Title: UnHoly Classes: TRUE ZETA!!!

Well, Pikmin555 created some (admittedly buggy) classes, and he asked me to create a topic so I said, sure.

Anyway, this a collaborative project between me and Pik to create some classes that are all unique and to upscale the damage. A lot!

Aside from it being v1a of Classes, here are my thoughts.

1) You managed to break every weapon bar in the game, and I'm suspecting this is what's wrong with your WCOLORS as well.
2) Every new class you added is OP. They all use proto buster shots for their main fire, and if someone gets hit by that, they die instantly. Every altfire is basically the same, with a spreadshot of the OP proto busters, Frostbite being the worst offender.
3) "Tacticalbomber" is the only exception to the above, with him throwing 1HKO Ballade Crackers and, strangely enough, his altfire seems to be the most balanced thing you added. Short ranged, stationary Hyper Bomb that can kill himself and others instantly.
4) In terms of the actual weapons, Frostbite's is actually kind of neat, I like the shrapnel.
5) Your WCOLORS and SBARINFO are outdated. Get the ones from the latest version of 8BDM to fix your bugs, or at least it should.

Keep working on it, it's nice to see someone working on classes that aren't from Classic.

They aren't when you put them against each other. Only when you put them against bots. Look at their health.

With the other classes included, comparatively, they're INCREDIBLY OP.

It's odd to give something more health than the regular for 8BDM when you're making a mod for 8BDM. Keep that in mind.

So uh, they all move obscenely fast except for the gunner. And the Quickster is a bit OP with its speed and lack of needing ammo for its basic gun.

I think this is a unique project. However I have some input that might be nice to know.  The classes CAN pickup weapons. Which are useless due to the High Hp. They can't heal from health pickups.

I like how the Heavy Gunner's Screen gets darker after getting hit bit his jump skills not so much. Stages that need jumping to get around like Wood Man is a pain with him. Sorry guys but waiting 1-3 seconds for my alt to fill up to jump is just annoying. I just simply love the Igniter. I less than three [<3] flamethrowers.

Now to me it feels like the classes are in two sections, Section A: the Buster Guys with an alt that rapid fires the buster and B: The exploding weapon guys. I like the more unique classes such as Element Specialist, Tactical Bomber. The Quickster and Buster Expert are just some of the bland classes. Buster all he does is fire a slow rate of fire buster or alt burst fire that recoils heavily.  The Quickster is pretty much the same thing but with a faster buster and weaker shots while moving faster.

I really don't know what to suggest changes on I just don't. (Most of my ideas would change things drastically) I would like for the health to be much much much less. Like 200 for Heavy 75 for Quickster 55.5 for Trickster all I am typing here is pretty much the current health scales just without being super high. Also for some reason my ammobars were there but didn't show any units they looked empty for every class. This was tested offline.  All in all pretty sweet mod but needs more tweaking.

Alright, my thoughts on this mod:
Classes are a little bit unbalanced, but hopefully you can buff/nerf stuff.
That element specialist guy (The class that takes the sprite of Darkman) is REALLY awkward to use. His primary could have more range, and his alt could summon more fire pillars.
And for the close combat class, I think it's perfect.
The Rageunit class is fun for me to use. I like it just how it is too.
The heavygunner class should get a small small small small hp nerf. Otherwise, he's fine.

Those are my thoughts.

He takes some gettting used to. Try lobbing around his main fire like Flame Blast in vanilla. His secondary fire is good for blocking off bogies on your tail. Sometimes, I rush by someone and use the fire pillar. Hopeing I get in a few hits when they start chasing me.

This is the greatest mod I have ever played. It's like AwNet multiplied by about 50 with a bit of GvH thrown in for good measure.

It's unbalanced, the attacks are OP as fuck, and there's lots of trolling (ESPECIALLY with Rage Unit)... yet I can't stop playing it. You, good sir, have captured the essence of "a good time" perfectly within this mod, and for that I congratulate you.

I can't wait for the next build.

Yeah it is so much more useful now. Now once you see the bomb start running instead oh, wait one second then run. It is way better at killing people now.

Hi, I would like to post that Heavy Gunner is Broken please fix and I feel this only way to get it done is by posting it on the forums. He is so Over-Powered that he is Under-Powered. While this is total nonsense, so is the balance behind Heavy Gunner. Sorry, Pik it HAS to happen sooner or later. The people have spoken many many times on this.

 I'll eventually attempt at making HUDs for you guys woot. Attempt. Keyword.

Okay in a full ammo bar fueled salvo of shots he shoots I'd say atleast 16-20 shots that do 200 damage each shot. Seriously he can kill you in a flash. His ammo bar fills up in a flash. Sure there are other broken classes. But everyone seems to pick him out the most out of everyone. Basically in 1v1 tank wins 85% of the time. The only way to beat a tank is to use tank itself, have everyone gang up on it, or have 2-3 Raiders present and inject his slow ass.

It's useful in levels requiring alot of jumping, seeing as the Heavy Gunner can't jump that high without that alt.

Hate to be a buzzkill, but... you should really update that classes list.

Considering how often HD is on the forum (and how he just recently posted the new build) I don't think it should be too hard.

I've seen a LOT of people ask how a class works, and since there's no "source" material the mod builds from it's hard sometimes.

Woop V1G Checks front page lol what. Updating that is similar to how much I check my FB shizz. In other words never. The latest change is dl link and adding Tsuki to the staff list. Lol. The classes aren't hard to figure out either. Omg two attacks I don't get it!!! It is nice to have some sort of manuel though.Decoybot is suppossed to be a bot only class last I knew. Looks like somebody is hating on the Super/Hyper/Ultra Combo/Desperation/Overdrive/X-ray Move/Super Special Move to the face. For Trickster I am astonished at the lack of OMG not Nes era sound effect. /Me pulls out 1911 I can't live anymore. *Disconnects* I
can't help but notice the prior posts question of adjusting "Lim" reminds me of something Woop Shift's Over I'm out. Also I felt like
coming up with different names for classes but lol they suck. You don't want
to see them. Hate typing on my phone.

LIM ---> Raider (AOE to negate darkening attack thingy)
Homingseeker ---> Flightunit (hit the flying target w/ ease)
Igniter ---> Frostbite (duh)
Tacticalbomber ---> Heavygunner (slow + OHKO bombs = weakness)
Heavygunner ---> Trickster (simple, powerful on weak 555 health)
Raider ---> Igniter (blades severing his fuel pump)
Trickster ---> Quickster (stun bombs and AOE freezing quickster)
Quickster ---> Closecombat (teasing w/ speed against short range slashes)
Rageunit ---> Luckylass (angry skull beating down weak little girl)
Luckylass ---> LIM (array of varying attacks confusing LIM)
Closecombat ---> Greatshielder (shield is now useless)
Greatshielder ---> Busterexpert (Protection against simple busters)
Busterexpert ---> Homingseeker (low-mobility magnet dude)
Flightunit ---> Rageunit (flight makes tossing attack useless)
Elementspecialist ---> Tacticalbomber (settin' off his bombs or freezing him)
Frostbite ---> Elementspecialist (more powerful ice to negate both weaker elements)

Correct.

In case you don't know what this does, this will amplify all damage done by Megaman by a factor of 10, thereby making him able to compete with the other classes.

Also fixed so it doesn't randomly vanish.

Lobsters's usual Long Post move along people.

I noticed my dearly beloved HeavyGunner/Tank/Sheila was how do we say it. Got in a situation that changed him/her forever. RIP Alt Jumping. Alt reload. and no ammo Buster Piss Stream/Longer Range Arcing Quickster No Ammo shots on steriods in the ROF department eh what. I might be the only one that probably perfers jumping tank/Auto reload and no Piss Assualt. I heard that it was changed becuase of a comment about Bunny Hopping. You Want BUNNY HOPPPING?? Play as QUICKSTER while holding down jump and let the Bunny Hopping magic truly commence. Lol no comparison son.

Anyways things I wouln't mind seeing such as this awesome class idea.

Now for more serious complaints/feedback/demands. Would Love for A. Man to exist but loooool.

Swap Great Shielder's Totally not a hovering CC (Close Combat) Dash for a Shield Toss Boomerang that preferably doesn't bank. Also have the boomerang eat projectiles in it's flight rofl or even worse deflect them.  

Maybe Faster Lass Sniper Shot: Thinking of ST Railgun speed wise (watch it is as fast as one already)

Fix Raider Suicide Kill. It's fun to (AB)use but I beleive really needs to go/get fixed. "Oh look! It's Mr. and Mrs. Negative Points!" I think I am becoming a broken record with this one.

This isn't really a big problem but enjoy.
IMO Quickster is pretty good in tier list setting maybe near the god slot. If you know how to use it well (which isn't hard to do if I can do it so can you) the only thing is you get demolished by is HeavyGunner/Tank/Sheila everytime so stray away from Tank Boiz. His Buster stream thing (NO AMMO shooting) Reminds me of the devastating Custom Robo Combo of Little Raider/Sprinter + Stun Gun. Total Devastation. I think it is (eh trite term) "OP" On the flipside I have no current suggestions on how to adjust it. I would be content if it didn't get adjustments anyways. I see players viewing it as "UP" it is hard to classify in the Unepic community.  Then again mostly everything is "OP" it kind of works it all out.

Buster Expert is a Mixed Bag for me It seems Strong but Weak at the same time. I was encountering bad lag when I was pondering his strengths so my shots missed hardcore. I don't think it needs the exploding splash damage shot but not my Mod.

For Lim getting buffed or nerfed I say nerf in general. I haven't used it enough but the Centaur Flash Aoe thing is a bit much. Full Masochist bar with full Buster Bar = Aprrox 4-5 flashes of death. Yeahhhh Masochistic classes ftw >_>. Then again A. Man suggestion the irony.

Bump of importantness!

Well, here's the deal. Me and Pik put our heads together and decided to create 2 separate branches for UnEpic (think FireRed/Leafgreen relationship):

Pikmin Blue: Has all the original classes, plus anything else Pik decides to cook up. I will probably have very little to no part in making this.

HD Yellow: This version, run by yours truly, will replace most (not all) of the classes. My focus will definitely be on balancing the classes.

I will probably release a beta sometime this weekend, so keep on the lookout!

If anyone has any ideas for classes or any balancing issues, please don't hesitate to let us know!

Issues:
SiteWorker: can change weapons while holding a boulder
Trapist: can change weapons always (though possible intended? if so still not useful)
Astrologist: same as SiteWorker

Copy Weapons still useless making Newmegaman useless and he still uses the defult Megabuster so he only has more speed and HP, not the damage output to match the other classes.

4 classes all using the Megaman skin now not counting regular Megaman (Megaman, NewMegaman, TangoUnit, BusterExpert, AeroUnit). 2 using Napalm (Heavy Gunner and Decoybot). Colors or not it can still get confusing.

Maybe make Aerounit (who seems op over the others) use Cloud Man, BusterExpert maybe use Bass, Tangounit maybe use Slashman and Decoybot maybe Auto.

I'm pretty sure the weapon changing on the two wasn't intended.

And remember an issue with classes, sometimes your weapon's colors don't load right at the start of a match until you die, if that happens no one can tell if you are Buster Expert, NewMegaman (who would be this one anyway with it being unable to do decent damage), TangoUnit, normal Megaman (same reason as New) or AeroUnit until you shoot. (well AeroUnit is obvious) Same reasons you can't change skins in other class mods minus CSCC.

Hi forte, I am a beta tester of this mod. Aero units skin caus error when windman was used, the only usable skin was mega. Also, astrologist knocks players away from you when hit.

Set the first frame in spawn to PLAY instead of whatever Wind's code is. That'll solve your errors.

This thread might be dead, but seriously, this was the most fun I've had in ages, fighting bots was actually entertaining, don't even get me started on Igniter's bot, dat flame buster. But anyway, I'd love to see this mod continue to expand, and if it's still being worked on, that's fantastic. Thanks for such an entertaining mod. We need to see servers for this.

The Igniter's alt and Rameses' shots don't ignite oil pits, and the Arcanist's alt doesn't freeze Teru Terus in Cloud Man's stage. Also, Frostbite's shots don't freeze the lavafalls in Junk Man, and neither does the Arcanist's alt.
