Hey this is just a Question:

I'm trying to see if it's possible to make the weapon fire like a normal weapon...then you can then press the button once more to make the projectile explode

also is there a way to hold the weapon so you can use it similar to Wheel Cutter

and is there a way to make the weapon's alt.fire use a shortened Timefreezesphere to only last 10 seconds and consume at least 1/6 ammo

Mind if someone dummy codes this?

Fractions like 1/6 and 1/8 don't really work for MM8BDM.  See, health and energy bars are divvied up into percents:  you get 100 HP units, and 100 Energy units.  You could program it to only have 8 or 6 uses available, but it won't be exact, of course.

Also, Drill Bomb works like the first thing, and Leaf Shield is kind of the second.  May want to take a look at their coding.

Yes, you can "hold" the weapon in place like Wheel Cutter using Inventory items and JumpIfInventory. Unfortunately, I don't really remember how, I need to check an old weapon of mine and I'll post the code for that. And the 2 clicks thing was explained on YD's Megaman 8-10 weapons thread by CutmanMike himself.

Here's the powerup code, just make it so the altfire gives it to the player and add enough delay for the powerup to run out.

Or you can make it like Mike, via ACS, so you can customize the screen and stuff.

Instead of freezing the time, the second weapon could be flash stopper (bright man's weapon in mm8bdm).

Freezing time is going to be obnoxious. Even using Time Stopper without stopping to refill stops time for less than 10 seconds. I'd say cut the altfire and just have the first part of the weapon, since that's where the interesting stuff is.

No AltFire. No other weapons in the game have it. Many people don't even have a key set for it.

My ideas for Spark Manbow:

Hold down Fire to charge the Manbow in your buster. Ram into people from the front to deal damage. Like a frontal Star Crash.

Release Fire to shoot the Manbow. Upon contact, it explodes like a Crash Bomb, but does slightly less damage.

Release Fire while in the air (e.g. JUMPING) to stun all enemies around you within a certain radius, like Spark Shot. Instead of stopping enemies, you simply stun them, slowing them down. Remember, Manbow didn't stop ALL enemies in the game!

Of course, since you get a great melee weapon, a power bomb, and a stun weapon all at once, it has to have HUGE ammo consumption.

Since i have made Holy Water...i have decided to make the Sub Weapons from the Castlevania Games...so Expect The following items:

-Knife
-Stop Watch
-Axe
-Diamond from CV2
-Sacred Fire
-Holy Cross
-Syphia's Fire Spell
-Sypha's Seeker Orbs
-Sypha's Freeze Spell

They will have the original SFX!

EXPECT THEM SOONER OR LATER...THEY WILL BE BUILT OFF OF HOLY WATER'S .PK3

...I didn't read the Castlevania 3 manual, I usually figure out the controls on my own.

The Hellfire is easy, but the whip may be a little tricky, because it'll have moments.

Hellfire:
An A_SpawnItemEx goes before the firing frames, creating the "Spawning fireball" visual effect (the fireballs seems to appear from portals, so..). Then 1 or 2 tics later the fireballs are shot from the player

Whip:
This one is damn tricky if you are aimming for visual impact.First because it uses A_SpawnItemEx for the frames of his whip about to be used (Two or one frame), and then the aimmed A_SpawnItemEx (see in Zdoom Wiki's A_SpawnItemEx to learn how to aim spawned items) To spawn "chain links" at slightly different distances from user (2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 might do it.)

Just the simple 4 axe rotaitions in the game in all 5 directions

All the weapons use one Throwing Animation (because Simon Belmont throws things...why doesn't megaman?),and i have the Icon made for the weapon,and all the weapons share the same Ammo Bar.

Done with the rotations. Actually, A mirrors B too, as C mirrors D and B&C, A&D mirror vertically each other.
