Title: HELP! I GOT BANNED!

I was on Deathwind's Roboenza Server with my (former) friend, Zerox Daniel and his friend. Out of nowhere, he just decides to kick me, banning me from that server. I have no way of making my own roboenza server, and this is not the first time Zerox Daniel has banned someone without reason. If anyone knows how to unban without contacting the server owner or can contact Deathwind, please help!  :(

Daniel does not own the roboenza server. When you are vote kicked from the server, you are temporarily banned for a few minutes. You are not permanently banned. Only the server host can permanently ban someone.

If people are abusing votekicks, I suggest bringing this issue up with the owner of the DW servers. (Messatsu)

I was kicked twice by those guys when I went on a classes server. I asked if they were playing some sort of RP-ish thing, they said yeah, so I specced. Then the map changed, I got back in and owned, then I got kicked.

No fun.

Daniel randomly comes into a server and suddenly would just vote kick without a reason.

Usually saying for example "Pikminn please no kill me" or something like that, Still the guy has to have a reason for vote kicking people randomly.

They're not same as IP is concerned, but the best solution is to perma-ban that Daniel moron from every server that's hosted.

Maybe sending a report to Skulltag Masterservers admin is better idea... but we need proofs (can use my demos) and his IP

Sometimes when I'm in a game with him, he appears like a normal player, except for the fact that he doesn't like fragging me. When I ran into him afterwards, he apologized for kicking me. He just doesn't know better than to kick people from games. Maybe someone could try to teach him before we just get rid of him? I would, but I don't know how to speak spanish.

Yeah, that might work too. I think banning him should be a last resort if nothing else we do helps. I really hate the idea of banning a newbie because he doesn't know better.

If I see anyone vote kicking people so they can keep the server to themselves that's going to earn them a permaban from me.  If I see him on again I'll see what he does.

Update: I just banned (for now) a player named Daniel the Rush for kicking someone for no reason.

Ummm, just to tell you MegaLAD has never kicked anyone in his entire life. I'm his brother I know these things. Only I kick, and I only kick for good reasons. Like for example, I kicked Zerox Daniel of my server a few weeks back. It's funny though because MegaLAD mocks Zerox by saying stuff like "I'm cry" as a bind and "Not kick me please".

And, Zerox Daniel has kicked me as well for just not knowing how to speak Portuguese.

zerox daniel has taken up the alias "ice wave". he knows we'll kick him when he joins, so he's attempted a disguise.
i hate it as much as you do. i was playing rage roboenza, and i infected him, and he says, "stoooop gumball" i tell him to just play the game, and he tries to vote kick me. he'll also call himself "ashley", say he's zerox's sister, and use a roll skin, mostly in cft servers.

How about more salt on the wound? Now this Daniel guy goes around usin' other's IGN's. The obvious hints are his mannerism, his high pin', and any other stupid thin's he does. An IP ban from Skulltag would be nice, but that might be a bit of a bother to do so but it'll be worth it.

It's funny, just the other day I ran into "Ashley", and she said that Zerox kicked her and didn't mention any relation, though she did seem very similar to Daniel, with most of the same broken english. Strangely at one point they randomly said "I love you".  Creepy...  :twisted:

after a few encounters, i figured out how to tell whether or not it's him;

say someone who you've never met before, and has one solid color in their name enters the server, and simply says, "hi"

step 1: ignore them at first. see what they say. if they say "hi" over and over, they say, "not kill me please" or "-player name- stooooop", or "im a cry", it's probably him. if, like me, you want to expose him, do the next step.

step 2: ask if he/she is zerox daniel. be as subtle or as blunt as you like. if they say a simple "no", it's probably him. if they say something more elaborate, or say "who's zerox daniel?", probably not him... if it IS him, give him a chance at first. see if he behaves himself. if he doesn't, such as call a random vote kick, or simply aggravate another player, or chat excessively, do the next step.

step 3: give him a warning first. if he stops, let him be for a while. if he keeps it up, say "kick daniel y/y". he'll either ignore you, say, "nooooooooo!", or disconnect before you can. if he doesn't leave on his own, vote kick him. if the vote fails, just try to ignore him, or go to another server.

yeah, this may seem like a bit much for just one user, but... he causes a lot of problems. this topic is the proof. so... remember this, and you'll have zerox-free/well-behaved-zerox servers in no time at all, and everyone will be happy.

and, as savior said, be sure to check his ping. another good way to tell.

Next time to see him (or her), take screenhosts, record a demo (or a video), make a logfile, showing how he acts.

Hosters: If you want to ban him, try to make a IP range ban (avoids he evade by restarting his/her router)

Tell him that that name (Orange Juice) is the name of a known player, and request him to change it. If he disobeys, ban him for "Impersonation"

welp safe to say i have'nt been online since last week. i was with fyone on a server. and yes fyone, "cuddle pie the killer chao" was me. problem? xD

also note that i regularly say my trademark "CHAW-HAW-HAW" bind often in a server, usually after multifragging or just randomly. anyone of my other names are fake. and i will tell you when its me.

and my ping is usually in the
60-80 range on most servers. and there, how to tell if its the real me and not a impersonater. :lol:

I have a feeling that the Hadoken X I saw today was him. He kept saying "Gigas" "No left game please" and asked if I spoke spanish.

yeah, as for daniel, i saw him posing as [TTX] Alice on a powered up server. i know it was him because the color scheme he tried was [TTX] Alice, and there was much broken english on his part. i even caught him trying to quickly switch to the ninja roll skin before i saw him! see? now he's posing as other players!

Was that a cheat server? If yes I'm not surprised with that attitude. And Lad seems he didn't recieved a ban, just a kick (if someone is banned you'll see the "IP is now banned" message)

i mean seriously, after a while we were playing co op in }the credits map

I was pi, and the last image, it was me kicking lad so he wouldn't get banned.

You can't do anything about it in the forums anyways, and we weren't even votekicking.

Not to mention player and i often kicked ourselves

Alright well for one, I realize it was Ken's server, so I didnt expect anything to really be done. Also, Yes i know Bik kicks people all the time for no reason. Thank you Lag, and I was also mainly posting this to prove a point that a reason the community is failing is because people can't have decency toward each other in a game.

Lad told me that Bik kicked him 3 times, and then perma banned him. First Lad said why are you kicking me? Bik said "whynot" in the reason just like Tengu said. Second Lad said I didn't even do anything to you guys. Bik said "Fukc you" in the reason. Lad came back one final time. Bik said "gtfo" in the reason and this time perma banned Lad.

why ban people, why leave people out of the game. that's my question. whenever i go on a server sometimes people want to kick me before i get the chance to say anything, like for example last night on the lms carp server. why can't we talk things over peacefully instead of banning people for not even saying or doing anything. I even feel bad for zerox daniel, yes he used to randomly kick people but now he's a better person. trust me, i've seen changes in him. If the power was in my hands i would never kick anyone no matter what, not even bikdark. Kicking just leaves people out of the game mostly for no reason whatsoever. I know that people will call me a troll just because i so call spam "done" but i only say it three times, and if you don't like it use the ignore commmand, i don't care if you can't here me, but muting me is one big problem.

Ever wonder WHY folks do? They don't do it for no reason, otherwise they'd be folks that no one would talk to. Someone like Flashback, but never meet the guy before, but I've heard of stuff before. Ya realize how unnecessarily rude it is to rub a victory into everyone's face or just flat out bein' rude in general ya can be? No one likes to up with that, and ya've haven't changed much with that. Another thin' is that ya know folks don't like ya bein' rude, so why continue?. Ya shouldn't be surprised for not bein' well liked for what ya've been done. Now if ya really want to change, now's a good time, but it'll take much time to get everyone to trust ya. On another topic, daniel is still daniel. Sure I haven't seen him kickin' folks again (though I do expect him to do so in the near future), but he doesn't know how much he annoys everyone with his constant stale stuff and need for attention. If he does, then he really should know that no one's laughin' with him with his foolishness. Maybe we might be a little cruel on him because his English is not that good, however this is an English speakin' community and anyone needs to know useable English to get around here. Also bein' nice can ya through many leaps and bounds throughout here as well.

The whynot was me, so megalad wouldn't get banned so i could ignore him and he wouldn't be able to spam the server anymore

About the Daniel thing. I do feel upset (reason why is below) about it at times. I can understand on how annoying he can be. Yet it has become something along the lines of kicking on sight. That is from an observational point. I admit I participated in the kicks.

A question I would like to ask is:

Now, have we become (your actual age is irrelevent) the adults on the sidewalk waiting for the bus to arrive so we can get to work. During our wait a lone child comes by and tugs at our pantlegs, skirts etc. Are we the people that say "Get lost kid!" or do we try to help that very child and risk being late for work?  

You could say this is a predominatly English speaking community. Truth is, it is, however THERE are members out there that also speak Spanish or just Spainish mostly and little English. Hell, members of the spanish speaking community host their own servers. I am not saying take Daniel/Lucia/Whoever into their hands. He might just have a better chance at communicating over there and they could tell him Copying names is preettyyy much a no-no. He hasn't been kicking people as of late. I have seen some failed attempts at copied names of servermates recently.

I'm asking a question is all. I don't care whether he gets kicked over and over again or things change. What I do feel guilty of is this.

I taught Daniel the first time I saw him how to vote. We were at Drill Man, he wanted Star Man. I taught him solely how to vote for maps, NEVER kicking people.  This was eh hmmm early December I think. My sense of time is dulling. Some good deeds come around and bite you in the ass.  Still saying my Grandfather is Death. You scared and Stop please don't kill me is annoying. Yet, why did I help him? hfashfjashfasfkjfkdgkldf Retrospective thoughts please exit to your left thank you.


About the Carp the unholiest thing I've ever seen server. When I went there I was kicked and then when I got rid of my fake lol I only belong to a dead clan: [FXH] Dynamic tag I was muted. People copied my name, it made me a little pissed, yet I couldn't voice my frustration since I was muted. If I could that would have made things worse so thanks RCON (ab)users : D  At Dust Man I changed my name to Sretsbol is still muted but meh. I got unmuted. Didn't talk much anyways rofl. I was the Lobster with the 1 Hp handicap before someone else joined the bandwagon. Lol

Then, I remembered in my early days people would change their name to crab or shark. Oddly that exact thing happened later.  Anyways after remembering days like that. I let out a heartly chuckle to myself and got over it. That is my dull side of the story.


Really Doomseeker/IDE has a list of people on the server, so if it is full of people that to hate you, wouldn't  DON'T JOIN pop up in your head?   Not many people like Snitches they get stitches, reputation stitches not like yours needed to get any worse. :p I mean the server name might drop a hint as well. UNHOLIEST THING EVER. I knew what I was getting into. But, did you Lad/Eerie's Super Pingas, know what you were getting in to? Or, were you too DONE ! DONE! DONE! to care? If I get moded for these comments so be it. And yes I am censoring dumb with DONE! incase no one drew that conclusion.

The problem with Daniel right now is the fact that he impersonates others. Some of you may notice that I leave him alone if he openly says he's Daniel.

As for this...incident on Ken's server. I believe this clan hatred thing can be said (to an extent) to be whatever racism is called with clans. (Clanism?)

Point is, not everyone that is part of the clan is the same. So just because you don't like someone in the clan or the way the clan was formed doesn't mean you need to ban anyone resembling someone for that clan.

why is it that everyone thinks i'm a spammer, i don't say "bind spam ma language" thing anymore, that was old school.

however, i will never change my signature "done, done done" under any circumstances, i'm very proud of the way i produced that entire gimmick. Just because your unhappy with what i say doesn't mean you should take away my will to speak, don't make your servers dictatorships, please, it's not nice for me.

I don't understand why you are annoyed by Fyone's "fin" he doesn't even say it anymore.

I'm sorry if "done" annoys you but it's just the way i am, at least i don't kick and mute people when i have the chance, thats much worse than what i'm doing.

Now that I think about it, I think people might be annoyed when I use my "I FRIGGIN' HATE LAG!" bind. Just the other day, Lobsters told me to quit using that bind because he was getting annoyed by it. The way I see it, I'm telling everyone "It's lagging, don't shoot me." in a funny bind (Though no one ever listens...). If anyone is annoyed by this, please tell me how I should change it.

Yeah, I figured it was annoying. It's just people always ignore that little broken screw above a players head (It appears if the player is lagging and can't move) and continue shooting, and it's very frusterating to those who are lagging. I try to get my point across, but no one listens to it, and continue shooting. I wish people could figure it out, or better yet, I wouldn't lag!

Back to the Daniel topic... he (believe it or not) had the nerve to change his name to Brotoad, use a Toadman skin and class, and say he'd tell his mom if the kicking didn't stop. Seriously, we need to master-ban him.

Also at first this was a thread about OH NO I Got kicked from a server am I kicked 4 life????? Then turned into a Daniel this Dan the man that. Then Ken's Server BAW BAW "Trolls" with RCON D : Then Lad is annoying no additional comments there. Back to more Ken's Server with Clan discrimination. Then back to Dan the mother fucking man with the Plan again.


 Personal thoughts aside. Now if guys are so keen on banning him, then fucking do it. Waiting for it to happen isn't working for your cause take so intiative. Very Very Very Ironic coming from me if you knew me personally. But if they ban Daniel then I just hope this doesn't turn into MM8BDM MASTER BAN Tyranny. I can think of a select few people who are much more annoying then Daniel. Not pointing out names cuz this will metamorph into something into Lob said ban himself and other people let's go to Skulltag and RAWRARARARAWR Tyranny and Flame WARRRRR.  Yes I would say I am more annoying then Daniel on Occausion. ah... i've got quite a bit to say. if this isn't wanted, then... i'm sorry?

last night, i was on messatsu's PU DM server with several people i believe were <UF> members
they were discussing some "plan to restore the community" by killing off the "faggots"
i was trying to explain that just because i stood up for megalad when he was being trolled, i wasn't someone to hate
they were talking about "killing" megalad and fyone, including some harsh incest jokes
they claimed proto had to be killed because "he started dynamic"
then they turned their attention to me
they claimed everyone hated me and i was a "faggot" and all that crap
i did my best to keep my cool, and was asking why they were doing what they were doing
they claimed "the community is going downhill" and all that crap, and that they "had a secret plan to restore it"
i know red and pik were there, and possibly others
then, today, i'm kicked from a server by notable <UF> supporters
the way i look at it, it seems i'm up against the many <UF> supporters and those that are influenced by peer pressure
it seems some of my closer friends have turned against me, including tengu
even people i've never met have begun to troll me
i have no clue where this all came from, but i sure as hell am gonna do something about it

so, if this post bothers you in any way, go ahead and delete it
i'm simply letting you know what i heard that might relate to this
sorry for writing a novel, but i think this needs to be heard

I was recording EVERYTHING that happened today, so if ya don't want me to upload that part, I won't.

I sincerely apologize though. As for peer pressure, it was aimed at the person just as a joke. Whoever you talked to was not in the Skype call. (I can send you the video proof tomorrow if ya want)

(And no, I did not actually take part in kicking anyone except joke kicks which failed and Crashwoman (who I found annoying))

Psh, who cares if the elitism at Skulltag shows? Let them think what they want. Let's just deal with the issues here, instead of pointing fingers. After all is said and done, the scorning sector of the Skulltag community has no real impact here as, like you guys said, they don't even look at the game.

And that is without mentioning that at least we never had Cutstuff shut down because of drama.

I understand that reporting people who do things that are detrimental to gameplay should be reported to the owner of the server if it's too severe. However, I also believe that doing that is like plucking a plant and leaving the root: it will grow again. That is why we must tackle this problem by the root by starting from here. Communicating extensively with other people in the servers is difficult because of the small chat space and possible (even unexpected) spam. I believe that it's best to PM a person you have problems with here in the forums first than straight out asking to get them banned. If being civil doesn't work, tell someone with authority! Because let's face it, no amount of bickering will get things anywhere good for either side.

On another note, this should probably be moved to Anything Goes, since we aren't really editing anything here.

Well, in any case, I can't help but have a say in this. Mainly because I've seen entire communities fall apart to this problem. All I'm saying is, that bad communication and misunderstandings between users are best resolved by talking in a civilized manner with one and the other, most preferably through PMs, and leaving the serious offenses to people with power like moderators.

Of course, there are users around not just here, but EVERYWHERE whose judgement cannot be trusted. All that's needed is some common sense by seeing what they do both here and in the servers, to come to a more accurate conclusion of what is the best way to deal with that individual. This doesn't necessarily mean we have to do a C.S.I. level investigation, but simply spending a little time in the servers and see what they do.

part of the problem is the judgement of some of the players/users.

i think the reason i've been singled-out is because someone thought, "hey, this kid's a fag! let's all troll him 'til he ragequits!"
trust me, the last thing i want is conflict. i'm registered here to play and talk about mega man, not to make enemies and form clans.
so if you don't like me, we can talk it over. if that gets nowhere, there's always the in-game ignore function.
trust me, i've tried many times, and i can't bring myself to like daniel. i don't hate him, but i find him f**king annoying.
i use the ignore function when he's in the same server as me.
but kicking for no legitimate reason besides, "hey, i don't like you!" isn't a good way to solve problems.
think about megalad. the most he does is use those OwO ^w^ TwT binds once in a while. don't like it? ignore them.
when you kick megalad for those binds, fyone gets kicked as well, due to having the same IP, and that's not fair to him.

Im trying not to spam or flame as much in-games so i won't be too much of a bother to people (hopefully, it's up to you |w|).

but if people don't like what I am already doing, then they are way too serious to be playing this game.

I would also like to say that I see people kicking =Haste= members just for being apart of the =Haste= clan. What did the =Haste= clan do anyways to bother you people so much? Why do you hate us? I would like to know why because I keep getting kicked for this a lot lately and I see others of the clan votekicked for this as well.

1st of all, the true Haste members are gone. I even meet with the real Lonewolf about a monthish ago, and even he considers it dead. Ironman, to my knowledge, was never really recruited into the said clan. Anyone could wear the tag and claim to be in a clan, however that's not how Haste works. Haste members had to go through their process, and since the clan's dead ya folks are joinin' into a clan and makin' a big deal about while in reality it's non-existent. If yar really puzzled on why, this could explain a lot to ya.

In my opinion (I may be bieng a hyppocrite, but whatever) this whole "Flame Dynamic, flame "=Haste=" crud is pointless, all it does is bring people misery, THIS is what is really killing the community.  I don't know the whole origin of it, but it is pointless and stupid,  and in my opinion everyone has gotten less friendly lately and I think this is the cause.  It has died down a bit and i'm glad that it has, but I wish that everything could go back to normal (like when I first picked up 8BDM and people respected each other and helped each other out) and we can just stop this foolishness, right now.

refusal to troll lad and fyone + never instigating conflict towards anyone = being unjustly kicked

evidently, something in there went wrong
looks like this posse of players uses their numbers to "get their message across"
one of you care to explain? or is this going to become an issue?
i sure as hell aren't going to just take it

Unfortunately there are a good chunk of people on these forums, including me to an extent, who believe first impression is everything. Perhaps you, and maybe Lad and Fyone, should take a look at some of your older posts, compare them to your newer posts, and decide what has changed and what needs a change.

This thread's being worn out more than my knuckles during a writing exam.
