I posted this on /v/ earlier today, and they seem to enjoy it. A lot. The second thread managed to stay up for more than 12 hours. Considering the average non-pokemon thread on /v/ lasts for about five minutes, this is big.
I fear I may have ruined the community before it even formed.

I was in one of the games with over 20 players. Was really laggy though. Eventually I found a server that was about as popular with good ping though :)

inb4 Sager 5791, $2300, Games on medium laptop
inb4 players named milhouse
inb4 etc etc
-
The more people playing the better if you ask me
-
Personally, I think that 7chan might actually take more of a likening to this king of game, seeing as their /vg/ is starved of good FPS action. I'll think about getting an article posted there.

inb4 inb4
but on topic I think that would be a good way to boost the player base. I pretty much fell in love with this game when I played it and think it definitely needs more players.

4chan is the best way to gain popularity. Unfortunately, I'm not sure whether this is a good thing or not.

pros: more players
cons: most of /v/ is whiners and will complain about this being a rehash.

in after inb4
Also if /v/ complains about it being a rehash, they're retards. Its not like CutmanMike threw a bunch of premade Megaman sprites with full rotations and a bunch of premade maps.

Well the only problem here is that /v/ sucks at video games

They do, but I think so far I've done alright. Never finished bellow fifth place so far. Earlier I joined a game 4 minutes after is had started and went to win it. I was then kicked, which made me sad.
