I was kicked because I was mad once.

The only time I got kicked was during Oliver The Killers reign of no kill servers.

I remember being kicked out of a server multiple times because I ask to be kicked.
The number of times people have tried to votekick me out of a server because I ask to and failed is even higher.
I have never been kicked out of spite or bad behavior except for that one time when I was stalling a Ghouls vs. Humans match with Cacodemon in MM3GEMX...
as a side note, ghouls still have infinite flight

I've been kicked because people get mad at me for whatever reason. I'm usually try not to cause trouble, just come in with some random ass name. EX: Grape Coke, Impregnable Potato, Customer Service Attendant/Manager, [FXH] Sniper Wolf/Decoy Octopus/Metal Gear REX, Lobsters9, Saguaro Cactus, Space Couch, Lobsters on Centaurs. Honestly I love it when people find out/I tell them it's me. OH HEY LOBS : D. Even if they were mad at me for whatever reason a few seconds ago. Off topicness go away I've been kicked because I joined a deathwinds server that was invaded by Toho RPers Vote was 2-1 I had no chance. I didn't know they were rpers until they kept on saying weird stuff and I mean the weird sex stuff. And I didn't know they would kick me for playing the game until well they bloody did. Hell, I never knew what Toho until I played this game. Thanks guys......... I live under a rock. Also I dispise the letter "U." But that is off topic. Backseat modding myself wooooot. I was votekicked several times when I used to raid cheat servers.
As well as a few times for TKing as Windman on Saxton Classes.
Aside from messing with of those few servers that deserved it, nothing else.

I was kicked from a sever three times:
Once was for a light hearted joke.
The second time was for interlining a tourney match, I was told to spectate, while trying to rebind my spectate key I was kicked
The third time was for using proto shield in duel mode.

I've been kicked twice: Once was a votekick because I called a vote to change the map to MM5GRA which succeeded, but also pissed some guy off.
The other was a votekick after OJ got drunk with power on a saxton server where spectators couldn't vote. Everyone except for he and the hale had died, he called a votekick on me, and the hale thought it was funny and went along with it.

I was on this Skulltag server a long time ago, and there were some scrubs playing a crappy doom2 wad. They were in a level with 100,000 shitloads of monsters at the start, and in survival mode. One of them had a strategy (lol) leading everyone else. Of course, it always ended up in tears because the map... if I can call it that, was extremely shitty.
So I got in, awakened nearly every monster, and got everyone killed in record time. Aside from one guy who found it amusing and encouraged me to keep doing it, the rest got fired up and kicked me. Problem? :lol:

Well since it was brought up...
I was kicked mostly for this, among other things. Personally, I have no idea what the hell was going through my mind at that time.
Then some time last year I was kicked from the whole "no kill" thing that went on for a week or so.

There's no need to go apeshit because you got kicked. If anything, stuff like spiteful votekicks are very hilarious in the whole sense of "lol i got votekicked because i kicked ass"
So I think this topic is about that: sharing funny experiences regarding in-game kicks. Or rather was derailed into it. Anyone who's got their panties in a twist about an unfair votekick situation and wants to vent about it should be handled by the moderators. I guess...

Okay, here's one:
In those dark days when I had no graphics card and crashes where common...
I was playing RageRoboenza and kept crashing virtually every round (thank you maps more prone to crash). But, at the same time, I was alpha in two out of 5 of those maps. As soon as I joined the server next round:
[KICK TSUKIYOMARU ZERO]
Reason: Ragequit
The next moment I was typing a comeback, because they were really crashes back then (and it was in a moment I had not ragequitted for a month or so), but it took three seconds to everyone to vote yes.
Next time I had a chance, someone tried to votekick again, but the vote failed and I explained. Since they didn't believe, I kept the crashed window up until the client timed out (joining in with another window just to say "Wait for it", then after the time out of the crashed client, I said "See?").
Even so, they never believed.

i got kicked from a saxton hale server with balrog editon and classes. i team killed 5 guys and got kicked but the ban was broken the first time then the hoster kicked me out from the server.

Well Just Now In the Hotel GBT server with yd's classes I was kicked for "murder" apperently the admin/host/whatever was not amused of my constant fragging of Rainbow. Oh yeah I also got kicked for team killing. Another for playing the game normally on a foreign Roleplay server, I think. And another by Tengu For Rage quitting as a zombie in a roboenze server from a long time ago. and Almost got kicked for interfering a duel match a long time ago during v1 days.

I think openly saying you're mad because you were kicked someplace else on this topic is precisely the kind of thing we want to avoid, thank you. Otherwise it will escalate (or rather decline) into a whining topic, and quickly; that would be embarassing.

Got kicked because I was stalling on MM6TOMX TLMS classes as Quickman. The enemy was Hardman so I decided to have some fun running around in circles for 10 minutes.

It wasn't me, but someone I know was kicked from the roboenza server this evening for being Igor, Unix, some other dude, or Cu
tman Mike. Even though his name specifically said he wasn't any of those dudes.
It was a joke vote from the result of a conversation some people had earlier, granted, but then 20 minutes or so later, the exact same thing happened again!
The guy who called the vote the second time felt really guilty about it though, and asked us to put him out of his misery with our own boots of divine retribution. So there's that I guess.
(Not mentioning any names in either case)

Before V3A was released, on a 2ndcoop server, I wanted to mapvote MAP03 (IX Pack Level). It failed. For laffs I was kicked. The server was shut down as soon as I got a chance to get back in.

One time, sv_cheats was on and I used time stopper, then kept giving myself timestopperwep, making for an infinite time stop. It was only a matter of time :mrgreen:

I did something similar to what TheDoc did but instead of kept giving the timestopperwep over and over again, I kept giving ammo to myself and repeating.

Ah, yes. Now I remember that one time I was at a v2c cheats server and got kicked for whatever reason that was. Then I came back in and told one guy to use Junk Shield. I used Time Stopper and crashed the server to oblivion. :twisted:

I got kicked today for using quickman class in CTF i can do it but they did just kicked me for it i don't know why they kicked me from the server using quickman class in CTF is not a bad thing.

You can quickly reach the flag and, IIRC, previously the flags lacked the ability to change the player into an "average Joe" in order to prevent quick classes from repeatedly retrieving the flags. So, yeah, you were kicked for no reason other than "We hate Quickman".

Are you sure you didn't do anything to deserve the kick? While it may be a stupid reason, no one really kicks for someone and uses the reason "Unix" for no reason. Was this on a MM8BDM server or..?

I was on the Saxton Hale server under a different name than usual, then the vote kick happened.
Before me, someone else got kicked too but for a different reason of Get out.

Yes, there appear to be senseless bannings outside of BE servers. I saw Tsuki getting perma-banned from a Saxton server for supposedly being a pedo, having not even talked. I left at that point.

Well just know I got kicked off the Strength In Numbers server for killing Toadman in a few hits with the Atomic Chain(I believe that fake's weaapon). Man Toastman Was so pissed. It was funny.

I got kicked out of a cheat server a long time ago for giving myself timestopper infinitely. Yea kinda deserved that :mrgreen:

Kick is good only if the guy camp to much or run always and kill the game (specially in TLMS or saxtonhale), do unfair game is not good and kill the atmosphere.
Sometimes, when there is only 2 guys on TLMS or saxton, they are so nuts and happy to be the last, they do some things like a dance...and everybody wait for the next game.
Those guys must be kicked (no ban except if they do always the same problem).
I dont know, is it so hard to understand the point of a "vote kick" ?
Everybody become a troll sometimes and try to kick you for the fun anyways, pretty retarded.

Might as well kick Messatsu for winning in the CSCC testing all the time, because that is a terrible, but one of the more common reasons.
So every reason is terrible.

Well I got kicked for being a "killer" in a hotel server by some butthurt crashman (I think that was mariohead)
Edit: Got kicked again by YGP for "intruding" on his quest to frag Mr Wink.

I don't approve of killing in hotel servers unless that's the purpose. (Saxton Hale, Hide and Seek, Server SAYS so)

ive been vote kicked numerous time by either bind spam or trolling the saxton players
but the best reason i got vote kicked was when everyone was named Smunch and there was a vote kick against smunch with the reason: "russian roulette"

Lobsters (the guy who made that obstacle course mod) hates me for some reason. He's kicked me numerous times from his server

I got kicked from the Obstacle Course server when my controller started screwing up and and I started to spin crazily.
Someone then said "Kick this guy" and I was.
I was also apparently banned for my controllers fault.

Besides, when playing an english online game, we consider that the non english-born players are able to communicate in english. So excepted if the server is for instance a "Spanish dedicated MM8BDM server" or "Deustch dedicated MM8BDM server" or from any other country, they shouldn't kick you because you don't know their language. I know a lot of french friends in MM8BDM (like ImmaMedalHunter, Robot Master L.S or Stonefunk) and they always talk in english. And it's really not a trouble.

15 minute ban on Mitch's server because I played well on Team Possession. I actually was going to join the server's team next game since 75chris5, omegatheseperior, and I were pretty much unstoppable. Ah well, it's not the first time I've been kicked or banned from this server. Seems the server doesn't like people that are better than him/her.
EDIT: I'll just add that whenever the server won, he says gg, and if someone else won, it sometimes resulted in a kick on that player. So yeah...not much I can say about that.

I was just kicked from a Mission Mode (Demnyx's Co-Op) server since I was asking how to enable crouching via the console.

Only the server (or RCON), can enable crouching. The command for the server is:
sv_nocrouch false or sv_nocrouch 0
Both will allow players to crouch.

When I was new and didn't have respect for any of the players at all I:
1.) Kept spamming "You gonna die" on a MMSP Co-op server. (Vote-Kicked)
2.) Intruded on what seems to be an intervention on a DM server, they told me to leave. (Vote-Kicked)
When I did gain some respect for the players of MM8BDM I:

1.) Something similar but with timestoppersphere, spammed "give timestoppersphere". (Vote-Kicked)
2.) Suiciding as boss on Saxton Hale (Almost Vote-Kicked)
3.) Same thing as a zombie on Roboenza (Vote-Kicked)
4.) I think they kicked me for sucking at the game once.... (Vote-Kicked)
5.) Apparently wasn't running my own server correctly. [Bikdark, his real reason on the label said "for lols"] (Failed Vote-Kick) I retaliated by banning him for 100 days with a similarly dumb reason of: "Fuck You". I Unbanned him.
I have done so much stuff to get myself kicked... wow. The last one was uncalled for, though. :mad:

Yeah, and new people come and just keep doing the same kind of stuff all the time...maybe it's because they're young or too excited to play with others but don't know how to treat them. I think that sort of innocent impertinence is what grinds most veterans' gears. Some people expect to be received openly and positively regardless of their behavior, but don't understand that you have to work your way into a community, and sometimes being well-known just doesn't cut it.

Something I've noticed is I started to get annoyed at a new player for not playing Roboenza correctly and doing similar things as what I used to do. I didn't call a vote kick. I didn't type rude things on chat either, but when you've played a game long enough and someone who doesn't know much about the game shows up and ruins it, I see why the veterans do such things. But the actions of both sides do ruin the community.

He's still a pain to be around at times, but he's much better than before, if I'm correct on who he is.

I disagree with
Zerokk Ceridran. Danny is really nice now and never does anything to make anybody mad; in fact, he typically doesn't rage when others do stupid stuff to him either.

- Because I said the owner of the server loved to play with homing classes.
- I called danny gay.

anyway i get kicked when i enter a server with 2 or more spanish noobs (name the asshole players of any year exceptthe first i have been there) beating them, come from hiding and laugh. They useally fear me afterwards and only insult me when thier friends are around

I'm going to go ahead and end this right here, as has been done with a very similar thread in the past.
Cutstuff moderators and admins have absolutely no power over things that happen in a server. Threads such as this merely serve as a breeding ground for escalation from anger to name-calling and flaming. That has no place on these forums.
Robot Master L.S, if you would like to discuss what happened to you, feel free to PM me about it. I'd be happy to try and help you come to a resolution with whoever within the servers. A public rant thread like this is not the place for that.
In the future, if someone experiences behavior in servers that could relate strongly to Cutstuff, or could be a problem for many, many users here, such a discussion may be more appropriate for the forums.
