Yeah, this is probably something minor, but I have seen it a few times already and it's annoying.
Sometimes, an old post changes it's date. Here is an example. (http://cutstuff.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=4054&p=185772#p185772) Notice Daveris's post above. I am extremely sure that I posted at roughly the same day or a little later, but definitely NOT yesterday.
Any idea why this happens?

Can't be an error. Because the bump button exists.
It bumps topics and its right next to "E-Mail friend".
Edit: Topic has to be 3 weeks old (I think) for it to appear.

I didn't even know a bump button existed. So yeah, it IS an error.

I think the bump button only appears for you if you've made either the first or last post and it's been a week (or two) since the last post.

Checking my KCTF thread, I see the Bump option, and it's been one month since the last post. I guess the reason I never saw it before was because it's camouflaged in the background...

I haven't noticed there was a bump button until about now... Wow...

Right, I just did a little testing. I used the bump feature on my forum game topic, and it changed the last user's posting date to today's date. Screwy...
Check it out. (http://cutstuff.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=4746&start=90#p216071)

Where is the bump button i would really like to know?
appears next to "Subscribe topic | Print view | E-mail friend" if the thread has not been posted in for too long and either the last or first post belongs to you, I think

Alright then i'm gonna test it
