Title: Animal Crossing
Post by: Max on July 22, 2013, 11:08:16 AM
Here's some things I made

Hard Man
(click to show/hide)

Air Man
(click to show/hide)

I also made Hard's mugshot and two of his rock tiles, but since they're just pixel-for-pixel recreations I'm not going to post them here

You guys can discuss AC here or something

I have AC:GC and AC:CF

My Wii is a dumb and won't read disks at all anymore, and I have a Wii U.

So I can only play the worst one in the series if I wanted to.

What exactly made City Folk so bad again? I enjoyed it, but then again I don't play Animal Crossing for too long

I found it kinda bland since it shared so much with WW (aside from the city) and it took forever to make bells.  NL is definitely a stronger title and worth getting if you've ever been interested in the series/liked the previous games.

I'll be considering getting Animal Crossing:New Leaf.  My friends always keep telling me to get it, And i do love games where you can creat stuff of your own, so why not?

Right, I'm posting this here.
If anyone has 8 or less people in their town on NL and would like one more, come do me a big favor.
There's this person who decided to move in on top of my orchard and destroy part of my path. It's very inconvenient for him to do this, and I'd like him to leave immediately. My town is in a wreck because of him.

I suppose later I'll post some pictures of what my town looked like before this thing moved to my town.

City Folk I guess is kinda fun, all I ever did was try to catch all the fish, collect all the fossils and bugs and paintings. I had fun with it, but paying off your house on that game takes FOREVER. I actually found myself messing with the games date just to farm bells so I could actually do things.

It got really boring. Eventually I just was like "fuck this" and loaded an infinite bells cheat into the game with Gecko OS loader. Then I just went around and tried to make my neighbors fall in pitfalls and stuff. I like the little reactions you get. I went to one of my friends towns once and it was pretty fun. You can quite literally do anything you want in someone else's town.

The original has always been the most fun for me for some reason. I never really got into Wild World all that much, and City Folk is OK, but not all that exciting.

Would like to pick up New Leaf sometime in the future.

If anythin', (besides this obvious necromancy) now's probably the BEST time to grab New Leaf. Considerin' that new Amiibo update as of recent. Like anythin' that suffers from new-toy-syndrome, it'll last a good while to assume anyone that wants to play/enjoy this game.

Lastly, here's my Dream Address for anyone curious of what my town looks like: 5A00-000F-E2F9

Side note that it's one of the Nintendo Selects and now goes for $20.

There is literally no better time to pick this game up.
