This doesn't belong in Mega Man Dicussion. Moving it to Anything Goes.

Then you should have said that somewhere. I've seen too many threads posted in the wrong forums. If there is no indication that it's for that forum, then it gets moved.

Moved back since this is supposedly for Mega Man fails.

And I'll kick it off with something I did while streaming. I was Bass doing (mostly) buster only against Tengu. I was on my last health, so I switched to spread drill. I got caught in a tornado hold and I got dropped off the edge as my spread drill finished off Tengu. Good fun.

I often make really bad mistakes (I call them spontaneous idiot ball moments) while playing MM8BDM, even when I'm doing really well.

As for real Megaman games..well..

I've had plenty (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5yj7k55Ljg)    of (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OyE3Mx1KKJw) bad (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oijyv73Opms) moments..

Man, I should really get back to my playthroughs..

As for real mega man games
I was playing mega man 5 and i went through charge mans entire stage and faught him two times (died both times. he was the first one I faught)
when i finally ran out of lives. i rememberd you could use charge shots in the game. i beat him that time.

You forget charge shots in the game that they're most overpowered?

Wow.

I was battling Nitro Man on Hard Mode in MM10, on my last life. Soon, we both literally had 1 hp left. The next thing I know, I shot the Chill Spike the wrong way, (What? I was panicked! Last life+low ammo+low health=PANIC)  then Nitro runs me over.  BUT THEN, he runs over the Chill Spike that was shot the wrong way. AND DIES. The game still counted it as a loss though...  :(

I was playing MM10 last night. I made it all the way to Wily Stage 4, lost my last life to the Wily Machine and bought a few more items before I mistakenly hit "Stage Select." That took me all the way back to the entrance. I raged and tossed the remote to my sister and let her play Phoenix Wright.

Also, I went to my region's Science Bowl yesterday. It might not exactly be a Megaman fail, but it's Megaman related. One bonus question was "Who was the first man launched into space?" My team talked it over, had no idea, and with less than 5 seconds to answer, someone said "It's some Russian dude."

My answer: "Mikhail Cossack."

That got some laughs out of everyone in the room.

I was fighting the Metool dad on MM8BDM and he had 1 piece of health left.
I was running towards a corner and jumped over a metool and touched the dad. I died and it took me 10-14 more tries to beat it.

RIPPED FROM "LULZY MOMENTS" TOPIC:

Well, most of my fail moments weren't hilarious enough to remember.  I've dropped about 5 lives down bottomless pits-'n'-such, but there was one notable thing.

It was Cut-Man's stage, Mega Man.  I'm running along, I have nearly full health, no special weapons.  I always defeat Cut-Man first.  I walk down the long-ass boss hallway, without a scratch.  I come to Cut-Man...and he starts cutting me up.  I manage to pin him against a wall, but I keep getting damaged whenever he's attacked.  It's a race, and I don't wanna be first.  I relentlessly mash the Fire button, and finally, with one hit point left, I watch Cut-Man explode, in that colorful explosion of his...

And the Rolling Cutter, currently behind me, comes back around, smacks me in the back, and kills me.  Fun.

MM1 only ever had this happen once, but you know that one guard joe in bombman's stage that guards the one up, I went right by him and as he chased me, he got stuck in that little nook up against the wall as usual. But somehow he glitched through the wall and I got massacred by a jumping joe of death, (must remember to not run next time).
