apparenly there will be a loud outfit on my alredy completed nezumiman skin, wont be too much trouble, I will get to work on it really soon! (btw, that WOULD be an awesome skin)

I'm not good AT ALL with rotations and such, but I'm sure I can figure something out. I may also do smoke and butter weapons depending if I can make / how well dragon cluster turns out.

I may also make some maps, but I am unsure.

Don't worry about rotations, I can take care of it, I had completed the texture collections of all stages now, however they are mainly samples from the stage, not tiles in themselves (with the exception of the gyoniku stages) the tile size for nezumiman is 48 by 48, not MM8BDM's 32 by 32, this may be a problem, but I am hoping it wont be. I could either A: post them on filefront now so y'all can start on the stages or B: fix them to where they are set as separate tiles and post the later. But for now, I will begin work on the D.Cluster's rotations

I can do weapon projectiles, but not the weapons themselves, too.

Any weapon is fine. (I never messed about with WCOLORS, and all that jazz, but I AM good at projectiles)

If you could, fix the tilesets to 32x32... Please. ^^"

Well...I will do what I can... I cannot promise it to be as good as most others, but I will get it done the best I can (the worst that can happen is a small graphical resolution decrease, nothing more)

That's no huge deal.

You can post the 32x32 or the 48x48 sizes and I can work with either. 32x32 is just the preferred "setting" for tile widths. There's no big deal if it's not.

I found a way that takes longer, but it produces tiles that look really good, and they are that correct size!
It'll be a little longer, I am also making floor textures!

I really should be working on my own Expansion if I'm to make any custom content, BUUUT...

I'd be willing to assist with skinning, but, like Brawlman, only if you could provide the original sprites.  The first Google result for "Nezumiman Sprites" is, well...this topic.  :P

I'm working on D Cluster now, however, I can't resize the x7x3 rotation (the 3rd one) without some crazy quality loss. So, if someone can resize that rotation so I can make the pick up icon, that'd be great.

ok, new picture will not be posted though, I will finish the skin, the I'll show screenshots of it in the game, I will correct it now for the perfect fashion, which I am working on now

EDIT: the tail is at the lowest point on the body, I cannot "level" the tails, but I can lower them by 1 pixel.

They all need more blue.  I recommend "separating" the ears or head from the rest of the body by coloring them solid blue.

Also, for Perfect Fashion--I think that's perfect fashion--, you could color the star and cape blue as well.

Galaxy, that was something you should have posted in the gaming thread, BTW, does anyone know of reasons the game would just freeze and become unresonsive while using custom weapons? It keeps happening. :/

As for the crashes, it's probably either a coding error, or you're putting the weapons in skins.

Well, It only happens when the weapon is out in the field, I think it may be a problem with the texture definitions, I will try copying it straight from the template and editing it.

EDIT: Coding error, corrected, Wep capsules don't work for, neither does the W-Tank, I think that has not been defined, its not in DECORATE lump, so I do not know what to do for that, It will be done if I do that.
This is no longer a problem, however the game still freezes when a player dies when he/she has the weapon

EDIT: for some reason, the gun moves when I walk (like in doom)

I'm currently working on the Butter Nezumi botchats, but I'm at a total loss. I'll do my best to get it done, but if someone else wants to contribute (or maybe even take over), I'll let them. I'm not good with this kind of thing.

Well, nice connection to Snakeman there, I think I can take care of Pashiri Gun. It will be based off of YD's Classes Search Snake, It is most like the original from MM3, So I can get it as accurate to Pashiri Gun as possible.

It sent items flying toward you, I can achieve this by creating a health item as a separate actor, and then using A_FireCustomMissile to fire this health toward you, or at least appear to. Only thing is, I need to know how destroy the original health as if it was picked up.
