No idea why it has not been known here.
-
Looks very promising!
My only worry is Protoman. If he's going to take double damage again....
-
If I may.
This does look rather promising, yes, and I do enjoy Bio Man's design.
Hell, the concept of Tarot Man is really damn unique as well!
Concept doesn't equal execution, however.
At his present state, his sprite looks like ass and his AI seems almost childish.
He puts up a shield that you can even shoot under, and then he jumps at a wall. He can throw his cards like bombs and shoot them as straight projectiles. Really? The stage beforehand screams deception and the supernatural, while his fight doesn't make use of that in the slightest.
Whatever, my taste in fangames has always been rather critical.
Trons seem a little out of place unless the story's going to explain why they're travelling through time and dimension to pick out one person, and Proto Man doesn't really have a reason to be there other than just being there.
Hopefully it'll get better as it moves along, but right now it seems eh.

So, it's a classic Mega Man game with random Legends characters shoved in. Why not the other series since they're at least closer to the original series? Why only the most niche series? Why is it so awkwardly shoved in? Seems like a pretty lame idea. At least Bio Man's stage has an interesting gimmick, but that's really all I can say for it.

Can't believe half of the Megaman fandom is still butthurt over the cancellation of Megaman Legends 3. It never was really relevant to the other series which were more similar/related to the original Megaman like Mr. X said.
Didn't think Capcom's Street Fighter X Tekken's incarnation was good?
Neither was Over-1 from Rockman Xover?
So let's have a "Megaman 11" with Legends characters instead. And this is coming from the still mad fandom. The fanbase is sure ignorant with Capcom now they hardly give them a chance...
Anyways for the fangame itself, we got a lineup that's kinda bare a similar quality like the other lineups in various fangames. A plot which honestly is dumb and too much of a fanboy's dream. It's basically what a Megaman fan would wish off for a game, Legends and their own robot masters used.
To say it's 25th Anniversary, they also decided to forget we got the X, Zero, ZX, Battle Network, and Star Force series. As some fans might say, "Capcom's biggest mistakes".
Genius, just as genius as boycotting for Sonic 4 by buying Sonic 1-3. Bravo.
Also Xover got a better concept.

But Capcom's Street Fighter incarnation WASN'T good.
Neither was Xover, for that matter- CMM and two other guys were able to make a flash game of it in a short amount of time, and that's Capcom's idea of a big new Mega Man release?
Legends 3 was basically the only quality Mega Man game that was being produced, and besides, it would've answered a lot of questions that 2 left behind and would finally bring a fitting ending to the Legends series. The reason why it 'wasn't relevant' to the Classic series is because it wasn't the Classic series.
Anyway, this game looks promising- I especially like Tarot Man and his jester Tellies.

Well, I think what DonutYoshi meant was that it isn't relevant to the classic series in that it basically goes way off and does its own thing. I mean, the X series is a direct continuation of the Classic series in the timeline, and then Zero clearly and directly takes off from that, and then ZX directly takes off from the Zero series. Then you've got Legends sitting waaaaaaaaaay off in the future with no real link to anything. Plus, (and here's why I've never cared for it) it's basically not even a Mega Man game. It feels like a random adventure game and someone decided to change the main character so he kind of sort of looks like Mega Man just so they could slap Mega Man on the cover. It just feels so distant compared to everything else. At least the Battle Network/Star Force series kept more classic conventions like Robot master-ish enemies, familiar things like Mets, and such.
But I digress. Watching it again, I think both levels look cool, but I'm not a fan of either of the designs for the robot masters.

I actually didn't think the recent Megamans were that bad. It's just too many people really took Legends 3's cancellation too rabidly.
Bad Box Art Megaman's pretty great of a design, it's a Megaman that actually uses the word 'Man'. It's sad the fanbase can't take the joke.
Over-1's is not that bad at all really. The argument of him being unoriginal is kinda a pointless one, since isn't every incarnation of Megaman based off another character?
The fact there's only characters named Megaman and Roll in Legends shows how much relevance to Megaman.
For the fangame though, it's kinda funny on how it's doing the exact same problem like Xover done in concept. Putting a bunch of Megaman series (Though this case only two) in the wrong unbalanced way. The lineups' okay and all, but I don't really see how it mixes with the Legends cast well.

Some intresting details there.
Oh yeah, and Proto Man's been confirmed to take 1.5x more damage than Mega Man. :|
Inb4 the Bonnes turn out to be working for Dr. Wily all along.
-
Okay this really stumps me.
Actual veterans? Don't make me laugh on this how this fangame is really looking and concepts put together.
-
It looks like a fun game, yes, but the sprites look pretty crappy to be honest. It also appears to have been made by another butthurt MM Legends 3 Fanboy.
-
this whole fangame is made by butthurt Legends 3 fanboys.
