Title: CSCRM pack (demo Release)

Don't worry the RM pack is almost done for original stage mode (and I have to build up the motivation to start mapping again)

Basicly, send in custom sprites for the RM or specify what sprites will be used as a place holder, be it from CSCC or something else and post what there attack pattern would be. If you want, you can also send in a boss room for that RM.

Only real rule for now is the robot has to represent you. And to follow this

I'll start this off

Name: Ice

attack type: Ice

Attacks:
Ice blade: a large spinning snowflake that breaks when it hits something
Ice Ball: A ball of ice that breaks once it hits the floor sending shards in directions, each shard becomes a spike on contact with the floor

Weakness: Fire

Movement pattern: Runs around at a slow pace shooting ice blades and occasionaly jumps at you tossing a ice ball below him

weapon dropped: Ice ball

attack type: Thunder

Attacks:
Lightning shot: a fast moving ripping ball of lightning
Lightning Wave: a ground hugging wall of lightning

Weakness: Earth

Movement pattern: Runs around rather fast and jumps around alot only stopping to  shoot a lightning shot, occasionally launching a lightning wave

Well, you could simply go look at either my class in the CSC thingy or the Solar Laser weapon that I made in my weapons topic. It's a fast yellow laser, exactly what it sounds like. Probably shoot off like a four or five shot burst for the RM.

Can't make it too fast though cause the Rm pack replicates the NES attacks or atleast as close as possible, the CSCC solar laser is WAY too fast to really be able to jump over in the games without getting hit

Since I suggested Boulder Man for CSCC I'll use someone else here.  I'm gonna use Nature Woman, the Lamia from my second set of RMs.
Name: Nature Woman (yes, I'm using a woman boss, sue me)

attack type: Nature? Is if that is a type

Attacks: Natural Force: Drops Leafs (literally Wood Man's), Hatchet Slashes (melee), Coiling (stuns both to hurt you 3 times for low damage each).

Weakness: Explosives (Hyper Bomb, Crash Bomber, Drill Bomb, Napalm Bomb, Ballad Cracker)

Movement pattern: Jumps around to use Natural Force with jumping at you every so often to slash you or coil you.

weapon dropped: Natural Force, which drops 4 leafs randomly around the user.  Placeholder can be leaf shield.

Placeholder skin - Wood Man
I can also make the boss arena.

Yep, main rule is the character has to be a robot, and the attack would have t be similar to something you'd see in a megaman game

Nope! Chuck Testa No classes involved at all, just basically a 3d megaman fangame more or less. Make your own RM that represents you, make a AI moveset, sprites and attacks, then optionally, a boss room. Or in other words, the Robotmaster pack, based on the cutstuff community

Hmmmm, not sure how I can get involved. My class for CSCC isn't actually quickman, but me in a special amour that gives me extra stats and purple aura fire attack thing. Since I'm not a robot....eh, might not work for this.

If I had the sprites for M-7 (CSWar2 character), I'd totally add him instead, as he's sort of a robot master.

Since I can't, I might go for the next best thing.

Name: Spark Drillman

attack type: Drill or Electric/spark depending on the attack. His electric attacks can go up to 30,000 volts.

Attacks: He can use his long drill arms to attack a close range, he can emit small close range sparks from them (like 4MI brightman), and he can dash forward with them in front, drilling into whoever his in the way. If he hits a wall, he gets stuck in there for about a second. He can also fire big sparks from his drills that split up upon contact with walls and players. He can also jam is drill arms into the ground/wall and emit sparks that travel across the ground. He can also fire an electric drill that will explode into big and small sparks in different directions. He can drill into the ground like Drillman, but this power is slower and more limited for him.

Weakness: Unknown until I can think of something for him.

Movement pattern: If at close range, he'll usually use his close range attacks. For about 2/3 of the time fighting him he'll be out the ground, running around or jumping, firing a few sparks or electric drills. Occasionally he'll dash strait forward at you, which you'll need to get right out the way for. When he's underground, he'll usually try to be unpredictable in where he goes.

weapon dropped: Spark drill (working on the name). Fires an electric drill that splits into multiple sparks.

And about the Solar Laser thing, you CAN dodge it in MMF, but the boss will only fire it 2 or 3 times at once, and you'll pretty much get hit if you don't know how to avoid it.

eeeh, noooot quiiiite creative enough. The character doesn't HAVE to be you if you don't have one but you could also use a RM you made.

Spark Drillman is a RM that I made actually. Not sure what other attacks he'd have, as he's meant to parody Spark Mandrill and Quick Air Man.

If I can get someone to make M-7 sprites then I could make a class for that. I'd love to do that, but it probably wouldn't be something that anyone would want to bother making.

Also I'd prefer M-7 as a class so y'know....

whoops, accidently slipped that extra C in there @_@

as for the "protip" That applies for all robot masters XD though Ice's AI is more simplified due to this being a demo

Holy crap that ceiling looks epic! :shock: But yeah, not sure if all those spike pits would work very well in a boss room as both you and the boss will end up falling into them

Thats how the boss fight would be in an actual fight with her. Also the map points I put in are for scripting her to jump to so she never falls in.
If they were in a game it certainly wouldn't be a 2D game but a 2.5D, in which she slipped and fell into the pits at defeat.  But for this to make her more challenging because she has low defenses and short range.

Welp, so far we have 2 out of 8 RMs done, so far we have a ice guy and a lightning guy, now all we need is an earth guy, a fire guy, someone that's weak to ice, and someone that's weak to lightning. After we get all 8, I'm releasing CSCRMv1a (toying with the idea of adding custom fortress bosses and if things go well enough and everyone has the motivation, whole stages)

Boilman would probably represent me in terms of how much I like that sword of his, but I don't have a skin for him and he's not my creation, so that's probably a no.

Here's what M-7 would most likely be like (That cutstuff war character I made (http://cutstuff.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3844&start=15)). He might be too powerful for this though.

Name: M-7 somewhat pun off Michael712

attack type: Physical and fire

Attacks: His hands float and they aren't connected to him, allowing him to throw them forwards at high speeds. When hit, the victim will usually be smashed against the wall (these are huge hands). He can punch with both hands at once, and sometimes doing other things with them such as smashing the floor or even strangling opponents (that probably wont happen here I take it). Sometimes he'll launch a swarm of purple fireballs out his hands, but he uses this as a surprise attack.

Weaknesses: Normal water attacks, as it works like powerful acid to him. Also sword stab to the body.

Movement pattern: Slowly moves around the arena, trying to punch you at somewhat annoying times. Occasionally he'll use one of his other attacks. Often he'll disappear, making him faster and unhittable (he can't attack though).

Weapon dropped: Hmmmm....think of a more powerful looking 2HKO break dash. I'm not certain yet.

Probably wont ever go in for that fact that he'll be too hard and I can't make a single sprite for him. *sigh*

I actually thought of making a minigame where you fight my Cutstuff war characters classic megaman style (Me and Spark Drillman being average difficulty, M-7 being hard and Fire crystal being insane), so I know how Spark Drillman and M-7 would fight in the NES games.

I would like to do something more with Spark Drillman though. Any ideas for any other attacks he could have?

Working on this:
Name: Buckshot Man

attack type: energy ("quick" in the code)

Attacks:
Plasma shotgun: Fires some plasma projectiles. Some of them may bounce off surfaces and split in smaller projectiles. It can be charged to fire faster.
Plasma grenade: It explodes. Watch out for plasma debris.

Weakness: Dunno yet, but he isn't too tough anyway.

Movement pattern:
- His basic attack is dashing into you and firing his plasma buckshot. (Sometimes he'll jump after dash but before fire)
- Sometimes he'll aim down and fire at the floor. You'll have time to see him aiming. Try to jump and don't worry about bouncing projectiles.
- When he tries to circle strafe and fire just do the same.
- If he charges his plasma shotgun he'll jump and fire 3 times.
- He'll jump high launch a plasma grenade. Good luck.

(Note: his accuracy may get unpredictable if you move too fast)

Welp, for the heck of it I might just go and add a story to this thing

Also making one thing clear, the robots you fight in this thing are NOT the real things and they are not evil *as far as i know*, so if you want, you could also add a hero character you made to this.

Basicly a scientist is building replica combat robots and he's holding a contest with a 100000 Zenny prize to see who can defeat all of his robots (and atm this is compatable with CSCC so you could end up having sparky fighting himself)

Attacks:
Fusion Bomb (Explosive (Ballade)) - xCFx stands on the ground and throws a Fusion Bomb at you. He can repeat this up to three times.
Lightning Bolt (Thunder) - xCFx flies up with his fusion jets and his hands start glowing yellow. Lightning bolts will randomly fall for a duration while he does this. His shield will also become powerful enough to block attacks for the duration of this attack. (He gains an effect like the Lightning Shield (Sonic series) while using this.)
Afterburner (Fire) - xCFx comes streaking down at you from his flying position. Attacks will bounce off of him while he does this.

xCFx will cycle through these attacks.

Weaknesses/Weapon Effects:
Dust/Junk - Debris from scrap-based attacks gets into xCFx's armor and deals extra damage. This is his true weakness, and he should flash and spark when hit by it.
All Electric - Electricity makes xCFx's armor malfunction, scrambling where he is in the pattern. It doesn't do extra damage, though.
All Wind - Heavy winds knock xCFx off course, throwing him around the room randomly. They don't do extra damage, though.

Missile Barrage - He fires five homing missiles that can be dodged by hiding behind one of the four columns in his lair. The player recives this weapon when victorious.
Shield - A shield surrounds him for a few seconds, and any attacks bounce off of him during this time.
Hyper Missiles - He shoots a slow but deadly exploding missile at you.
Shining Laser - A crosshair appears over the player and they must dodge immediently or they will suffer major damage!

Weakness: Eh, I dunno. I have a fear of thunder and lightning (only in real life, not on TV or video games), so any electric based attacks could be his weakness.

that one seems a bit too much for a NES megaman game as the attacks will basicly do around 10 to 30 damage, the rest of the attacks are fine though

I would say recolor Pharaoh Wave (the Class one) Red and Gold until I can make some sprites.

Hil Spread:Charges up and fires a shot that travels in three directions.
Teleport:He will teleport around the room.
Laser:He will fire a little green beam.
Soul Body:Much like Split Mushroom in X4, he will project a clone. Whenever a clone is destroyed, he will project another one. The clone will fire Lasers.

Pattern:He will jump around three times and fires his Hil Spread and a Laser. Right after that, he will run right at the player to catch them off-guard. After doing that starting from 2/3 health left, he will start flying and uses Teleport 4 times. Every time he reappears, he will fire a Laser. He will then repeat the pattern. Starting at 1/2 health left, he will use Soul Body to make the battle harder.

Name:Tenshi Hinanai

Attack type: Earth

Attacks:
-Sword Break: If you get too close to Tenshi, She will slash her sword, dealing 8 Damage.
-Weather Beam: Fires a beam that spreads Upward, Straight, and Diagonally upward, and if she isn't against a wall, Behind her Diagonally upward and Straight behind. Deals 3 Damage for each beam that hits.
-Keystone toss: Tenshi throws a small Keystone in an arc. Deals 5 damage if it hits.
-Scarlet Weather Rapture: When she gets to about 1/4 Health, she will jump up into the air and fire a Medium Sized Laser. The only area not hit is Under her and Above the Laser, which doesn't go higher than half way up the room. Deals 6 damage, and will continue doing Damage until you get out of it.

Weakness: Aqua

Movement pattern:
-Moves slowly around the Arena, Jumping sometimes
-After about 7-8 Seconds, she will use either Weather Beam or Keystone toss.

Weapon dropped: Sword of Hisouten, a Melee attack that deals high damage for the cost of Low Ammo.

Attacks:
faeik bullot: shoots a rain of bullets (wich stands 3 seconds)facing the player. can be easily dodged running in circles.
faeik caicle:
summons a motorcycle faeik man (like fakeman motorcycle) wich chases the player for 5 seconds, then crashes to a wall and explodes.
Pattern:shooting faeik bullot, chasing you by air(with a bunbi catcher),summoning 1 faeik caicle,then running to a corner and repeating(its not always the same corner).
Weakness:
Thunder, wich could return his bullets to himself.
Skin:
Any fakeman skin, more corrupted, better.
Weapon:
Bullet gunner
Same as ray splasher from MMX3, but instead of light, this shoots the same bullets as faeik man.
