Mafia X
So....we haven't had one of these Mafia games for awhile on Cutstuff have we? I figured that people got bored of Mafia, yet since we've had a break from it we'd probably be okay with starting another one.

I am aware that we have a queue for who hosts Mafia in what order, but that's not progressing right now and someone needs to step and and start another.
What's this Mafia based on?
No, it's not Megaman X. This is a clashup of many things, similar to Sora's mash up mafia but with a bit less sanity. You may or may not see why. The X was added in simply to make it sound better. (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/XMakesAnythingCool)
How do I play?
If you're asking this question I assume your new. Basically, there's a bunch of players, most of them are good people while some of them are a group of bad guys that want to eliminate everyone else. During the day phase, everyone has to vote who they think should be lynched. The aim here is to get rid of the mafia by working as a team and not killing friendly people. During the night phase however, the mafia will kill someone, as their aim is to get rid of all the good people. Each player is randomly given a character, role, and some abilities. Everyone has to use their abilities correctly to survive and help their team win. Hopefully these instructions are clear, most of you wont need them anyway.
Can I play?
As long as you aren't late in signing up, then yes. Just make a post saying something that clearly means you are trying to sign up and want to take part. Name colours are recommended so that I can make better obituaries.
Does this Mafia have a gimmick of some sort?
Not really. This is a classic mafia.
Rules:
-Votes will be done through EK's posting system, unless enough people rage and say that they want Korby's PM voting system. Make a post saying who you want to vote for.
-However, NO BANDWAGONING. Remember that mindlessly voting for someone that someone else voted for can be a terribad thing to do. Use strategy as much as possible, as that's the key to winning.
-KEEP IT FRIENDLY. By this I mean no voting for or killing someone for who they are. Just because you are killing people doesn't mean this isn't a friendly game. No hating on each other here. I'm serious about this rule.
-Day phases and night phases last 24 hours each. At about 5-6pm GMT time, I will sort out who died and stuff and move the time forward. (If this is a bad time then say. GMT timing makes this complicated)
-No trying to ruin the game
-Active abilities must be activated by PMing me when and how you want to use them. Passive abilities do not need this, as they are always activated.

This is the plot.
There was a big room (you can imagine what it looks like), and more and more people decided to walk into it for various reasons. After about 21 "characters" the doors somehow got locked and everyone was trapped. It turned out to be a trap. Some of these people wanted to night kill everyone else, but they decided to do it in a fun way. The good people decided to team up in order to save themselves and work out who was bad.
And already someone died.
The NPC died but it doesn't matter what that was.
--DAY 1, DAY PHASE--
The game has started. The mafia want to kill the others. It's voting time as to who should be killed (remember that non-biasness rule guys!).
GO!!!!
Okay here's the thing. I was busy today so I couldn't get back in time. If I stopped the votes today at 5PM GMT time (which is when it is and will always be for this) then it would be a 4 way tie between Sora, xColdxFusionx, A big teddy bear, and Donutyoshi with 2 votes each.
Rather than flipping a 4 sided coin like what other people would do, this mafia uses a tiebreaker system, in which the next person to quickly vote for one of those people breaks the tie and the person dies. But....the tiebreaker has already been done!
Kinda ashame though, Sora would have been useful to you townies.

You came into the room hoping for the greater good, but it turns out you are a potential victim. You have the power to light up the room during the night. Unfortunately, since you run on AA batteries, your endurance is very limited.
Active ability: Light up the room during the night. Can only be used twice throughout the game. When you do this, the mafia can either choose not to kill or kill with a risk of being seen and having clues given out.

....everyone's still alive. People were looking around, but then the reader said "Why didn't the mafia kill someone?". Someone else then found a sheet of A4 paper with "We couldn't figure out who to kill within the night because we were sleeping for most of it. But we will be killing in all the other nights to come!

Today's day phase will go on until 10PM GMT time. Today's night phase will finish at the normal time though.

Active ability: Calander reattempt. Redoes the previous day. Has a 5 day cooldown and cannot be done to reverse your own death. This is a very special power, but remember that it will alert most players and lead them into suspicion. Don't leave them to think you're a bad guy!

Active ability: Jump on someone's face and attack them. This lasts for one day or night phase and they can't do anything while being attacked. Has a 3 day cooldown.
Active ability 2: Croak. You vote for that day will be worth 3. Has a 4 day cooldown.
Doesn't seem to be going well for the townies, and it probably wont get better overnight....

You are a large question mark, and you don't know why you are here or why you are on the side of the townies. Your abilites involves complete randomness and may cause results that even you would never expect!
Active ability: Choose two people. You use a power of the first person and use it on the second person. Can be very risky but also very useful!
No one died. Though the mafia were wide awake the whole time, it seems as if their attack had failed.
Townies are slightly luckier today....

Also you have no legs so you hop around everywhere, you also hate everyone else because you're jeleous that they have legs and you don't. It's a really deep backstory. You aren't allowed to take part in the mafia though and the other townies want your help so you have to help them.
Active ability: Gun. 90% accuracy. Kills them. Only use this if you are sure that they are an enemy.

Active ability: Throw someone into the well. Each day I will roll a double dice, in which if I get 2 or 3 they climb out of the well. If someone covers the well with cement then they will be forever trapped. You can use this daily, but be careful, as everyone gets notified on the thread that the person got thrown into the well.

You are a crocodile. You came into the room looking for something to do. You don't like all the havoc though, so you are not joining either side. You also brought your pond along with you, as you like it and it will conveniently come useful.
Active ability: Counter snack. If you think someone in particular is out to kill you, prepare for them. If they do try to kill you, you will automatically attack and bite them, then drag them into your pond for you to eat.
Passive ability: If a slow or failed attack is aimed at you, you will be alerted. Very helpful for the above.

Times have moved on now, as you now decide to become part of the mafia. Yet again you take the form of the Link statue that appears when playing the Elegy of Emptiness. However, you still have the ability to haunt people with what they do in this game and throughout the game!
Active ability: Haunt. Whenever you do this to someone, they will become victim to scrabled text and strange messages until you die. This could scare them a lot and might end up being amusing to you! Has a 3 day cooldown before haunting someone else.
Active ability 2: Stalk. Follow their movements wherever they go, and gradually gain infomation about them at random. Can only stalk one person at a time.

You look like a generic puddle, but you are not! You are the sacred puddle in the room, and you therefore have an advantage that others would not expect. Since you are made of liquid however, you will evapourate, and if it wasn't for you being sacred you would do so a lot quicker.
Active ability: Data read. Scan someone and read everything about them! Has a 3 day cooldown.
Passive ability: Cannot be set on fire.
Passive inability: You evapourate and die after day 12, IF we manage to get there.
@Townies ATTENTION TOWNIES, THERE ARE ONLY 3 OF YOU LEFT. It has come to the point on Day 6 where there are now 3 players on each team, which really isn't good for the townies. It wont be long before you will be easily eliminated by night kills, so you really have to take action and stratisize for your survival! You have enough evidence by now to at least do some sort of strategy, and you really need to get to it.
Also, i'll be gone for a lot of tomorrow, so therefore the voting session will close 5PM GMT on Sunday, not Saturday. This will give you more time to discuss who should and shouldn't die.

Active ability: Rescue. Doing this will create a portal infront of you, which pulls in players who are trapped from things and in danger. Use this to bring safety to those who are wrongfully suffering.
Active ability 2: Cement block. Use cement to block the well. Whoever is in there will be forever trapped (use this to trap mafia members!) and no one can fall in there again.

Active ability: Stick two people together! When they are stuck, they will both suffer the same fate if one of them ends up suffering. The two that get stuck do however know that they have been stuck together. Also if one of them recieves a good fate such as returning to life, both of them return to life, so this may not work in your favour. Has a 5 day cooldown.
Passive inability: You expire after 10 days. After this time you die.

Someone that you met has offered you help and you can follow them if you wish, but it's entirely up to you. You are allowed to switch between Mafia, Townie, Independent or Other at any time. Your goal is to survive and get your memory back.
Active ability: Gun. Shoots someone of your choice but only has 35% accuracy. If you miss then there's a slight chance of killing someone else instead.
Passive ability: Cannot be killed during the day because you can run away from it. You can still be killed by votes though.

You are a Bidoof. You have joined hoping for something good to do, but you didn't know your life would be at big risk. Now that you do, you must use your powers to their best and hope for your survival.
Active ability: Throw ninjas. When used, 2-4 ninjas will enter the game. They will work almost as normal players, and therefore they can be killed. Their only ability is to vote for players during the day, which you decide who they vote for (PM me this). You can only throw more ninjas after 5 days.
Active ability 2: Use matches. Light them and try to throw them at someone, setting them on fire. While on fire they cannot do much, and everyone will know that they are on fire, leaving everyone else suspicious. However, there is a 60% chance that you will set yourself on fire instead of the target that you selected, so be careful with those matches!

And so the 2 remaining members of the mafia stood victorious. There was no one else left in the room apart from a weird oversized creature who kept playing the drum all day, but the mafia didn't care about him and he was still trapped in the jumpmaze. Let's look at who survived!
Mafia leader, aka the guy behind this whole thing the whole time and resulted in the death of 18 people and 5 NPCs.

Passive ability: When it comes to voting, you will always have 2 votes against you taken away.
Passive ability 2: Cannot be killed during the night.

You are Bongo Bongo, the Phantom Shadow Beast of the Shadow Temple. You are one of the most powerful creatures alive, but you'd rather not join the mafia group, as it doesn't seem to suit you very well. You aim to do your own thing and survive at the same time, which many would assume that this isn't a hard task for someone like you. You are also OP, however, this power that you have should be used very carefully as you may end up attracting attention when you least want it. Also, all your active abilities have a 2 day cooldown, in which you cannot attack each day. To make things slightly more fair on others, you can only attack on day 3 onwards.
Active ability: Punch someone. Instantly kills them.
Active ability 2: Raise your hand above someone and crush them into the ground. Instantly kills them.
Active ability 3: Grab someone and squeeze the life out of them. Kills them.
Passive ability: You have to be killed by having your eye attacked heavily. Fortunately for you, this eye will forever be closed unless your hands get attacked. If someone wants to kill you, they get the choice to attack either your hands or your eye. You are still vulnrable to votes however.
Passive inability: You need to attract the least amount of attention possible. Therefore, you can only vote up to 6 times throughout the game and only talk on the thread every 3 days (day 3, day 6 etc.)
