Island Survival
So what is this, you're probably asking. Well, it's a forum game where we have a group of 9 people (each with their own abilities similar to mafia) and they must survive.
So even more so than mafia, teamwork is important. As other people's abilities will help you survive in the wilderness.
Let's talk about the mechanics so people actually know what to do.
To start, you are all dumped on an empty island. And you must survive. Similar to Mafia, there will be Day and Night sessions. Though you can be active in the Night. These are mostly just to determine events that happen at certain days.
Now onto the fun stuff. How to not die.
First off, Food and Water are very important things. So you should get those.
So here we have our Hunger and Thirst Bar.
Each player has 10 spots in their hunger bar and 7 in their thirst bar. Certain actions will cause either bar to lower. And when one lowers, you're dead. Of course you can refill the bar by drinking/eating.
Then there's things like "Getting too wet." and stuff like that. Things like this are easily avoidable if you have shelter.
There's also other ways to die, but I think we might get to that later.
As for other things. There are also some items that you can make/find on the island. Due to the fact that besides certain events, the players basically do whatever they can to survive and it's basically free game, you can make items even if we don't have them planned. Of course you can't do anything crazy like make a gun out of some sticks. Gotta keep it kind of real.

Day 1
So everyone was having a grand ole time on a boat, when the Captain crashed into a giant rock with the words "YD" engraved on it. Needless to say, the boat started to sink. And only 9 people made it to some deserted island. Probably in the Atlantic cause why not. All that managed to survive was a few personal belongings. So yeah, live so you don't die. And hope you get rescued. Luckily for you, the weather is pretty sunny so you shouldn't have to worry about rain or anything.
So, I'm going to put down everyone's Hunger/Thirst Bar on the first post, and I will constantly be updating it as you guys post.
So without further ado, let's start this game.
Night 1
It was a pretty productive day. They got some tools, a makeshift shelter, found a water source.
Oh and their detective died.
Yeah...
Now the problem isn't surviving the night. It's "Do they have enough food/water to survive the night"?
Let's find out.
Night works a bit differently. Leaving the area is a bad idea as you will easily get lost, and it's cold and night and ow.

Yeah, not the best captain, but you're still pretty handy. Not only can you catch animals a little easier than most, but you also managed
to salvage your trusty Flare Gun from the crash! If you ever see a plane or a boat near the island, you can fire it and get rescue from the dreaded island!
Of course you don't have many other skills besides that...

Of course this is a good thing as you can chop down trees to give wood to your fellow comrades.
Chopping down a tree takes three posts to do. One to start, one in the middle, and one to finish. Though you cannot just post three times in a row, you have to at least have one other person to post inbetween. But chopping down one tree gives you enough wood for a shelther, and maybe even leftovers for a few tools.

Oh great, a killer ended up on the island? And you're that killer!
Since you can't go out and about killing people with other people around, you can only kill someone if you go out alone with someone.
Because of this, it's best not to go in groups, but don't act too suspicious. If you want to kill someone, PM me. The person will die shortly after. (Not exactly after cause that would be too easy) but remember, be careful where you kill someone. Also, you still need to stay alive, so you might want to be careful of killing the ones that help you survive.
As most people will probably want to know what kind of job you can do and you can't tell them that your a murderer, you're also kind of an explorer.
Enough so that you can find some fresh water if you put your mind to it, so if anyone asks. You're an explorer.

The mighty Hunter has arrived! You shoot things with things that you can shoot things with.
Sadly, you're gun was destroyed during the crash, so you don't have that. But if you could somehow get a Bow and Arrows you can take down any animal
to get some needed food.

There's a murderer among you.
You've been chasing him for quite a while, you almost got him when you crashed into the island. But now you're unsure who it really is.
Every day (Day and Night cycle) you can check one person to see if their the murderer or not, if they are, you better inform the world of their status. Though once their revealed there's the task of taking him down...

It's a damn good thing a chef showed up on the island. They need your cooking ability to stay alive longer!
If someone gives you some food you can cook it so it restores double the amount of the food bar is replenished. So you're quite important. Somehow, your portable oven survived the crash.

If you get the material, you can build tools such as Fishing Rods, bow and arrows, and stuff like that. You're mostly just need wood to keep this simple.
You can also build a makeshift shelter for your comrades with wood. So that's good too.
