Title: Pokèmon tournament
Post by: Galactan on December 18, 2012, 04:34:32 AM
After the premature death of our previous 2 competitive events, I decided to put together a different one!

As the title implies, this here is a nice little Pokèmon tournament.  Please read this post all the way through before signing up or asking questions.  This will be run through Pokèmon online. (http://pokemon-online.eu/)

Some Rules

1. All Pokèmon entered in the tournament MUST be UU tier or below.  This is to encourage strategy and prevent mowing.  A tier list can be found here. (http://wiki.pokemon-online.eu/wiki/5th_Gen_Tier_List)
2. All legendaries are banned, with the exception of Regice, Regirock, and Registeel.  Spiritomb and Smeargle are also banned.
3. Have fun!  While this is competitive, it should also be a fun experience for those involved.

To sign up, PM me with the team that you'll be using.  You cannot change this team once the tournament has started.  You CAN, however, change movesets and items in between battles.  Teams will be announced when the tournament starts.

Signup list:
1. Tengu and Tango
2. Gumballtoid
3. OJ
4. Gummywormz
5.
6.
7.
8.

Please explain why two RarelyUsed pokemon and all legendaries (sans the golem trio for...uhhh... iunno why) are banned in an UnderUsed tournament :ugeek:

I personally don't see the problem with it. If anything It encourages developing new strategies other than using only the stock UU Pokemon people usually use. Sounds fun.

Yeah, I suppose those are some decently overused pokemon.

Anyways, PMing team. Disregard what was once here.

Don't shoot me for the double-post, but...

The tournament doesn't seem to be picking up much steam. I propose you cut it down to 8 players.
