Title: [Suggestion] Models for certain Actors

Namely, decorative or certain interactive actors, such as Mobies, Guts Lift, Item 1 Platforms, corkscrew towers in MM5GYR, Quickbeams (specially after that one I saw in a screenshot), and so on. That would be at least an interesting replacement until Voxels are added to Zandronum, don't you think so?

Along with it, I ask: is it possible to make some graphical modifications to be loaded by the /Skins/ folder?

Models can be loaded by an individual and still allow them to connect to servers correct?

Having models in MM8BDM would take away from the spirit of NES sprites. So no, I would never let this pass.

By logic, so would the transparent water, and yet transparent water is pending. Instead of outright rejecting, why not just let people vote it out first?

Just saying.

Either way this suggestion is literally my fault because I am probably the one in the community who dabbled with models the most.
The only things in the entire game that warrant a model would probably be the yoku blocks in Heatman and maybe the guts lifts.

Not saying this should go in the core, but it definitely makes for a fun [and fps killing] mod.

You seem to be confusing "throwing out ideas" for something I was actually planning on going through Lego.  :ugeek:

Anyways, you can see Mega Man when he is underwater in the games, therefore transparent water is more acceptable then having Models in classic Mega Man. Voxels are an entirely different matter, but for models, no.

Not even as a placeholder until Voxels comes around? That's quite sad...

Honestly, I don't like models in GZDoom/Zandronum neither, they don't mix well with the way collisions are handled and how they sometimes don't look any appealing, I was just concerned for an easy way for at least some of us see certain objects in order in a way that makes them less of a thing for Paper Mario

What I'm more confused about is why someone who is so avid with supporting software over OpenGL is supporting an OpenGL only feature that doesn't benefit software users at all.
Nonetheless, no. Not in the core. When voxels support comes, then we can talk about including voxels.
