Title: General Elder Scrolls Topic
Post by: DarkAura on November 10, 2011, 11:54:29 PM
I thought that, since I'm a fan of Elder Scrolls: Oblivion and with the world-wide release of Skyrim in a couple of days, that I should make this discussion topic.

Discuss anything here involving either Elder Scrolls: Oblivion or Elder Scrolls: Skyrim in this topic. Anything from best weapons, rare artifacts, and skill levels. And don't forget about the Shivering Isles, Knights of the Nine, etc. expansions.

Let's see how long this thread lasts.

I loved Oblivion. I modded the hell out of the game. I made it into the most stupidly difficult game. Absurd levels of realism and difficulty through various mods. Good times, good times.

Why just Oblivion and Skyrim? Make this a general Elder Scrolls topic.

I guess I can.

So, anyway, I just started getting back to playing Oblivion. Killing enemies with 100% Chameleon is always fun. ^_^

Does anyone actually use the gray fox persona to steal stuff? I just run around killing guards. I think I'm around 100k bounty by now

Lol yea that's all I use that for is killing people. I never really got into stealing anything in that game because not much seemed as valuable as in Morrowind in random houses  :|

Every time I play Morrowind, I do the same exact thing to start.

1.) Steal the Limeware Platter in Seyda Neen and sell it for $600+.
2.) Find a guy in a shack in the same town and punch him until he knocks me out (and take all of his stuff).
3.) Leave through the door and rest outside for stamina.
4.) Repeat punching sessions until I'm level 60 or more at hand-to-hand (start knocking him out around level 30 or so).
5.) Leave Seyda Neen and the very confused and terrified villager along with it.

The Deadlands after a while, get a bit boring. Yeah, there are dangerous Daedra, but the Dremora become pathetic after getting glass (or an artifact sword). The towers are the same with minor differences, it serves to break your armor and weapons, and it can take a very long time (There's this one that you have to go through 2 normal sized sigil stone towers, then a portion through the third to get a sigil stone.) just so you can get famous -_- .

It's a thread.
It's the general Elder Scrolls thread.
OJ please we post in threads

It's a thread for posting about Elder Scrolls and it is the general thread for thread based purposes of Elder Scrolls, it is contained in the thread of many threads (http://www.cutstuff.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=6015) which prevents an even more vile act: Clone Threads.

I thought the age of OUTRAGEOUSLY SENSITIVE THREAD REVIVAL REACTIONS were behind us.
I died to create that Game Thread Catalog and then you pull this

I'd make a joke about how the last one went over your head but you'd probably duck that one too

I found out that creating spells is always better than the ones provided for you; also I'm in paradise (endgame), after this, should I create more spells or do light the dragonfires?
