I think there's enough Minecraft players in this community to qualify for a Minecraft subtopic.

Well I don't see why not. Have to run it by Mike though.

In all due seriousness, I don't see why we would.  It doesn't make sense to clutter up the forum with barrels of topics relating to one or two texture packs/servers/whatever.  Maybe three or so specialized topics, but its own forum seems a bit much.

It wouldn't clutter up the forums. If you don't want to look in the subforum, you don't have to.

I personally voted for it.

Sure! why not!
I dont really look at minecraft threads that much.
But i might if there would be a subtopic.

Also you should add a Doom subtopic.  :p

There was a doom category. No one used it, thus it was removed.

I don't see the point. There's one Minecraft thread and like, 3 other Minecraft threads that barely anyone other than that thread creator posts in. It seems like a HUGE waste of a sub category.. wait... are we saying sub topics or sub categories? I'd possibly say sticky the topic but even that seems quite pointless.

The thing is.
We have a "all minecraft related stuff" thead.
That one could easily transform into 6/7 threads.
Then we have the couple of minecraft "art" topics and stuff like that.
I can find enough ways to fill that subtopic.

The thing is though, its ONE game. Plus the Minecraft topic has ONLY 26 pages. It's honestly just pointless. Even 8-10 topics wouldn't put a lot of use to it. =|

The game's a sandbox. People will never run out of things to say about it.

People bury the current topic often, or it would probably be as popular as Roleplaying Topic MK. 3 or Spamthread with the about of people playing it.

I wouldnt mind a subtopic for Minecraft but it has VERY little topics, even less then Doom probaly, so it seems unlikely.

Not to mention, how would the Minecraft Server topic be managed? Currently it is unviewable to non-registered people, keeping it community-only. (And helps keep the... less intelligent people from messing up the server, and whatnot, you should see the Minecraft community... Dont want those things near us, at all. Never.)

The horse goes:

Instead of a subtopic, why not just sticky it so it's not Buried?
