For some reason I can't connect to servers, when I try to join skulltag gives me this message:

It shows this even though I have everything it asks for. Whats wrong with the game?

Is Doomseeker configured to look in the folder where the files are kept?
Options menu -> Configure -> File paths.

uh maybe....no. i'll try that and see if it works.
Edit: ok now its only saying i'm missing doom 2. So at least it partially worked.

OK, you also have to point it to the folder with your IWAD (DooM2.wad).

Get Internet Doom Explorer, it's a whole lot simpler and it beats the crap out of DoomSeeker. File paths are a whole lot easier to configure, too.

Uh, i personally prefer Internet Doom Explorer (IDE), can save hosting settings, has alot of interesting abilities, though perhaps more then needed, and as long as you set the file paths, etc, what isnt too hard as is mentioned before, it should work fine and easily.
It might help if you keep your normal wads and your Iwads(like Doom) in the same folder, possibily. Aside that i'm no big expert on it, but i never had any trouble with it.

Because whenever I tried setting a file path DoomSeeker was a fucking whore and didn't detect ANYTHING
