Title: The Battle Brothers Map Pack
Post by: Hallan Parva on June 19, 2013, 07:39:34 PM
SmashBroPlusB is now HERE. He is advertising a THING. This thing may or may not finally become a REAL BOY.

Presenting the BATTLE BROTHERS MAP PACK.

It occupies a wondrous EIGHT SPACES in your inventory. It is really that large. Its largeness is similar to THIS TEXT.

The number of maps is currently UNKNOWN. We have NO IDEA what we are doing. Science is progressing in a RADICAL and EXCITING fashion. There are currently SIX MAPS planned but there might be more if we are not PROCRASTINATORS. Studies carried out by Fusion Labs indicate that we ARE INDEED composed of PROCRASTOIDS. It is a previously-unknown metallic compound responsible for the forces of LAZINESS and LETHARGY. Being exposed to massive amounts of PUNCHNIUM and FALCONITE should remove any traces of procrastoids in the host body.

It is now the time for SCREENSHOTS and diminished amounts of CAPITAL LETTERS.

Somewhere in subspace, vanilla only, buckshot.

Wait, wrong map.

Anywho, this project looks interesting.

Someone already made a Final Destination map (can't remember who) and it was pretty much just a slamfest of buster shots and random items from Eddie. Rest assured, Somewhere in Subspace should play a lot better than Final Destination, and the battlefield you see isn't the only playable part of the map.

I appreciate the feedback though, and Beed, you might want to check your image settings. They're all hosted in the same place.

Remember the critics for that Top Man map, because you'll hear them all over again otherwise. For the Megamari map, it feels like Air Man with the same texture all over the place, so I suggest a little more variety even if it means altering the layout a bit.

Well, that's irrelevant to this topic. But any ideas you might have should go here (http://cutstuff.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=4507).

I think he post it here because of the somewhere in subspace map may have somewhat influenced that statement.

I think this resembles super smash bros. Mario stages and Somewhere in subspace kind of make it clear.

In case you haven't been keeping track:

BROS01: Rise to Glory
BROS02: Burnin' Buttocks
BROS03: Forest Man
BROS04: Free 4 All
BROS05: Inside the System

And with that, we have five determined maps on our roster. Stay tuned for more updates.

No you didn't? This isn't even done yet. You're thinking of Messatsu's "Mega Man 8-Bit Death Smash" modification, which doesn't yet have a post on the forums as far as I remember.

Also, this honestly has very little to do with Smash Bros. outside of a few references here and there.
