They have appeared in every Mega Man game. They have annoyed us to no end. And there are enough unique ones for me to start this: Joe Classes!

I have counted 15 Joes that would be feasible to add. There are:
Sniper Joe: Your average Joe! He's got a shield and a fast reloading, fast traveling, but weak buster weapon! He also has grenades that can hurt like the dickens if contact is made!
Returning Sniper Joe: The new and improved Joe with rideable giant mech! He's got a slower, more powerful shot than his little brother, and his mech, with a fast, strong buster and devestating stomp, is huge and powerful!
Hammer Joe: The big bruiser Joe! Slow, but incredibly powerful! His hammer hurts if it makes contact, and he can also swing it around as a melee attack!
Skeleton Joe: The fast and sneaky Joe! Can't take much damage, so use him stealthily! His bone throw is weaker than most other attacks, but his speed makes up for it!
Rider Joe: The incredi-fast Joe! He can't be killed by instakill water- he rides it! Use him for hit-and-runs!
Apache Joe: The high-flyer Joe! His attacks are strong, but flying is limited, so use it wisely!
Crystal Joe: A slower Joe with a strong shot! He can take some hits, but it takes a while for his Crystal Arrow to fire! Use him as a sniper!
Gunner Joe: The space-going Joe from MMIV! He has unlimited flying and homing missiles at his disposal, so you better watch out with him!
Piraparee: The electric Joe from MMV! He has a simple electric shot that can stun, and he can charge up, creating a successful hugging shield that can reflect most shots- but you can't move while using it!
Cannon Joe: The heavy hitter Joe! He's very slow, but one shot from him means trouble!
Colton: Due to furious demand, it's Colton, the Joe-ish gunslinger! He's got a quick draw buster flurry, and... a cool hat!
Sniper Joe 01: The weak-as-paper Joe isn't so weak any more! He can charge up his buster for a powerful charge shot, and he's just a bit faster than his two older counterparts! He's still got weak armor, though, so dodging is essential for him!
Trucker Joe: The truck-driver Joe! Although he has awful strafing, one charge from the front means major damage! Be careful!
Machine Gun Joe: The rapid-fire Joe! His shield can be blasted away, but it only makes him more mobile! His shots are fast and furious!
Aqua Joe: The aquatic Joe from Mega Man Rush Marine! He has a simple water shot, and he's much faster in water! He also has a buster that is more powerful and faster in water!
Harpoon Joe: Also from Mega Man Rush Marine, it's the stabby Joe! He's got a fast harpoon shot that can impale you, and a close-range stab from his harpoon is bound to hurt! He's a bit slower than Aqua Joe, though, so be on the lookout for any fast enemies!

Aaaaaand that's all. We'll need coders and skinners, so I'll see if I can get Kacke to lend me his Joes. In the meantime, I'll be working on Gunner Joe's, Aqua Joe's and Harpoon Joe's skins.

Pikmin555 has agreed to help code, but if anyone else wants to, feel free to ask!

Ooooh, I've been working on a MM1 sniper joe of my own, complete with slow RoF but high speed snipe shot, shield built into the skin, and up to 8 grenades to throw! His shots and grenades also change colours depending on what team he's on.

If you want, I can hurry up and finish it for this mod!

I'm pretty sure ice already made a MM1 Sniper Joe, you should ask him if you can use it.
Either way, I hope this expansion is succesful, if you need help with any sprites or huds, just tell me. ;)

Quick update on Aqua Joe- he also used regular buster shots, so I guess he'll have those two attacks. He also has a shield, so...

But Protoman won't be in this mod (also isn't Break Man in YD's Classes also kinda the exact same class?), also the 01's took the least amount of hits to kill in the series next to the DOS3 ones.

This seems like a good idea. I'd like to lend a hand but, since there's no "reserving," I kinda don't know how to start it off. Maybe I can work on Hammer Joe first.

Yep, was thinking on implimenting a sort of Ride Armor idea for each of the Joes. It could be a drop from the respecive Joe:

Apache Joe = Apache Armor
Rider Joe = Rider Armor
Gunner Joe = Gunner Armor
Cannon Joe = Cannon Armor
Truck Joe = Truck Armor
Aqua Joe = Flying in water, ala YD BubbleMan class
Sniper Armor Joe = Item-4

or randomly from Eddie. Each of the Armors would make the Joe immune to damage, but the Armor can take damage off-side the fact that it's actual armor is much weaker. It would also last a maximum of 10-20 seconds before self-destrcting as a sort of a counter-balance.

That would certainly be very interesting, but maybe we could implement that later. Right now, I'm only focusing on getting the classes themselves done, and worrying about other things, like that, later.

Very intersting suggestion though! I'll keep it in mind.

Anyway, how do those rotations for Aqua Joe look? Sooner I hear about them, the sooner I can make the actual skin.

Swap the firing frames so the gun is up first. If you actually make it a charging class thats the frame you want used for the charging.

Its still a larger blast then any other Joe's, and most shoots come out during the second firing frame, so you want the buster forward during that frame.

I feel your pain, but cannot help because yeah.

Your Back/R's back needs to be less tilted to the right. You also have the shield facing us on the back shooting frames, but not the back/r shooting frames.

Also also, his left arm should be a bit more visible on the back/r somehow.

Whoo we've got progress

Ukiyama, being the total bro he is, coded Piraparee!... for the most part, anywho. He hasn't really fixed the whole 'not allowing you to get more weapons' thingy, and the class doesn't have an HUD yet, but it's fully functional. So yeah.

Took pictures of it, should be here soon.

As I mentioned before, no HUD, and the Piraparee skin pictured is simply temporary. This will most likely be our first completed class, unless any of my other coders mention otherwise. did Michael712 ever finish that Sniper Joe yet? >.<

Slight bump.

So, Trucker Joe is finished (for the most part, just needs an HUD). Piraparee is just getting a few kinks worked out, and... I don't know what's going on with anyone else. I only know Smashbro is a bit tied up with his CSCC class and Darkaura was hammering out an error with Hammer Joe oh me. Other than that, I'm in the dark.

Coldfusion? Michael712? Jax? Pikmin? Any progress to show?

Psst, btw Kackebango made a bunch of Joe skins according to the wiki, Apache is the only one of his set to private and no DL link for Crystal. So Cannon, Trucker, Hammer, Skeleton, Sniper Armor.

Once I get my Sniper Joe class finished off, I'll tweak it a bit for this version. I'll post screenshots later

One thing. What should his amour be for this? My class uses 1.6x amour to match the other classes. Sniper Joe Classic had 10 health, which is a lot for an enemy and more than most other joes. Should I set it to 1x amour for this mod? If we're keeping Megaman, I'd like to suggest 0.5x amour for him....

Uh... Whatever you think is best. I'm not really too sure about what the armors should be. 1x is probably best.

Keep in mind, Trucker Joe has .5 armor which makes him pretty hard to kill.

I don't even run that many expansions! I have three now, because one of them is outdated due to the GB Map Pack.

Stuff that I know was done was Hammer and Trucker. Other than that, I don't know what else has been finished.

hey okay, I was kind of unaware of this thread.
I've begun to work on Crystal Joe which was the last one on my long ago established Joe list, so I'm not sure why it says Open in the first post.

I've finished almost all of Harpoon Joe's and some of Gunner Joe's rotations. I still need to finish up Sniper Joe 01...
