So like, I was told to make an introduction thread.. so I thought I may as well.. I'm a friend of DoomThroughDoom... or DTD.. I mean, I call him Peter, but yeah.
I'm Brittany, I'm 17, and I'm from Essex, United Kingdom. I'm kind of weird. I like sundresses, lollipops, flowers, and killing n00bz. /epic multi-personality introduction.
I have a DDR machine in my house, and practically every weekend Peter comes round and rapes it. And then we rape it together, and then he lets me have a go, and then we get back to the gangrape.
He also introduced me to MM8BDM which I play with my boyfriend all the time for fun. I should actually start getting into it more, and I'm soon going to introduce it to my workgroup, who tend to play FPS games at lunch time with each other.
So.. if you're all interested, me and DTD are going to be looking at a project we'll do in our spare time, we're thinking of making an arcade cabinet to run MM8BDM, it'll be difficult, but I already know how to make standard 'PC' based arcade machines run anyway, and I suppose Peter'd be doing most of the design work if this went ahead.
If we go about it, then we'll keep you posted.
So yeah.. *scratches head* I dunno.. HAIIIIIII?!~~~~squiggle x

Thanks guys. I hope the project will go well, it's quite a simple one to be honest, the only real issue is finding a way to get a bleeding good wireless card running.

That is awesome, if I can help in any way let me know.
And welcome!

I was thinking of a custom new titlemap and title in skins folder.
"Megaman Deathmatch: ARCADE".
...But I already know how to do that :p .
Maybe you could create a unique launcher which opens Skulltag with megagame.wad and MM8BDM-Vx.pk3.
It would have a count down. Press enter if you want to add custom mods.
If you press enter, then you can add mods normally and it boots the game.
If you don't press enter then it will just boot up the game.
This is so that when it's the arcade, we'll have the launcher open on start-up but we don't want to make it impossible to add mods.
Oh and if you think what if we don't press enter in time. We can just alt+F4, the cheat to add mods I mean, so we can just open up the shortcut on the desktop instead.

I could probably make a launcher that opens up with a list of wads/pk3's in a folder, with a selection menu you can slap up/down on the joystick input to select them (or keys).

That would be awesome. I hope me and Brit could finish this before the end of this year.
