Figured i might as well make a topic, i guess... Been working on this for a while anyway.

(Ex: Santa will not give Creeper a stun ball when killed by his melee attack untill updated.)
Well, the reason of this (unofficial) patch is to improve GVH in terms of balance, fix stuff that isnt working, and occasionally add a new function or even replace them entirely in rare cases. All that while still keeping gameplay roughly the same and simply making things more fair on both sides.
This patch adds changes (mostly nerfs/buffs) to all classes and whatnot.
List of changes (taken from the server MOTD):
Changes:
Marine:
More machinegun ammo.
Hunter:
Normal ammo system returned. Normal bow usable on 0 ammo but has
a slower loading time and makes no dropped arrow appear. Damage = 32.
Cyborg:
No invulnerability while using jetpack dashing. Cooldown on Jetpack after shooting.
100 Jetpack ammo. Regenerates if below 25. (only triggers if regaining ammo)
Engineer:
Nailgun faster in general and probaly a little less damaging.
New Useitem: Gives stun immunity. Reduces slow, grants half movement on stun.
Also grants faster movement when not stunned/slown.
Ghostbuster:
Max. Ammo changed to 150. Blood spreader nerfed.
Santa(If added):
Snowgun (obviously) nerfed. Archievements back.
Sjas:
Main attack does 0.1 less damage in a scale of 1.0.
Creeper:
Succesfull kills grant a a stun ball.
Jitterskull:
Missing a charge takes longer. Movement stun not prolonged. Also decreased radius.
Choke:
Attack buffed accordingly with increased HP (he needs it!)
Frostbite:
Breath slows people down, more hits, more slowing down. Larger and faster too.
Humans will sparkle (like Frostbite) when hit by breath. Showing they've been hit.
Archievements have been fixed.
Bots with multiple weapons have improved AI now. Especially Ghostbuster.
Recent changes:
Sjas range restored, damage 0.9. Jitter damage restored, even less range.
Jetpack 100 fuel, regen to 25 ammo. Plasma damage restored.
4 steam cannon ammo. 1 useitem for Engineer.
Free slow shot for hunter if no ammo. 100 hp back for humans.
If anyone wants to propose changes, add feedback, maybe even suggest entirely new functions, well, go ahead. This is a good way to kill time while waiting for an update anyway so i dont mind to check people's feedback or idea's. :P
Probaly because you where playing the side with the overpowered ranged instakill weapons... Heh...
I prefer the current one as it fixes most vile unbalanced weapons, well, except that strongest weapon in GVH the lightning bow, perhaps next version... Good thing Jitter stayed strong even after the massive so-called "JITTERRAPE!!!!!" and the eating nerf. Could have been worse...
Not like the ghouls in the really old days kicked as much ass as the humans with one-hit ranged kills did. Sjas even had to STOP when screaming! Oh rediculous old times...
Oh, updated the patch too. This time the style is going back to the official a little but with the obviously needed nerfs. At the very least it makes the HP 100 again, just hope i didnt forget to change any variables in the damages.

I do kinda miss the old days when we had no map pack and we played random maps from popular mappacks instead. Resulting in some really odd and sometimes simply one-sided gameplay with the many different maps, gimmicks, oh that one small room with the Cross, oh the rape... Or that gigantic castle map...
