Title: Metroid Prime Hunters
Post by: LifeCraft J on January 01, 2012, 06:35:22 PM
This thread is all about the Metroid Prime Hunters video game for DS!
I'll start out with saying that Weavel is the worst hunter ever.

I would love this game a lot if the Multiplayer wasn't full of hackers and quitters.

Ah, i played that but i never got quite into it... Just didnt like the controls essentially, and figured the delayed and weird controls would be my doom eventually anyway, though the first guy and first stationary boss where doable, but somehow i lost interest afterwards... It was quite a shoddy job i did on that laser spamming machine... :P

Yeah... I wonder if Nintendo can somehow make their old and new games for Nintendo Wi-Fi connection hack-proof.

Yeah, hacking, glitching, and quitting made online just an exercise in frustration.  Combine that with the OHKO sniping crap and it basically becomes a Trace fest.  In fact, this game is THE reason I hate sniping weapons in games.  Thank God there aren't any true ones in MM8BDM.  Otherwise, outside of the mouse and keyboard, I find the controls to be the best FPS controls.  So precise.

Oh, I should mention that if you get people who don't quit, hack, or use the imperial all of the time, it's a blast.

See, THIS is why you should add friends who have the game that you can trust not to use cheats!
That way, everyone who wants to play fair is happy!

EDIT: The Imperialist may be deadly, but you need really good aiming to get the job done. Plus, there is a delay after shooting it, and there is only 6 shots for each time you get ammo.
It's not really THAT bad.

" WEEVIL SUX " My ass, have you ever used him?
The halfurret is indeed useful for trapping and killing, Just leave the turret there and wait for someone comes near.
THEN BAM! KILLING!

His turret may be half-decent, but his version of the Battlehammer SUCKS!
Seriously, his version shoots slower, but has a better coverage, but THATS IT!
His halfturret slice is quite hard to land on hunters, not to mention.

And this friend code is getting added too. Its my 777th post.
4770-9635-7403. My name? XXKSXX1
I used to be a super hunter but then I was beaten by this random player...
So yeah... I've beaten the game 98 times and I've beaten it 100%. I even unlocked everything in the game. Also my favorite hunter is Samus Aran.
Questions? No? Ok.

Online is officially dead to me. I played the game not too long ago and the only thing I saw after like 15 matches was hacking and I think I saw that shadow freeze thing.

Yeah, I had that happen like 3 years ago.  Went back to the game and am stuck on 3 stars forever because I either face hackers or disconnectors.  What a disaster.
