Welp, the idea's been toyed with multiple times, and I did start on something like this, so I just said screw it and go the whole mile.

Cutstuff pokemon classes, basicly you can choose any pokemon to reprisent you and choose 4 attacks, the gameplay will be somewhat based on he Mystery Dungeon series.
This is sort of like CSCC, so if you don't expect to do any work, don't expect the class to be added. At least put something towards it (skin, attack sprites, hud sprites)

The class's stats will be based on the pokemon's stats (abra, high speed, high damage paper defense). Also the classes will be slightly adjusted due to competative balance (Ratatta vs gyarados)

attacks:
Teleport: point at somewhere and click, works like mmx classes boomer kuwanger
Psychic: fires a strong psychic projectile
Shadowball: Fires a ghost damage projectile
ice punch: ice damage melee with a 10% chance of freezing

I'm toying around with turning the weapons in the game into TMs makeing you earn the attacks, but that would get complicated fast, theres also the PMD aspect (sticks, gravelrock, etc.). I will however turn the health into sitrus and oran berries and weapon energy into leppas

I can rip the sound effects for the attacks / cries from Black and White if needed. I can also make most of the skins, because now it's much faster to make them with Paint.net. I'll be entering Spiritomb:

Not really, though some of the stats will be nerfed to balance things more

attacks:

Ice Beam: Fires a straight beam forward, causing freezing the opponent for three seconds unless attacked, and if the target was already frozen, unfreezes them, but does more damage.

Psychic: Fires a strong large projectile forward (Similar to the mirror buster.)
Dual Chop: 2 weak melee slashes in succession. Like 2 Slash claws. (Trying to make this as easy as I can for you. :ugeek:)

Thunderbolt: Acts exactly like it's 8BDM counterpart.

Attacks:

Confusion - Works like Psychic, but is less powerful, but also uses less ammo and is faster.
Reflect - Barrier that soaks up Physical attacks, but not Special attacks.
Light Screen - Barrier that soaks up Special attacks, but not Physical attacks.
Morning Sun - Forces you to be in place, but also heals you.

Type: Bird/Normal (I dunno wat this does to change my class that much though)
Size: BIG
Speed: Slightly slower
Jump: Higher
Special abilities: Is less affected by gravity. If it lands on anyone they get crushed and will probably die, especially if you fall from a higher height, which may even create a quake or shockwave.
Skin: Missingno.

Attacks:
Water Gun: Shoots 3 water drops in the air that arc and drop onto the enemy player. Average damage.

Role: Quick Assassin

Fly: Hold the fire button to fly around. Release it to divebomb into the ground, dealing damage to anyone you hit.
Aerial Ace: The user turns into a homing missile, seeking out the closest target.
Close Combat: The user rapidly strikes the foe, dealing massive damage. Afterwards, the user is exhausted for a few seconds and takes increased damage.
Endurance: The user braces him or herself for incoming attack, giving the effects of the "Buddha" cheat (if possible) or simply increasing defense (if not). Has a long cooldown time between uses.

Role: HIDE, COWARDS! I AM GIANT! (Open area tank and nuker. Suffers in tight areas)
Attacks:
Body Slam - (See YD Woodman)
Water Spout - Launches water above him which falls around him. Gets stronger with more health.
Surf - GiantWaterWaveWep
Rest - Become immobile and restore health throughout.

Doability depends on whether I can make it have a larger hitbox for getting hit but a smaller one for getting around the map. Think I can do it, but you never know.

Also, I'm going to give this game more of the PMD feel, also scince I finnaly have tommorow off, I'm going to try to make a class base that everyone can edit from complete with different painstates

Will this be easy to use? Because I know jack about this kind of stuff, I can't understand tutorials or anything like that, if it proves to be too hard for me, could you make my class? I'd appreciate it. You don't HAVE to, of course.  :shock:

This seems like it should be an attack, not something related to your regular jump, that's just overpowered.

I don't see why a regular jump couldn't be an attack.
It's just pressing a different key.

It's mainly because of Missingno. being 3507.2 lbs. and 10ft tall, which....that's heavy. I have imagined that a real missingno. could probably use it's weight to attack. Also it can't move very fast, so like most slow melee characters, it'll have trouble attacking with this.

Oh and I had an idea. When players spawn, a pokeball appears and the player goes out of it and starts playing. Basically an intro for all players.

movement based attack = no ammo limit = infinite attack

also for the heck of it, scince this is cutstuffmon, feel free to edit what pokemon skin you use (like adding a tophat)

Wep 1 Main: Dig; Like Drillman, but slower and has no noise. Instead of rocks, damage is explosive from where he comes up.
Wep 1 Alt: Strength; Typical Melee attack
Wep 1 Ammo: Regenerates in about 10 seconds, only consumed while using dig. Gets 5 seconds of digging. Does not regen while Strength is being used.
Wep 2 Main: Earthquake; Like gamma's quake, but with less range and more damage. Maybe apply spark shock stunning.
Wep 2 Alt: Hydro Pump; Fires a stream of water, sinkman style, that deals heavy damage and knockback.
Wep 2 Ammo: EQ uses 1/4 ammo, Hydro pump drains a full bar in 3-4 seconds. Regenerates in 10 seconds.

I don't see this going far /pessimism

Electrode
1.5 speed
1.5 armour

Electro Ball: A fast traveling projectile with medium ROF and damage.
Light Screen: Mirror Buster.
Light Screen uses ammo fast. The bar regenerates quickly as well.

Rollout: Press fire and Electrode goes hurling forward. When he hits a wall or fire is pressed again he stops, if he hits an enemy he rebounds and begins rolling again.
Explosion : Kills self, but does impressive AOE damage (like a Hyper Bomb with less delay). Hopefully the explosion can count as -1 frags as well, so that you can't just roll round exploding everyone.
Neither uses ammo.

M2 - Roost: Hold down the button to slowly heal. You cannot move during this time, and attacks deal slightly more damage.

Alt: Head Smash: Charge forward killing everyone in your path. 50% of your opponent's HP is done as self-recoil damage, rounded down. Consumes all ammo.
Weapon 2: Stone Edge: Low-arc projectile. Low damage. Consumes 1/14th ammo.
Alt: Ancientpower: Summons rock projectiles in a circle spread out from the user. Has a 10% chance of boosting user's speed. Consumes 1/3 ammo.

Stone Edge being LOW damage? It's one of the sexiest moves in the game!

You might want to call it Rock Slide or something. Just a thought. ;)

Anyone want to help with this once the base class is done? Also, death animations will spawn a fainted pokemon sprite that stays for 5 seconds

also, any instagib ideas?...

Why not throw in a Rare Bone into this project?

SaviorSword: Zapdos

Has 2 bars for weapons and for flight.
Flyin' is slower than "walkin'". (A walkin' Zapdos? o.o)

Ability: Lightingrod- User takes next to no damage if struck by another Electric attack and increases the user's attack temporarily.

Item: Leftovers (Regeneration Rune)- Items would be best suited as pick-ups instead of startin' out with them. Other items could be like Life Orb, Leftovers, Lum Berry, Expert Belt, and what have ya onto the list.

Attack/Weapons:
Thunder: A strong bolt of thunder summoned from the skies to strike the enemy. Think KY's Elec Man alt. Uses 14 bars out of 28 and rate of fire is fairly slow. (Weapon 1 main)
Hidden Power (Ice): Several orbs of energy "explodes" from the user at moderate damage. Think YD's Spark Man's aimable alt. Uses 1 bar out of 28 and rate of fire is moderate. (Weapon 1 alt)
Heat Wave: A heavy wind of fire blows enemies away while inflictin' moderate to strong damage. User is immobilized while using this attack. Uses 7 bars out of 28 and rate of fire is slow. (Weapon 2 main)
Roost: Drains the entire flight bar and can only be used if the user is flyin' and the flight bar is at less than half full. User will land and be temporarily immobile while healin' and cannot attack. The user will heal half their health in the course of 2 seconds. (Weapon 2 alt)

Item replacements that I can think of are...
W-Tank- Lum Berry or Leppa Berry
E-Tank- Sitrus Berry
M-Tank- Leftovers
Bass Buster- Life Orb
Proto Buster- Expert Belt
Super Adaptor- Salac Berry
Rush Coil- Red Card
Rush Jet- Air Balloon
Tango Roll- Choice Scarf
Treble Sentry- Choice Band/Specs
Exit Unit- Eject Button

Some'em were a bit tricky to come up with.

I don't think that'll be necessary since not EVERY Pokemon has access to an OHKO move. Unless they all get Mimic and learn an OHKO like that...

Attack one: SandStorm: Lasts for 5 turns blinds the stadium and Steel,Rock, Ground Types will be damaged 1/16 of there maximum health weakness dig and increases evasion 25%
Attack two:Slash:is a huge slash claw and increases critical hit ratio.
Attack three.Poison Sting:Bullets of Poison Needles fired at you 30% chance of poisoning.
Attack four:Earthquake:Earthquake inflicts double damage if the target is in the underground (first turn) stage of Dig.

Oh crap I don't know how to do attack sprites and stuff.I can do skin but the others i don't know how.
Edit:Wait can I use a pokemon skin thats been created then the rest would be taken care of or would I need to do everything it says?

The thing about pokemon is that now pokemon is just crap.
They should of ended the show after misty left like seriously by now ash should be a pokemon master but they keep creating more and more pokemon and some of them are freakin RETARDED like come on that sucks right?

Gen 1 is the best Gen guys, look at how TOTALLY ORIGINAL they all look. It totally isn't a pokeball with eyeballs.

And continuing a show oriented mostly toward a younger audience and then stopping cause people they aren't aiming it at are too nostalgic makes a lot of sense.
