CURRENT STATUS: DarkFantasy theme is broken, can't seem to fix all the bugs it's causing. Subsilver2 is the default theme for now. Medals will be fixed later today.

Please keep an eye out and report any more bugs you find.

Also, the "users online" at the bottom when using DarkFantasy(maybe more?) is broken and stretches to the inky blueness.

Spambots can use reCaptcha now? Well that sucks. I'll change registrations to a logic check then.

Fixed the forum link on the blog.

Will look into users online.

Edit: Okay I can't find out which file is causing that but when I get home I'll download the whole layout and ctrl-f like a madman until I figure out what's causing that. Subsilver2 displays it just fine so switch to that if it's annoying!

I..... just can't fix these things now. I would have to reinstall the whole forum. How swimmingly that would go is probably down to fate. If I do this, the forums and topics SHOULD stay in tact but I'll have to do it when the community is asleep or something

Okay I reinstalled the forum software. Interestingly DarkFantasy theme is STILL broken, and medals have completely died.

Let me know if there's any other bugs to add to the list... Are polls working now?

I think we'll just stick with subsilver2 for now. Trying to fix medals now but it seems I've lost all the image files for the medals... WHOOPS!

Nuhhh!!! It's so silver. Also the column width is ridiculously huge!

I hope this doesn't last too long. I loved the dark fantasy theme due to the column width. Now posts have ridiculously long line lengths! Also the dark color schemes. That and subsilver2 just has this "Hey! I'm a generic message board" feel. Cutstuff isn't generic! It's awesome.

Until someone magics me up a version that works? I don't feel like wrestling dozens of php files to find out what's causing all these problems. The way styles work is that you have to maintain every single one individually, it's not a simple matter of putting on a coat of paint over skeleton contents (like wordpress). Want medals on your forum? You'll have to paste the medal code into all of the files for each style you have.

It is a pain but try to put up with it for now. I don't want to get too involved in this stuff until I know for sure that cutstuff.net is going to stay up past March (more FUN info on that later)

Edit: I can probably fix the medals pretty quick if someone happens to have the images in their cache floating around, otherwise I gotta install photoshop and export them all again!

Edit2: Good news is it's kept all the info about who has what medals: medals.php (http://cutstuff.net/forum/medals.php)

worst case scenario nothing happens!
best case scenario, epic Doom/Megaman Theme for forums!
most likely scenario, we get a mediocre layout which is basically subsilver2 recolered.

I don't see any real disadvantages to trying.
