Title: CutStuff Zombies: Hiatus + Revival = Confusion
Post by: Colonel ServBot on November 29, 2012, 01:33:20 AM
well, with Ivory's permission. I now grant to you...
a new game coming up.
CUTSTUFF ZOMBIES!

Cutstuff forums is being attacked by a zombie plague!
(using the RPG maker XP.)
and only colonel servbot(me) and the survivors(possibly you) can save cutstuff from the zombies!
but, first. i need people to request 2 be in the game, you can either be zombie, or survivor.
so, request!
what do U want to look like?
what do U want to be?
its (almost) all up to U!(not even)
horrible, like a wiiU commercial!

PROGRESS

Character Designs
65 percent finished (i have a general idea for DataMan)

Maps
2 percent finished (I have finished the first area, it is rather small though.)

Spriting
2-3 percent finished

Story Line
99 percent finished (I think.... O-O. i need to write it down some where in case i get amnesia....)

Misc.
10 percent finished

so far, the characters

(click to show/hide)

SPRITE MANAGEMENT
we are in urgent need of tiles and walking frames, but you can help with whatever you want
(click to show/hide)

(click to show/hide)

(click to show/hide)

ITEM DESIGN
here, we design weapons/usable items.
(click to show/hide)

EXTRA SHTUFF
okay, so, i am getting many more ideas and every thing done. I plan to release the game by next year halloween. if its not, read this message again. but, during the summer i can work on it nonstop. just last night i was up till 4:30 something working with ideas.

if you wish to be in the game, dont be JUST a mega man char/something un-original. probably make it based off of your avatar, or something dealing with your name. this is a cutstuff zombie game, not a mega man vs. marvel zombies 12 part comic book that will rape your eyes with golden megamans every where.

PREVIEWZZZZ

zombies wont look like this, just me toying with the battle configurations

sprite sheet! leo's next to die!
also, feedback would be nice.

The most important question people should ask about games with zombies:

ARE THERE ZOMBIES WITH GUNS IN THIS GAME? :D
Title: Re: CutStuff Zombies. Request now!
Post by: Colonel ServBot on November 29, 2012, 01:39:56 AM
possibly. if the ZOMBIE ARE AWESOME ENOUGH.
(but they're from cutstuff, so all of them are awesome)

I don't quite understand.  Is this a left 4 dead style thing, or more of the tf2 style where all the classes got zombified and went apeshit on coaltown?
Title: Re: CutStuff Zombies. Request now!
Post by: Colonel ServBot on November 29, 2012, 02:07:53 AM
no, tis a role playing game.

So, it's a forum game?  I'm confused.
Title: Re: CutStuff Zombies. Request now!
Post by: Colonel ServBot on November 29, 2012, 02:21:13 AM
no. its a game that uses the OHRRPGCE engine!

Alright, I think I get it.  Give me a bit, and I might make a picture of what I want to be for you.

This seems awesome. Cutstuff Walking Dead maybe? AHAHAHAHAHAHA-no.

This still looks awesome. I'd be the gun specialist who works at a gun store who gives the guns to people for free. However, ray guns and other stuff like the Thundergun cost 10000 Nuka-Cola caps. Sorry. ^_^"

Keep up the good work, you'll make me proud c:

Just make me swear a lot.
And a cigar wouldn't be too much to ask.

The only problem I really see with this is that OHR-whatever the rest of it is. Seems pretty difficult to work with, and you'll need some experience to make a full game out of it.

And the fact that you seem to use internet slang (can't think of the correct phase. But stuff like "I'm going 2 da place" or something like that) seems to be a problem because it generally doesn't attract people when the dialogue looks messy like that.
Title: Re: CutStuff Zombies. Request now!
Post by: Thunderono on November 30, 2012, 09:41:50 PM
Yeah, I've sort of been thinking the same thing.  Usually that kind of thing goes down the drain when a project is being done, though.

OK, I was just wondering.

I still don't really see this idea going anywhere, but I guess we'll find out.
Title: Re: CutStuff Zombies. Request now!
Post by: Colonel ServBot on November 30, 2012, 10:30:24 PM
well, first, we need a number of user characters/user created characters in order to do this.
Title: Why people seek fame as their goal in life is beyond me.
Post by: Myroc on November 30, 2012, 11:16:30 PM
Personally, a RPG based on cutstuff members seems like an ordeal that should be handled by at least several people, not just a single person with dreams of glory, especially one who is relatively new to the forum.

Hell, I've worked with OHRRPGCE before Brotoad made Mega Man Sprite Game, and have myself entertained the notion of making an RPG based on cutstuff, yet I would not dare start on one because all the work that would be required (particularly things that are beyond my skillset, such as decent spriting) would just be too immense for me to handle on my own. I'm sorry to come off as rather rude, but I doubt you will be able to pull it off successfully either.

Besides, if my suspicions are correct, the reason behind this project is mostly a grab for "internet/forum fame", which is a terrible reason.
Title: Re: CutStuff Zombies. Request now!

Well Game Maker is kinda easy if you went with the basic DnD stuff and logic.

But if you wanted to play advanced and hardcore like me. Than that's what GML is for.

Also would you mind if I help you with programming and sprites?

yes, i know. im thinking about getting the trial version. but im not sure it will give me all the same options the full version has. such as distributing the game out as an .EXE file.

and to anyone, you are WAY more than welcome to help with any production/spriting/progamming/crap if you wish.

Title: Re: CutStuff Zombies. thank god there are no ninjas!
Post by: Colonel ServBot on December 09, 2012, 02:08:59 PM
well, not the ACTUAL painted easter eggs. but hidden secrets, oh YEAH! well, there is a hidden area, ingame. where you can go in(by only finding a skeleton key) and then unlocking the door. going inside and witnessing what happens is actually...surprising. plus, only one person (who is helping with developement) knows whats happening on there. so there yall have that.
im gonna make another few sections for the main post.

The trial shouldn't really restrict you with features. It's just a 30 day timelimit until you actually buy it
or pirate it, which I really shouldn't be encouraging.

Quote from: "Myroc"
Personally, a RPG based on cutstuff members seems like an ordeal that should be handled by at least several people, not just a single person with dreams of glory, especially one who is relatively new to the forum.

Hell, I've worked with OHRRPGCE before Brotoad made Mega Man Sprite Game, and have myself entertained the notion of making an RPG based on cutstuff, yet I would not dare start on one because all the work that would be required (particularly things that are beyond my skillset, such as decent spriting) would just be too immense for me to handle on my own.
I haven't visited this topic ONCE due to the reasons Myroc just listed, but now that my curiosity has finally gotten the better of me I am going to respond to this message in an extremely delayed and late fashion.

I decided to do a little research on OHRRPGCE, and while it's free (which is always a very nice thing) it's also a pretty advanced piece of software. An engine like RPG Maker would probably be easier to use; however, it costs MONEY which is probably something you don't want to use. If you can pull off this project then great, more power to you, but I'm saying that by yourself it's going to be a pretty tough uphill battle and you might end up crying and ragequit before the game's even half done.

Good luck and everything, but just saying. Personally I'd work more on the core game instead of conceptualizing all these add-ons and secrets and whatever else.

Also, COMPLETELY off-topic, but THIS... oh man, THISSSSSS

The only problem I really see with this is that OHR-whatever the rest of it is. Seems pretty difficult to work with, and you'll need some experience to make a full game out of it.

And the fact that you seem to use internet slang (can't think of the correct phase. But stuff like "I'm going 2 da place" or something like that) seems to be a problem because it generally doesn't attract people when the dialogue looks messy like that.
actually, i only use that on forums and message boards

RPG Maker XP
okay I really didn't want to post again in such a short time frame but

In my (completely biased) opinion I really don't like RPG Maker XP. It's probably my least-favorite, and instead of specifically bashing on XP I thought I'd give a quick noob introduction to the main series of software.

RPG Maker 2000 and RPG Maker 2003 aren't available in English officially, but if you download the Japanese versions you can then get a fan-translated patch for the programs. 2000 and 2003 are certainly dated, with more recent versions surpassing them in nearly every regard, but I still find both 2000 and 2003 easy and great to use. Personally, I always preferred the simple 16-bit SNES graphical style, and the side-view ATB battle system in 2003 is nice because it's native and you don't have to use a plugin through Ruby Script. Note that you're restricted to using MIDI format music and WAV sound effects in both engines; starting with XP, the option to use MP3 files for music was made available.

RPG Maker XP was the first version to be released in English through Enterbrain, and it was optimized for Windows XP computers. Now, don't get me wrong, there are a lot of improvements in this version, but there are also several gripes I have with XP, the most major being the battle style. This is the only RPG Maker in the series to use full-body front pictures for both the enemies AND the player characters. Personally I like how every other RPG Maker uses a stylized face portrait and I wasn't a huge fan of the XP full-body style. Oh yeah, and since the battle doesn't use face portraits you also can't use them in THE REST OF THE GAME. I like putting face icons next to dialogue to make it look nice, and lacking a feature like this completely made it a personal turn-off. I've seen users who enjoy XP and even prefer it over VX / 2000 / 2K3 but PERSONALLY I don't care for it. I'm not saying it's bad, and I'm not saying YOU will hate it, but to me it was probably the weakest entry in the series.

RPG Maker VX is probably the opposite from how I described XP; personally I get a kick out of it, but the general consensus is that it was pretty bad, and as such it gets a lot of flak. While VX expanded on the database properties to give users more flexibility with things like status conditions, weapon and armor properties, and special moves, it's not without its flaws, which mostly center around player character customization. Namely, the ability to use classes and skill trees (which was introduced in 2003 and improved on in XP) is seemingly missing; every character MUST be programmed separately. Note that XP also uses a vastly different graphical style from 2000, 2K3, or XP. The enemies and environments are much more gritty and realistic instead of the cute anime-ish style seen in previous titles. I suppose it doesn't really matter as you're apparently doing all the graphics yourself, but it's still worth mentioning.

The latest entry to Enterbrain's software lineup, RPG Maker VX Ace, is in my opinion the best yet. To loosely paraphrase Enterbrain's website description, it takes the XP and VX engines, combines the best features while leaving out the crap, and adds a lot of really cool features like a dynamic character builder tool and an impressive catalogue of ready-built example maps to draw inspiration from. VX Ace also emphasizes a new feature called Parameters. In previous RPG Maker titles, things like elemental resistances, damage multipliers, passive stat boosts from equipment, and special combo attacks were determined by entering values in pre-existing boxes. In VX Ace however, there are very few "native" windows; instead, most attributes are assigned to attacks/spells/items/whatever by attaching Parameters. Of course, you can still follow the RPG conventions of making a sword give +4 ATK when equipped, or a player healing 20 HP by consuming a piece of bread, but you can also use Parameters to blend all sorts of freaky-weird shit with your game. For example, you could make the sword give a bonus +2 ATK to male characters but decrease their speed, or you could make that bread give you immunity to paralysis for three turns. With previous versions of RPG Maker these things would be impossible; the sword would always give +6 ATK and low speed to everyone regardless of gender, or you'd have to make females never equip that sword; the bread would simply heal paralysis, or make you immune to paralysis for the whole battle. Using Parameters gives your game an extra advantage of fine-tuning a specific aspect to behave exactly how you want it.

With all that wonderful Parameter talk in mind, VX Ace is still very user-friendly but also has a more advanced user base in mind. I still highly recommend VX Ace and honestly consider it the best RPG Maker that Enterbrain has ever made, but since you're a beginner I'd recommend 2000, XP, or VX instead. 2000 and XP in particular are very easy to pick up and learn, and I suggest you pick the engine you prefer even if I say otherwise (because I still hate XP so hard).

Post by: BiscuitSlash on December 13, 2012, 07:01:00 PM
I was thinking about trying out one of the RPG makers, but I got completely turned off by what seems like a lack of customizable battle system in terms of 1st and 3rd person. All the pictures and descriptions and stuff that I saw seems like it could only be turn based 1st person unless you do magic/science/magicalscience with scripting. OHRRPGCE would be more suited to me simply for that reason, even if it's timed based.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but yeah, that's why I'd rather stay away from RPG maker. I'm not saying that colonel servbot should stay away from it as well though.

The screen will say something like "GAME OVER" or "TRY AGAIN", possibly written in red.

The background has a gravestone with a zombie hand sticking out, but recently, I was thinking of multiple of that.

and im sorry you cant take me seriously, especially knowing that i've put countless days and hours of doing concept art and writing out a freaking story and plot line for this game. so if you people want this game to come out, i suggest you stop doubting me and actually look on the fricking bright side. and so what if it comes out a month after you wished it to. this game will be released. i dont know when, bit I KNOW IT WILL. and i do have a clue on what im doing thank you, thank you so very fricking much.

well, as you can possibly see, every one dislikes my art. but, i made it crappy on purpose. because these drawings will be easter eggs in the game itself. along with colonel saying 'dude, who does this crap?' or he ends up questioning a picture of himself. and possibly, there may be writing on walls.
oh, here's a fun fact. resident evil originally came up with the idea of writings all over the walls. later on, the valve crew, who made L4D, most likely tookthis idea.

yes, even i was going to vote no, as a joke. but then i rea;ized that i probably shouldnt have. so i didnt. plus. i will also include a few Shocking hidden bosses.  such as an undead --- wait, i cant say it now! and look out for some paintings you might find on walls.
i've done quite some drawings on the bosses. and i will not share it with any one until either you beat the game. or you've been helping with production and you've already witnessed it.

I'm sorry, but I really just pity you. I'm only giving you the RPG Maker, and that's all I really would do for you.

I'm not really part of the staff anyways. I already got a clawful projects on my mind I rather just spend time on than this.

No it's just you were acting too ambitious from the start, it's better if you didn't go all that until you already got a handful done. Kinda like on how CALL TO ACTION was, but yet to get it actually started seems like an illusion.

Could be wrong, since both are getting started with an engine, but the question is. Can both projects handle it?

Question: What kind of battle system do you intend to use for this game?

If you want to use a special battle system, you may look for the scripts. Unfortunately, I don't know a good one. Sorry.

Okay guys.  There's a difference between constructive criticism and just plain tearing it down.  We're in what I like to call "The Brainstorming stage".  You can't make bloody game without knowing what's in it!  What're you getting out of trying to get rid of this idea?  Just saying.

dude. the concept art is SUPPOSED to be bad. most likely because im putting it in the game with the survivor's talking crap about the artwork. i said this a million times. and plus. in a fricking apocalypse, who would litterally take their time drawing?

easy just make classes just exclusively to each character.

You can add classes and all.

OK, this may have been a little to complicated for you.
The current avatar I have NOW is me. My name WILL be VirusNinja, I'm not a zombie, I'm playable and I can give guns to others at certain times, I have the power of the Darkness, and all that stuff. I don't need to be drawn pixelated for pencil work, just draw me like a human with dark powers and most of the accesories I have. c:

Hopefully this clears up everything.

Yes, you use an audio editing software like Audacity and use that remove part of the end of the song and it shortens it.

Unless that's not what you mean.

Quite a bit.
Got the Main intro done, well, as in the story line.
I'm still working with custom tile sets and stuff.
The only real thing I'm having trouble with is the walking sprites for the characters

Title: Re: CutStuff Zombies. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Post by: Colonel ServBot on March 12, 2013, 06:41:14 AM
Ok guys...
Here's a bit of an update. Well, since I have school, development has been a little on and off recently, meaning, that I don't usually have a lot of time to keep making this game. But this doesn't mean that this game is cancelled. It's not. So further development will be delayed until summer comes. But that doesn't mean that a little spriting  here and there can't be possible.
But here's a bit of a review of what's to come, and things that will make this game different from most of the games made by RPG maker or zombie games

1. Full Battle Animations
Unlike some games, this will have FULL animations for attacks and stuff! So if colonel throws a punch in battle, you'll be able to see it all!

2. Many Zombie Graphics
One thing about zombie games that really annoy me are the lack of in game zombie models. Like in the original dead rising, all the zombie cops look the same and I could go against a horde of these clones! but not in this game! There'll be about a whole load of In game models. And not just re colours either. We mean full custom sprites to the MAXIMUM!

3. Ingame Text Inspired Through Forum Posts and Stuff.
Well, this is CutStuff, isn't it? So what you post could end up being referenced in game! How cool could that be?! Even some of your locations! Such as, if my location is something like a catch phrase, it could be said in game or something.

4. A Vast World to Explore
One thing I love about some RPGs is that they can be so huge, like large vast worlds and stuff! CutStuff will be filled with huge loads of buildings and stuff! And most of them will allow you to go inside and look around!

5. Secrets Galore!
Well, after all, this IS a game made by ME, so expect loads of references, secrets, music, hidden maps, and cameos by a whole load of stuff!

7. Unique Spriting
Over 98% of the sprites ingame are, or going to be CUSTOM,and so far, they are all made by me!

8. Secret Endings!
Yep, that's right. There'll be about a minimum of three endings. One good, and two kinda bad.

9. Fully Interactive Environment
One thing I find great about all the RPGs I play are how I can interact with anything and everything! So almost every living person you find you'll be able to interact with!

10. Ingame Tutorials.... In A Library!
Sure, important stuff like how to move, and what button to press will be represented ingame at the beginning, but in this game, you might have to buy some knowledge! There'll be a library, which contains loads of books and stuff. But you'll be able to buy, and sell books at the library. But, when you buy a book, it'll be in your inventory! So you can read it when ever you want! Bt books may come with battle tips, and even some tips on how to get secrets unlocked!

11. Only Four...?
As sad as that sounds, only there'll only be four playable characters by the end of the game( excluding Thunder Electros, since he gets infected and crap, but he'll be in the game) but this doesn't mean you can be playable in a different part of the game. But I will say that Colonel (who is unlocked at the beginning of the game due to him being the main protagonist) and LeoAlex( who is playable at the start of the apocalypse) are playable ingame.

12. Alternate Difficulties?
Yep, most likely, when you beat the game with the best ending, you can start the apocalypse all over again with your choice of the default difficulty, or the Armageddon difficulty. But this is most likely an idea, don't get your hopes up,

13. Healing Items... Are EVERY WHERE!
That's true, every little speck of food you find can be used as health! So whether it be a can of soda, or a whole pizza that you can share with your entire team, you can heal yourself!

14. Nice Tunes!
Every song ingame could either be played by your favorite band, or just some Joe Shmoe you don't even know!(hey look, I made a rhyme, heheh.) some planned songs are some from Anamanaguchi, HollyWood Undead, Your Favorite Martian, Hideki Okugawa(the guy who composed most of the themes in dead rising), Life Seeker, and Denbaron!

15. What! Such a lack of blood! ĦEs Un Robo!
Yes, blood from the undead will now be spilt unless they get hit with either blades, or guns. but blood will be visible on the sidewalk, and a whole load of etc..

16. Wait, You Guys Aren't Serious!?
Nope, this isn't meant to be such a serious game. So not much drama will be going on. Most of the drama will come from Alex's Backstory.

17. Wait, You Can Get Weapons...MADE?
True story, later on in the game, if you fulfill the requirements and tasks, a garage will open up. Which means, if you have enough money, blue prints, and the parts, you can get it made!

18. Uh, Where Do I Go...?
That's right. You won't know where to go or what to do until you actually get on with the story line! As difficult as this may sound, we'll be sure to steer you into te right direction! It's going to be like in real life, you'd have no idea what to do in a real apocalypse, so why should we!?

19. Hey, why doesn't this appear?
Most weapons ingame that you receive from bosses will be granted to colonel, so that means when you try to equip it onto another character, it won't even show up on their inventory!

20. Who is that guy?
Oh, you mean that one kid you won't be able to interact with that watches you through windows, yeah, you'll have no idea why were putting that in there.

21. Insanely Difficult Boss Battles.
It's your idiot fault for wanting to fight the guy with the chainsaw, so you can do it.
Hint, try using skills you learn. It helps.

22. What do you mean no weapons!
Colonel ServBot is literally the only ingame character who doesn't get any weapons of his own. Although he can use some weapons from other bosses, he uses his bare fists! And by level 99, colonel will be an unstoppable menace to the undead!

23. Hidden KeyBlades.
That's LeoAlexs way of upgrading weapons. Key blades are either found laying around in the darnedest of places, or won from battles!

24. Out With The Old
Don't listen to the previous posts that I put up. Those aren't as updated, so those who are playable or not have changed. That's why I deleted the parts of the character descriptions saying whether somebody is playable.

We're still open to any suggestions you guys want to give!
Plus, it's not too late to want to be in! So sign up!
And please people, if your going to sign up to be in the game, please PM me the form.

A remix of what?

Also, since nobody really has competed in the title screen contest(except for one person), I guess I'll just make it myself. But this time i know how I should make it.
Also, lets talk battle sprites.
Yes, I've only completed colonels standing sprite, and 99% of his punching animation.
I think the battle sprites will be the easiest to make. Well, at least for colonel.

Also, every body will have their own special move set.
How cool is that?! Not really

Also, I'm trying to figure out a way so people can enter cheat codes in, but this seems difficult.

Welp, allow me to revive this thread.
first off, i have most of the story line written. it deep down in my memory banks.
Also, coding the game shouldn't take too long, but, yet again, it's going to be a huge game. also, if you guys are lucky enough, i might put up a Demo within the next few weeks. Also, Me, Hilman, LeoAlex, and a whole lot more of us CutStuffians are working hard. just for this game. also, i have plans to release it on Halloween next year, y'know, cause its 'spooky'. also, expect a few jumpscares.it sure has been a while since i updated this thread. whew....
anyway, i've been procrastinating as usual but i'll see if i can break out of this habit. also, i've been drawing loads of concept art. Both, Colonel/the gang will have unlockable and craftable weapons.
Also, I've been playing both Zombie Games, and RPG's, and seing what makes them so great. and grabbing my knowledge about badassary and fitting it into this game. and no, this won't be a copy/pasting of all of them, just SOME Similarities. and yes, there'll be a shit-load of references, but hey, it'll be cool.  Also, i haven't come up with more bosses/zombies recently. and, leoalex just went through a SIXTH Minor edit. welp, back to spriting.

I guess I could fit as some sort of Technician expert/Support-type character, or just as a survivor who deals tech. Also I can help with sprites.
also I should look something like this

okay, i am going to start drawing new character art, to replace the horribad art work for every body on the first page, also, i will be updating the first page in a few minutes with our new Technology Store Clerk/Tech Dealer... DATAMAN! Hooray.
also, Data, i'm really glad you said something about being a tech dealer, i was thinking about having a "garage" just deal with the technology. also, i guess you CAN be a character in the main group before the end of the game. and data, with the sprites you might want to help with, let me just Finish LeoAlex's and create a template so you know what style the sprites are in. also, the first map is really near finishing. i just have to resprite the wall tiles and add a few more actors and there we go. then its on to the ENTIRE CUTSTUFF (don't forget the other houses in all of the cutstuff.).... oh god. thats what's gonna take long. hmm...

Dataman should either be unlocked when you beat a specific boss, or as an Optional unlock if you buy one of every item in the Gadget shop he runs.

the former would probably be easier, since you wouldn't have to make any sort of different dialogue in cutscenes after him being unlocked and stuff like that. not sure who could run the Gadget/Tech shop after Dataman being unlocked though. Probably either one of my other Custom RM's or a HoloGram of Dataman.

I have no idea what your talking about, please speak english.
ANYWAYS, Thunder, you're only going to be an elec man for five minutes. so yeah. plus, i've edited the design abit to make you look a bit less of an elec-man clone. also, i think DataMan is a rather original idea. in his first idea, he had no limbs (which it still cool in my opinion). also, DataMan is a support character. and we don't have too many of those.

Well well well, Back from the  grave, are we?
Anyway, we've got THREE new characters! (Including DataMan)
Which I'm about to read off! From Left to Right!
Firstt off...
Zachary:
A local and successful butcher in CutStuff, Not much else is about him, well, except the fact that the blood on his apron isn't actually from the zombies, its from his job. His preferred weapon is a cleaver duct-taped to a Lead Pipe! He also has a small hatred for Colonel ServBot and Zombies, I wonder why...

Next is...
DataMan:
DataMan is a NetNavi Robot that owns a shop that sells Chips! No, not the kind you eat, Computer Chips! He is an energetic robot that loves anything to do with Computers! He's a professional computer specialist that can do anything with these chips. DataMan's preferred weapons are his own weapon-chips! He has a majority of powerful weapon-chips which he can use to dispose of the zombie threat! He's also 3 centimetres taller that Colonel ServBot, god dammit!

And last, but certainly not least...
NEW_FEMALE!11!!!!!one1!!:
Theres  not alot we know New_Female, except with the fact that she's potentially insane and evil. She also has a short temper, try not to make her mad! She also carries around a giant shuriken as her preferred weapon. Withher fighting technique, She usually throws the shuriken at her enemies, and waits for it to bounce back to her.

Well, lets just Bump-date this thing one last time before I get my compy fixed.

Ahem, FIRST OFF IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT BLAH BLAH NOT SO SERIOUS:
I've found a new way to make CSZ, using the Project Zelda Engine!
Quote from: "Small Child"
But Colonel, whats a project zelda engine?

PZE is a source-code used to create Legend of Zelda/Top-Down Action RPG based games.
I(and the team) are thinking about using this engine. Which this also means there will be a Day/Night Timed Mechanic, Think you can beat the game in under 7 game days? Lets see about that!
Also using this engine would eliminate the issue of long and Drawn out lists. Using the original vanilla RPGMXP would mean empty boring streets with out ANY Zombies. Which is pretty lame.

So the PZE Engine would be quite useful, however, Trying to swap in/out team mates will be hard to code in the 'hub' map.

This would also mean many other things, like Exclusive Character Traits. Colonel could string together multiple hits, LeoAlex can block front attacks with his shield, New Female could use medium/long range Shuriken Tosses, Commando Pro would Specialize in using Long Range weapons and a support Knife.

2. Even More Characters.
CSZ is kinda growing. We also received two more Characters! AzureSky and ZeStopper (originally named ThePlayer). Azure Sky attacks using his feet and knocking Back foes with kicks, where as Ze Stopper can use fire to burn and set Zombies ablaze! *Note, do not try this at home*
However, due to the amount of Weapon Designing/ Character Designing/ Spriting, we are closing Character Submissions temporarily. You all can still submit your characters, but they won't be able to be approved/ Allowed in until further notice

3. Still on Hiatus
Ok, the games development willbe on break until further notice. However, you all can still storm up ideas for side quests and more if you wish. However The main Story is finished and we are not taking anymore ideas from outside the Dev-Team without good reason.

So there y'all go. Have fun now

Colonel,

Why don't you put in Avril Lavigne in as the ultimate tribute to her.
