WOW DR. FREEMAN! WHY ARE YOU MAKING A TOPIC SO CLOSE TO AFTER THE LAST ONE IS FINISHED?!?!

Because I'm doing things very unconventional. You'll understand shortly.

So this is a direct sequel to my last forum game, which actually has a story to it. But since things will be kinda different lets' go over some rules.

Sora arose from an empty table, looking at his left arm, and a new robotic hand that took the old one's place. Another man walked into the poorly made room, "It's a good thing I was able to get that to work." he muttered.
Sora smirked, "I guess I owe you one Llama."

The news report continued, "In other news scientists have recently noticed a strange portal around the planet Neptune. They are currently unsure on what it is, but they have people trying to investigate where it came from using wa-" the tv was shut off by a man standing in the center of the room. He faced the rest of the room, consisting of 7 people and 1 bear.

"So you see, I gathered you all here so we may find out what's on the other side of that portal." The man said.
Another man raised his hand, "No offense OJ but how do you expect us to get to freaking Neptune?"
OJ smirked, "I have my people. We have a proper ship which will arrive very soon."

HD looked at Lego in disbelief, "You mean you were hired to go into space, and find out what the hell is in that portal?"
Lego shrugged while packing a few bags, "Their offering a lot of money, and their supplying me with a proper ship and crew. I might as well accept the offer."
Someone knocked on the door, The Doc ran over to open it revealing six other people standing in the doorway, one of them walking forward.
"The ship will be coming shortly." he explained.

"I heard groups are going out to explore that portal thing..." Llama said.
Sora took a sip of his drink, "You want to go cause trouble up there?" he grinned.
"I was able to steal a working ship the other day, it's not much but it'll do."
"Very well, let's do it."


Game Objective: First, take your ship to Neptune, this will take 3 days (no night sessions) to accomplish. You might get into combat with other ships as the three groups are against each other. After that the people must trek a 1 or 2 day journey until they reach the portal. Good luck.

Current Objective: It's the Prologue. Interact with your group. If you're unsure what group you are in, please wait a moment for me to update the first post. The Location spoiler will reveal where you are, and what group you're in.

Everyone goes in their respective ship and takes off. It will take them 3 days to get to their destination.
Have fun in space, you might get into conflict with other ships but let's seeeee

Dark Aura is unable to make a scope. Because crafting isn't his forte (RNG!) Same for Travis except only with Widowmaker

Star Dood doesn't learn anything from the book. It might not help that the book was in latin.

The Ion Painter
As seen in Unreal Tournament 2003!

Converts the ship's attack system into an aerial strike unit. Use the handheld laser pointer device to "paint" a designated area, then sit back and watch the sparks fly. As it drains the ship's energy core, it can't be used while flying through space. It can also be used only once per day due to the time needed to re-route the attack system into a single beam blast.

Due to the slight speed boost Smash had added on to the ship, Lego's Ship reaches the destination before the other ships.

As they all look out the window, the group is greeted by a big warehouse sitting on one of Neptune's moons.

The Doc glanced over at Lego, "I'm guessing the portal is in there."
Lego nodded, "Star Dood, set up the teleporters."
Star Dood nodded and got to work at a computer.
Lego turned to the rest of the crew, "It would be wise to leave three people on the ship just in case one of the other ships attack. I'll let you decide who is staying."


LEGO'S SHIP HAS REACHED THE BASE! 3 PEOPLE MUST STAY ON THE SHIP WHILE 5 BEAM DOWN TO THE REALLY BIG WAREHOUSE THING!

It took 3 minutes and an extra post for Llama to post the dodge. Slingshots can fire extremely quickly, even faster with an aerodynamic blade. I daresay it should connect.

OJ shoots the knife towards Llama's head, but he sees the projectile coming. Watching on as his new "Body Guard" and Cold Fusion start shooting rockets at each other, Llama pulls out his gun and starts shooting in OJ's direction. Seeing this, OJ ducks behind boxes to avoid the bullets.
Seeing this as a prime time to attack, TGOT starts firing his nail gun towards Llama's direction, with a few nails grazing his skin.

Needless to say the nails are poison.

(If anyone is curious, I'm going by a 20 sided dice thing (like D&D) only with the RNG instead of a dice)

Without wasting a moment, Llama rushes towards OJ's hiding spot as the boxes start to fall apart due to the constant bullets Llama is shoots into them. As OJ starts to take new cover, he is hit by chunks of the breaking boxes.

Seeing this, Gumballtoid shoots an arrow at Llama's direction, also hitting him. While he's already poisoned so this does nothing, it is an arrow attacking him. Gumballtoid hides behind some more boxes.

OJ rushing by Gumballtoid kicks one of the boxes at Llama's head. While not causing damage, it does catch him off guard giving him the chance to rush at Llama with his sword. Though Llama is able to get out of the way.

Keeping up with this is difficult. I got like 7 ninja'd so please excuse me missing things.

To put it bluntly, it's not really going anywhere, they're just...firing rockets at each other's rockets.

(OJ, that's 2 damage cause decimal points for minor damage. Also he's already poisoned, so it doesn't really do much. Also crates with chunks of bullets)

Llama continues to fire at OJ, and is able to shoot him in the arm.

Nothing really happens, OJ just gets the fuck away from that lightsaber.
Cause lightsabers are cool.
OJ counters Sora with his sword, cutting across his left arm.

Llama fires at OJ again, this time hitting him in the chest (RNG is nice to you.) OJ falls to the ground, not dead but in pain.

Llama is beamed up to Smash's ship. Not the Mini Dungeon because Star Dood beamed him up through the ship's controls.

NOTE: GETTING BEAMED TO THE SHIP WILL START YOU BACK AT THE BACK OF THE WAREHOUSE!

With Llama gone, Sora takes out his gun and starts to fire at OJ, hitting the wounded man some more.
Bullets hurt. Keeping up with Ninjas hurt more.

Sora jumps out of nowhere, stabbing OJ in the back.
It hurt.
But swords break icicles and that's gone, but he's unable to hit Sora as he goes back into hiding.
Now with 100% less Spycicle.

Apparently, tko's aim could use work as the shot misses completely.
Sora also can't aim for crap when he's hiding. Huh.

Cold Fusion is able to shoot Llama in the chest with the laser. Ow. That kinda hurt.

Star Dood's potion will heal 3 health, as it's not as good as Nostalgia's potions

OJ misses horribly with his slingshot, what a shame.
Arrows also miss

Shotguns on the other hand, don't miss.

The portal is in sight now. GASP!

Out of nowhere, Sora attacks Cold Foosion with his sword, as he's still running it doesn't do a lot, but it does cut his arm.
tko runs ahead to save the day, but Cold Foosion already got attacked. ...also it's hard to attack in this running line.

Llama shoots OJ one last time before he beams out of the warehouse to his TIE Fighter. It wasn't the best, but it would help him live for now.

Both TGOT's and Gumballtoid's attacks fail. A Lot.

Everything started to come back, OJ lifted his head, he could hear birds chirping and waves, but he was in some sort of dirty run down building with no roof. He sat up and looked around, Where was he? Almost everyone was in this room, but they on the other side of the room was a thick layer of glass with a single door.
"What the hell was in that portal!?" OJ yelled, waking up everyone else in the room.
"It's simple really." a voice said as they heard footsteps, "You're on the island."
Travis rubbed his head, "What do you mean by the island?"
the voice chuckled, "Oh I'm sure some of you know exactly what I'm talking about...Captain Lego for example."
Lego's eyes widened, "The island we shipwrecked on?"
Another laugh, "Shipwrecked hints at it being an accident."
The Doc stood up, "What are you saying?!"
More footsteps, "What I'm saying is that you landing on the island was no accident at all." the man walked around the corner, "It was all for science."
Nostalgia.

"What the hell is going on?!" Galaxy yelled.
Nostalgia chuckled, "I guess you want your explanation. The island you are currently standing on as been a place where I've run my experiments for a few years now. These experiments have a simple premise. 'What happens if we put a variety of people on a deserted island?' Over this time I've gathered a diverse group of people, plopped them on this island and watched how they would cope." he slowly walked to the other side of the room, "Of course there were no survivors...until the latest experiment. I was wondering what would happen if I added a murderer to the group. The results were very interesting, but then that pilot arrived. The first group to get off successfully. Now I can't have my subjects running away from me, but there's no way I'm getting the survivors back on a boat or plane. So it was simple, make a portal."

Nostalgia landed in the warehouse, he had no clue why it was there, but it would prove his use. He reached into his ship and took out a large gun and fired at the other end. A portal was shot out of the canon and started floating there. Made to teleport anyone who entered to the island, and knock out those whose DNA are not picked up by the portal.

"With the portal there, the government noticed it, and I offered to take two search parties there. One for Lego, Doc, and the now departed HD to return them to the island. And another for OJ."

OJ piloted a ship over the island, somehow one of his troops and a bear jumped off. Shortly after he noticed and scouted through the island, noticing the headband saying "CS"

"We couldn't have you knowing people were on the island, so we had to take care of you as well. Nothing personal. The ship Llama stole was also placed out knowing either Sora or his partner would show up and take it."
Hilman piped up, "Why did you bring us into this mess?"
A shrill laugh came from Nostalgia, but was suddenly silenced, "It was to conduct a new experiment while I gathered my subjects. How would people react in a situation like this. I was surprised by the lack of bloodshed, but now I know that allies are made in situations like these."
Sora stood up taking out his gunblade as everyone else noticed they still had their weapons on them, "Enough of this bullshit! I got off this once, I'll get off of it again." he started to fire the gun portion at the glass, but nothing happened.
Nostalgia lightly chuckled, "Bullet proof glass."
Gumballtoid walked forward sword in hand, "Who needs bullets?"
With that he ran towards the door, but as he walked close, a triggering sound was heard as two guns from the walls shot him in the head, killing him instantly.

"There's pressure plates in front of the door that will set off those guns if anyone even gets close." Nostalgia started, "I can't take all the credit though, my accomplice can be blamed for that."
Without another word TGOT levitated into the room, "I hope you like my new trap. It makes sure that none of you will be escaping this room alive."
"Why not kill us before we awoke then?!" Dark Aura yelled.
"That wouldn't be very fun wouldn't it?" TGOT said as Nostalgia stepped forward.
"Besides, I wanted to see my subjects one last time."
Red removed a grenade from his bag, "Who cares! I'm sure this will take care of your glass!"
TGOT smiled, "It will. It will, but don't you need this?" he help up the detonator in his hands, finger over the button.

"Even if the grenade doesn't kill you, there's a poison running through Red's body. It will kill him in 20 minutes. I believe I can thank Gumball here for that present."
OJ's eyes widened as Cold Fusion stood up, "How would Red dying stop us."
Nostalgia laughed, "Why don't you ask OJ?"
The captain's lip quivered, "The bears...explode upon death. Much bigger than a grenade."

A helicopter could be heard from outside, "People will see this building as a set of ruins, if anything even remains standing. So don't worry about people finding it and thinking there's more to the place." TGOT said as he tossed the detonator to Nostalgia and hopped in the helicopter.
Nostalgia turned to the group one last time, "Remember, you were not the first time I've run this experiment, and you won't be the last. More people will be on this island, and we shall learn who dies first in harsh living conditions. I must tell you, this has been fun and you have been excellent test subjects." he jumped into the helicopter as it began to ascend over the room. Without looking back, Nostalgia hit the detonator. An explosion was heard behind him, followed by cards flying throughout the air and a smell that could only be described as bear crap.
"Game over."

PLOT TWIST DARK ENDING THING! WHOAAAA

I don't think this was as successful as the first game, but I still think it worked. Especially towards the end. Sadly, space battles didn't happen, so some abilities got screwed over, I still like the product though.

One final note for whoever starts up another one in a similar fashion to this.

Give us motives to blast each other above bottomless space, please. In this session there seemed to be too much risk and not enough reward for killing people over space to matter.

Not to mention when land finally arrives everyone has overpowered crap and it's not that enjoyable for people who didn't prepare beforehand because of all the nonaggression.

This is awkward to word.
I don't want it seem that I'm saying "BLEH IT'S COOL BECAUSE I WROTE IT AND HOW DARE ANYONE NOT LIKE SOMETHING I MADELKJAL;FSDKJF;LDSKJF" Because that's not what I'm trying to say.

But not every ending has to be a happy one. I personally enjoy making endings where the bad guy wins and plot twists. So it's kinda annoying when people are like "This game was great, until the ending because it wasn't a happy ending where everyone is dandy and is not dead."

Slight me whining about other people's opinions, but whatever.

Having the bad guy win once in a while is fun, but not when people are actively competing. You win and you're excited to see what happens after your victory and then oh wait everyone dies anyways  :geek:

Freeman should totally write an alternate ending where everyone is teleported to Pyroland and the people who died teleport with us and get revived
and we all have fun and stuff
and it was all Freeman's dream, and then he writes it down in a dream journal/idea book and then gets Nos and I to do something

This ending should be less like "slmegjsgnrdjt everyone died the end"
and more like
"oh no some people done dead but we'll find a way out of this mess" and then they escape and try to find the villains and possibly trap them.
They could take new aliases, knock on Nos and I's door and a rabid Ken comes out and eats everyone the people invite Nos and I for something
and it turns out to be a trap and we die and everyone else is happy

and then my magic/technological powers revive me but then go poof so something happens and yeah
