I working on Protoman.exe 8-bit for MM8BDM  :cool:

Still my main problem is shield of original protoman.
I need sprites without shield.
Those 2 frames were done with Protoman /w shield and helmless megaman (dont ask why).
P.S. Should he be higher than Megaman in 8bit style? Just in BN protoman is higher than megaman but in 8bit Megaman is higher than protoman.

Is there anybody who can remove shield? its makes realy hard to make hair and back of char.

i'm sorry looks like i cant make it.  :(
I dont have protoman without shield sprites and i just cant make them myself. I'm editor or kind of it.

If you want the sprites to not have a shield, edit them off yourself or suck it up.
Didn't Protoman.exe have a shield?

take megaman's rotations, stick protoman's head on them, turn the underwear into a belt, ???, profit

Yes but, isn't he a megaman edit (and the mm8bdm one)? Isn't 8bit bass a megaman edit? Isn't cutman a megaman edit? It shouldn't really be a issue if the character was a edit to begin with.

Purple is where they overlap, red is Proto, blue is Mega.

Quite a heavy edit, don't you think?

And I'm well aware 8-bit Bass is a Megaman edit, but that's for reasons in the canon, seeing as Bass was created with Mega's blueprints in mind.

Cutman isn't a Megaman edit, they simply look similar. Their walking frames, however, are the exact same, same with Fireman.

about using megaman as base here comes another problem.
I checked protoman and megaman poses.
They are kinda different.
And yes you right. But poses of protoman that i made almost same as base of Megaman.
