So, this seems like an interesting concept... why not try it out?

I'm basing it on Wario Land II right now, my first game.

Right now, I've...

Replaced the Dr. Light Lab song (MM9 Maze Of Death) with the first chapter's theme from WLII (One Noisy Morning)
Replaced all idle rotations


Progress. The colors come out different for the later frames I made, the oranges were changed to pink for some reason..

Hope this doesn't meet the same sad fate as the other expansions...

For skins, you could make the Gooms. That would be funny, seein a bunch of Pirate Gooms walkin around.  :)

Alright, thanks for letting me know LlamaHombre.

And, if WL1 comes in mind, DarkAura already made a Bucket Head skin.

Pirate Gooms are awesome, right? They kind of remind me of Mets. Enemies will be made into skins, too.

Ive never gotten to play II but I'd say all of them, but start small like YD did with classes by starting with 1 (can I help with this in some way?)

ANd my god, I LOVED the third game. 5th and 4th both come close to a tie. They were pretty much my childhood in a cart, yep. Also Rudy's theme is badass

The front and front-side sprites are done, and the front sprites have been imported into the skin.

So...I'm guessing weapons (if you decide to add them) will work like Wario's 'power ups' ingame?

For example, there could be a Flattened ability which lets you get across large gaps, etc.

I'll let people decide whether or not we have power ups/weapons in the game. Each skin will be like it is in the game. If are going to have powerups, we'd have to make extra sprites, lots of them, for it.

Yeah, perhaps it wouldn't be the best idea to add weapons. It would lag the game really badly.

Expansion still looks cool. :cool:

Well, wouldn't all the sprites be bad for the game? If not, then I apologize. It would still be a ton of work, though.

I guess you could do flattened by doing the crouch pose though..

I'm assuming this is just going to be a skin/map pack with nothing more just using mm8bdm weapons up until the classes trend hits this

Well, when there's skins like Wario and a (Pirate?) Goom, it would be horribly unbalanced if one made classes out of them. On one side, there's Wario, who would be able to charge, melee, ground pound (maybe) and do all sorts of things...Then there's a guy that walks around with a spear and would prod people.

That would make for a awesome game mode though, one person becomes wario and the rest become gooms and you have to gang up to defeat wario

At this point, it's going to be a map/sound/skin pack, because I think powers are unnessecary, however, as ice said, there's game modes, so we could do that. Right now, I don't even know how to make maps, but I can edit textures or songs in maps, and I can make new skins and transcripts. I can also make weapons, bit that's most likely unnecessary for this.
