By the same ones behind can't defeat airman I believe. Not sure how many of you were aware of it.
-
Airman can be beaten. Except in Megaman 2 Mobile's Difficult setting. As for this... Megaman I had the whole meanning of NINTENDO HARD.
-
I've heard it before--obviously, in related videos by the more well-known "Can't Defeat Airman."
Either way, I've beaten MM1, and I find it painfully inaccurate.
Guts Lifts: I've jumped across these before. Honestly, I think that the major psyche-up for them is the player's main obstacle. To quote someone--can't remember who--from Exploding Rabbit: "If you think it's a hard jump, it's going to be a hard jump." If the increased gravity is what's getting ya, you could even jump around while waiting to fall down to the next one. Even if you don't have the Guts-Man to cross, one can always go to Elec-Man twice for the Magnet Beam (Thunder Beam breaks the blocks too) .
Also, he's stupid for not starting at Bomb-Man. >_>
Elec-Man's Staircase: I jumped up this my first time without any *real* trouble. Some players seem to forget that shooting those land-mines stuns them for a couple seconds--very helpful for moving through a delicate area. Other than that, it's just another "risk jump," like those seen in MM9's second Wily stage. Walk until only one foot is still on the platform, and jump forward as high as you can.
I, for one, would have preferred a verse somewhere in this song about something in Ice-Man. Disappearing tiles, Propeller Platforms, the fight against him, whatever. Hell, I would have preferred Vs. Fire-Man to Elec-Man's Staircase.
Yellow Devil Fight: I'll admit I cheated for this boss--Thunder Beam select glitch--but it's because I didn't want to have to keep running through the level. All "Devil" bosses are pretty much the same. Sit around, get your ass handed to you for about 5 lives, FINALLY catch on to the pattern, and "dodge like a pro."
Overall, as catchy as this song is, I think the player is just inexperienced. Sure, I keep it up as BGM for doing whatever it is I do, but it's not something I'd want incessantly looping on an MM8BDM stage.

The only things that really make MM1 hard are..
1) No E tanks
2) No health breaks in the teleporter room
3) Ice Man's glitchy floating platforms.
You can magnet beam through them
3) You die from spikes even if you're temporarily invincible from taking damage.
-
I remember playing Mega Man 1 a longgg time ago (at a FuncoLand with my dad) and trying GutsMan's stage first. Couldn't get past the platforms.
I told him I didn't want it, lol.
-
What about this?
It's how Eddie is useless, and Rush always seems to be out of energy when Megaman needs him most.

You forgot the worst: Always wet floor. It's easier to slip off the ledge while walking.

Yes, but both MM1 and 2 had that problem. It didn't really make the game harder; it was just annoying.

Out of all the Megaman related Nekokan songs, "No sleep until clear!" is still my favorite.

Mine's Airman Ga Taosenai (Airman Can't be Beaten) and Okkusenman. Dunno if they are both of the same artist.
-
First one is nekokan, and the second isn't.

Nah, if you can't beat Metalman, better give up on living... forever.

I got to Love this song,"Do these guys really want to Help?",and Air Man Ga Taosenai...but Sylpheed (by Nekokan) is my personal favorite!
"THE TIME IS FLOWING BY"

Problem: the beginning of the song is stating that s/he can't even reach Heat-Man; they can't cross the disappearing tiles. They actually are similar to the Guts Lifts: I've had to make harder jumps, and the only reason people trip up about them are because of songs like this.
IMO, the only hard parts of MM2 were the Wily Machine (duh,m that's always hard) and the Quick Beams.
-
Thanks, I didn't know about this.
I hope they come up with a cool English dub resembling the Airman video.
-
Well, what do we have here...
-
i can't beat aircon man
-
Mad props to Ivory for the info!
-
Woodman is much harder than Airman, cause those falling leaf are hard to avoid.
About the first video: Luckily Using save state do the game as easy as MM2. If not, really I wouldn't sleep until clear.
In actually I would do it if I bought the cartidge for not wasting the money spent on it.

I like "No Sleep Until Clear" more than "Air Man ga Taosenai," not only because it sounds better, but is a little easier to relate to. Even on difficult on MM2, Air Man isn't very hard. In fact, I find him easier than Metal Man since I can't really tell where in the air he's throwing the blades.
MM1, however....man...I've only been able to beat it once on the Anniversary Collection on easy mode. I can understand "No Sleep Until Clear," but "Air Man ga Taosenai" just seems to be a hyperbole. Except with the Heat Man disappearing blocks and junk. "Do These Guys Really Want to Help?" is probably the most accurate of the three (for me, at least) but, I don't like it very much. And yes, Kiwi Kenobi is awesome. She improved a lot from "I Can't Defeat Air Man" to "No Sleep Until Clear."

Full Version of AIRMAN GA TAOSENAI with Credits extra. Sadly, vocal off.
-
is a english version of no sleep until clear

I was disappointed that this song didn't have anything with Ice Man's/Wily Stage 1 flying platforms, leaning more towards the Wily Stage 1 ones, as the ones in Ice Man's stage can be crossed via Magnet Beam, whereas you can't do that in Wily Stage 1 due to the spikes and you have to conserve Magnet Beam power for the next screen.
I played Mega Man 1 on the Anniversary Collection (Normal difficulty, no autofire or navi mode) and the only parts I had trouble with were:
1) Elec Man boss fight (low on health at this point)
2) Ice Man floating platforms
3) Wily Stage 1 floating platforms
#3 made me ragequit.
