This is a thread where people can tell us how or where they met another member. However, there is one rule, no saying how or where SOMEONE ELSE met another member.
i.e.: Someone else posts in this thread about how I met someone.
I'll start. I met several members via server and not Cutstuff.
Others I get to know via Cutstuff.
I had v2a when I first played on a server although v2c was already released that day. So I put v2c in my MM8BDM folder.

Two ways:
1) Before 8BDM came out, I was always checking the cutstuff blog looking at the posts and their comments. I remember seeing a few people there. Right now the only person I can remember is yellow devil, and maybe Cutmanmike.
2) After playing single player a lot in V1a, I did go online a few times. Wasn't really that involved or anything though. The main thing I remember is seeing KillerChair, and his name amused me. (I was starting out online so I was almost invisible to most, even back then I was never online much)

I remember seeing CutmanMike's name a few times a few years ago when I was lurking on the ZDoom fourms. I think it was when he made some large golem and giant squid boss things in Doom. And of course, ZPortal.

I went on the forums.
And then I went on Skype.
And then I knew everyone in the world.

Met some doods in the IRC chat first, and then here. Pretty much not too special for my opinion.

Started playing v1a in July before I learned it was outdated. Got v2a on accident, then got v2b. Got online, maybe, a week after. I was just kinda there for a while until I made some buddies. I think Lobsters and Fotelia were some of the first members I actually met. Throughout the course of almost a full year, I met Tengu, Proto, HD, Fyone, ect. I got Skype during the first Monday Night Madness. That's basically how I am today.

Became friends with tehangrymans, Alice, and Pikmin555.
Got Skype.
And then I knew everyone in the world.

And then the forums.
I still think I don't know people enough, though.
This is dying so it doesn't matter lolololol.

I met Brotoad, Zellough, and a few others on a xat that I used to manage.
As for others, I met them in-game on various versions, starting with the SGC demo.

This is going to sound a bit cheesy but I don't care.
I was actually told about MM8BDM by TGOT on roblox (Yes, I played roblox. No, I quit a few years back because it sucks horribly now. It used to be fun before everything just sorta died.) I downloaded Winrar the same day, and got MM8BDM V1A later on. I already had Skype at the time, so I just added TGOT to it and everyone else I Knew. So yeah, I've actually been around for awhile.

I joined after Mike had posted information on the old MMFF and Sprites Inc. forums (SI has a new forums, you all should really join them,) and joined shortly after and did Commando Man with some help by Press-Start and Brotoad (and that's also when I met them both!).
I knew Turbo way back in the old Skulltag hey-day before the community went into it's current state(that being right now absolute sh-). I met Korby when he used to be on MMFF actively (same goes to Musashi). I met some on other sites also, and I also met most of ya'll in game and through Skype.

So one day I had leftover Wii points and decided to get one of them classic megamanz cause I heard they were good and I bought most of them
Browse youtube, obtain information about stream of this neat new game, decided to go to it
There were a whole bunch of people there including this "Yellow Devil" dude who got banned from the chat
Made a counter of times the guy died, ice puns abound
Got the game which was new for me (We'd gotten nasty infections in the past, so I was cautious with what I downloaded)
All history from there So on so forth

My bro made me play this game a while back in the beta days.
Thats when i popped on the forum and saw the following people.
Cutmanmike, Yellow Devil, Crystal King, Ivory, Korby, Presstart, Brotoad, Squidgy, FuPoo, Brawlman, Blaze, CopShowGuy, Zellough, TrueTenguman, Mr. X and Bluebrawl.
Some really cool people joined shortly afterwards.

It took a really long time before I really even MET anyone.... If I were to name the first people I met it would be Ken, Sav, Muz, and If I remember correctly Bik or Stylin. I then got skype and everything changed... At least I'm still somehow managing to have a good time :]

Hoo boy, let's see if I can remember all of this right...
First person I ever remember getting to really know was Kenkoru after he invited me to a Skype Chat...from there, it was Sav (back when I was in Unfaded), Awb (back when he was Ob), Muzaru (before he died), and a couple of others...from there, I just met everyone that popped into the Skype chats I was randomly added in.
Skype is such a wonderful thing~

I first met members in game then the Cutstuff forums. I never got Skype until a year later and even then I never met any new members on there.

Found the game's v1a on youtube and played it offline. Soon found out that v1B was out at the time and got that. I wanted to play online so I connected to a vanilla server via the internal browser (CTF) and was told by someone there (Honestly can't remember who) that I should use the forums. Hence my MM8BDM adventures.

Met Korby a couple of nights ago randomly. Surprisingly enough he recognized me from the forums (which in most cases people don't recognize me, but I recognize them). Also saw Gumballtoid last night along with Airman_Tengu in Classes TLMS
Edit: Also saw SmashTheEchidna last night as well via his rock + my face = ...? Profit?

Well to tell the truth it's kind of hard to remember since this was so on about 3 years ago. i met about 2 people who talked about mm8bdm when i was in a game called "dinorun", one players name was "sageharpuia" i think. I was going to join the game but i didn't have the time. Then my cousin showed me he was playing it and later set me up last year.
