Title: The Night That Changed Everything (RP)
Post by: -FiniteZero- on August 13, 2013, 09:35:28 PM
(So, be careful to make sure everyone has a chance to post.
Also, if you aren't on the list and still wish to join the RP, feel free to post in the discussion thread.)

New years eve, 20XX. In the New City Square, Plant Man was setting up for a party. He had invited many of his fellow Robot Masters, though he knew not all could make it; for instance, Honey Woman was busy tending to their garden.

He had set up a dancefloor with music and a small bar. Plant Man looked up at the stars, smiling. He felt that this would be a good night.

He was unbelievably wrong.

The sound of a quick pair of boots suddenly was heard, tearing down the streets at a pace nearly rivaling that of Quick-Man.  As the sound came closer, the outline of a straitlaced policeman Robot could be seen through the darkness.  He sped up straight to Plant-Man, saluted, and said, "Officer Fake-Man, reporting for duty!"

He dropped the salute, as quickly as he appeared, and walked around slowly, his hands clasped behind his back.  "Yes, I know you didn't bring me an invitation.  I was assigned by the police force to ensure nothing bad goes down here at this party.  Noise and confusion of this caliber would be an excellent time to launch an attack, and, well...it wouldn't be the first time something illicit happened at a Robot Master party," he added, alluding to the last time Heat-Man got a bit too zealous and ruined everyone's evening.
"Don't bother trying to get rid of me; I'm staying.  That being said, I'll try not to be a stick in the mud.  It is a celebration, after all—might as well try to have a good time.  I'm not much of a dancer, but I might even help myself to a couple drinks.  Enjoy yourselves, now," he said with a wave, and found a place to stand where he wouldn't get in the way.

Flying past the bright glowing moon, Tengu Man soars the skies looking for bright lights and music. Slowly decending down to the party grounds, he spots Plant Man and Fake Man in attendance. "Oh great, had I've known there would be a cop here, I wouldnt event have wasted my time. Such foolishness." Hovering over to the joyful Plant Man, he greets him.

"You did a nice job setting this up, I'll give you that, but I'll be sure to change that opinion later on. Whether it be good or bad, we'll just see." He takes a seat by the line of chairs set up, folds his arms and closes his eyes.

Stomping down the street Grenade Man saw the 3 gathered robot masters, two in chairs. He walked up to Plant Man, standing by the chairs, and said

"Hey Plant Man, thank you for reconsidering not letting me come to the party. Don't worry, I won't blow up most of the party  Like last year.  Or the year before that one."

to Fake Man he said "Don't freak out about me bein here, I have dealt with the craziness issues. So for tonight I will be fine, just fine." With that he walked over to the next chair and moves it outta the way so he could stand there.

Rising from the Earth, a lightened Robot warrior appears. He walks up to the pool and Terra introduces himself, "What's up guys? You didn't start without me! That makes me happy."
"Oh, the Fakeman and the nice Tenguman are here. How are you all doing? You too Grenade, you have a nice EXPLOSIVE personality! Hahahahahhaha! I crack myself up. How are you doing Plant! You gotta teach me those planting skills cause the guardian of Earth has to know about life!"

Then, the sound of a tank rolling down the road is heard as a small purple speck appears in the distance. As he rolls up, he sees 4 other robot masters, three in....chairs? Wait a sec.... I thought someone needs some demolition help? What is this?

Then he saw Terra and glared at him. Why are YOU here? I never like stuck-up Stardroids in the first place, but you...

Enker slowly walked down the street. Despite his destination being a party with likely no fighting going on, he had brought his Barrier Spear along with him in the event things took a sharp turn. The night was wild, with all sorts of celebration on account of the coming year. Enker smiled to himself.

Enker approached the square and saw that the host had already seated several guests (despite one opting to stand). He quickly scanned the area, and took note of Fake Man keeping a vigilant eye on the place. Enker approached Plant Man and offered his greetings. "Assuming things go smoothly, unlike last year," Enker shot a glare at Grenade Man, "this should be a satisfying end to the year. Thanks for inviting me." Enker grinned and took the seat discarded by Grenade Man, and directed his attention to the visibly confused and seemingly angered Napalm Man.

"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?" Terra, clearly confused, said to Naplam Man. "I'm not stuck up, I just like my face and my hands. No offense on the hands part homie. I just came here to party because it's Earth's new year and Sunstar told me to take a vacation. So lets not cause any problems. Mercury is going to be here too, so I'll just take a nap meanwhile."

"Alright, we're here."

The motorcycle pulled up outside the gates. Snake Man hopped off and let out a laugh, rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

"Ehh... you sure you can't stick around?" Snake Man asked his companion.
The rider removed his helmet. "Sorry. I promised the Doctor I'd watch over the city tonight."
"Yeah, I hear ya... It's not an easy job maintaining world peace, is it, Break Man?"
"Proto Man," he corrected. His agitation was clearly audible. "Anyway, I gotta run. Have fun."

Proto Man put his Break helmet back on, speeding off into the night.

"Ehh... he can't fool me," Snake Man laughed to himself. "He's such a lightweight. A couple of B-Tanks and he gets crazy drunk..."

He walked in through the gates and noticed a rather... interesting scene evolving in the park. He quickly scanned the area for Magnet Man or Galaxy Man, but after seeing that no other Light model Robot Masters had arrived yet, decided to chat it up with Plant Man.

"Looks real nice so far," Snake Man complimented. "Ehh... I can't wait to see who passes out first this year." He gestured towards Grenade Man and added, "Last year with Grenade Man and Bomb Man was a riot, ehh! To be honest, I'm not sure whether I'm relieved or disappointed to see you hired security..."

"Yes. This is a New Years celebration." Plant Man said, not wanting another blown-up party. "Let's all keep it cool."

He calmed himself, and smiled. As long as HE kept cool, everyone else should remain calm, too. He hoped. When he heard a familiar voice, he turned to greet Snake Man.

"Hello and welcome, Snake Man. I did not bring security, he came here on his own accord. I hope this party is more peaceful than the last one." He said with deliberate calmness.

Right about then, a gleaming shine came from the entryway. "I didn't realize most of you were stargazers," a sly-sounding voice called. Flicking the front of his star-emblazoned helmet, Star Man strolled inside the party grounds, giving a casual salute to Plant Man. "Nice to see ya again, Planty. Lucky I managed to get off of work for this- Doc Wily sure does like me having around as an architect. I can see I'm rather early... this all we have so far?" Putting his hands on his hips, he looked around at the few party-goers, nodding at Terra, a fellow space-bot. "It'll do for now. I just hope you remembered to invite the ladies this time."

Finding a nice, comfortable couch, he sat down and eased his legs back, putting his hands behind his head. "It's about time I've gotten time off... this'll be a fun evening, I'm sure."

Grenade Man, after getting bored standing around, walked over to the bar and helped himself. He punched the tank's top open and chugged the contents quickly, only to grab another. After a few minutes he had a small but notifiable pile building up beside him. "This ok, Plant, or am I not supposed to be drinkin' yet?"

As he drank he was thinking: Unless Mr. cop or crazy Napalm over there does something interesting, this will be a boring party. Well...I guess I could get someone to chuck or lug me into the sky for a big firework show, hehehe.

*sigh* Well, after working for so long, a break would be nice. Napalmman grabbed an E-tank from the bar and sat down, crossing his legs. I hope something interesting happens... Napalmman thought to himself as he glanced at Grenademan.

Tengu Man opens one eye to examine the others. "Hmm, nobody interesting here I see. All familiar faces. I knew this was just a big waste of time. But still, never hurts to socialize every once in a while."

Putting his independent spirit aside, he hops up and calls for a few of his Tencrows. "Bring me an E-Tank and some cake, will ya?" The birds flap away and come back with a slice of cake and an E-Tank stolen from Napalm Man. Retracting his triple bladed fan, he sets down the cake on one fan blade and the E-Tank on another. "Well, Plant can bake a good cake, I'll give him that too. But it still ain't enough to change my opinion of thid lame party." After finishing his treats, he returns back to sitting with his arms folded and eyes closed.

Flame Man himself was ecstatic to be going somewhere for once. His oil company has been strong economically, but it's never been the most relaxing of times. He's always been pushed to his limits simply because he as well as his minions were the only ones capable of harnessing the oil's potential. Humans would always mess up the job. Always complaints of "my new suit's ruined", "why aren't there any bathrooms here", or even "the oil bit off my finger". He sighed a breath of relief to himself as the plane he was in landed, knowing he'd be able to take a break from it all for even just a couple of days.

He eventually made it to the party, getting lost once or twice on the way over. The first thing he did was just sit down in a chair nearby, allowing himself to just collect himself for a little bit.

A wild Galaxyman flies through the depths of the universe, exploring the newly found galaxy simply known as "Canela". Numerous smells litter the galaxy, fancy ones that even "The Man of Chicken" would appreciate.

However, his body couldn't take all of these wonderful smells. One of his engines blew and he began to make a harsh descent to the planet below. He began to name off the atmospheres he passed through, preparing himself for the ground below. Seeing some lights below, he feels as if that is the best place to land; if only for an attempt to not crash.

"SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE" yells Galaxyman as he plummets through the front door to what appeared to be a party. All the other guests looked at him with a blank stare then proceeded back to what they were doing. He proceeds to get up and go to a nearby repair station to fix his engine, ordering a drink along the way.

Galaxyman's screaming woke up the snoozing Terra.
"Huh, they started the rave without me! Oh wait, it's just  GalaxyMan going high. That boy should learn some manners." He said.
"It also looks like StarMan and FlameMan have arrived, but where is Mercury? The planet is only 77-222 million miles from Earth, not too far to travel for a Stardroid." Terra calculated.
"I think I'll go grab a drink. Wake me up when Mercury comes." Terra said to Plantman before heading to the bar.

"Here, I just opened this one. There's plenty more, I have't drank up too many of them. Yet, hehehehe." Grenade Man said as he handed Terra an E-Tank.

Huh...this is getting a little bit more entertaining, he thought as he opened and downed another tank. Whats that 32, 33, I don't even know how many I have had. I do know I want another one.

Plant Man smiled as he saw the new Robot Masters enter the party. But then, someone glomped him from behind, startling him. "Honey Woman, don't do that!"

Honey Woman giggled and flew circles around him. "Always easy to jump, Planty! I was able to get some time off to spend with you. It's new years after all!"

"True." Plant Man said with a small smile. "This would be our first one together. None of the others know about us yet."

Enker arose and approached the bar, helping himself to an E-Tank. He glanced at Grenade Man and stepped back, visibly repulsed. Taking a deep drink, Enker began to loosen up, until he tripped on a stray empty, likely dropped by Grenade Man. Landing unceremoniously, Enker's drink splashed all over his face. Instantly infuriated and tempted to kick the bar stool out from underneath Grenade Man, he quickly recomposed himself and stepped away to mingle with the other guests.

Napalmman narrowed his eyes at Tengu as he got up to get another E-Tank. As he was going, he saw Flameman, who had just arrived.

Finally, someone decent. Napalmman had a sort of respect for Flameman. He didn't fly around, he didn't yell into the air, and he didn't steal people's E-Tanks. Plus, outside this god-forsaken party, he didn't go out picking fights, but could easily hold his own if necessary. I wonder who else is coming...*sigh* Napalmman slouched in his chair, it creaking under his weight.

(...so are more characters per person allowed now, or what?)

Star Man cracked his eye open just slightly to see the bubbly-bee Robot Mistress fly circles around Plant Man. A small smirk settled in the corner of his face. "'Bout time Plant grew some bolts- I was starting to think we'd never get any company of the 2nd kind around here..." He then peered over at Plant himself. "Ah, so that's what's going on. As much as I like Plant Man, he's got too good a prize to pass up. Heheheh..." Shaking his head slightly, he headed over to the bar, already crowded with party-goers.

Perusing over the usual fare, he noticed a tank sitting on the far right flashing an L on it. "Wow, an L-Tank, aged to perfection! Man, these must've cost a fortune to dig up...  too bad they were discontinued a few decades ago, this stuff was the bomb." Taking two and stashing one inside his wrist compartment, he dodged Enker's fall, and sat down at his seat and waved at Napalm Man, his brother who arrived earlier.

Tengu Man gets up and finally decides to do something other than simply sitting on the side-lines. He takes a walk over to the pool and takes a look at the neon-lit water. Seeing some of the others sitting with their feet in the water, he sits beside the diving board setting his feet in and relaxing himself. It was then that Terra took a step onto the board. Jumping a few times, he takes a dive in and splashes water all onto Tengu. After emerging from the water, he shakes his head, flinging more water from his hair onto the already drenched Tengu Man. Shaking the water off of him, he stands back up and draws his fan blades. "Watch where you're jumping you shampoo-whoring idiot!" Aiming his buster at him, he shoots a tornado hold right at him, flinging all of the water out of the pool.

Being splashed by water, Grenade Man was drawn away from his continuous chugging.
"HEY! WERED MY L-Tanks GO!?! I brought those for each guest, so give 'em back or Imma Blow something apart!" Grenade Man, who was obviously not inebriated by all the tanks he had drank, screamed. He looked over at Star Man "I know it was you, Twinkle Toes, put 'em back!"

OOC: For future reference, some people don't like others controlling their character(s?), Azure.

IC: Napalmman saw Starman snag a couple L-Tanks, then he sat down and waved to him. Napalmman nodded back. His E-Tank was about half empty when the pool roared into a whirlwind. Napalmman covered his face with his arm and took another sip.

Then, Grenademan started yelling at Starman about L-Tanks. Napalmman would've facepalmed, but he knew better ;) . Here he goes.

That should be the spot right beyond that large streatch of buildings there, J.
Where those stitch-lights originate?
Yep.

Amidst the dark night sky, a faint, green glow materializes in the distance. It stared swerving between mile-high buildings Jupiter, one of the Stardroids, is assisting his younger brother Mercury by giving him a ride to the party that he and his eldest brother, Terra, both recieved. As for the reason, Jupiter was heading to a conference in a section of the city nearby and decided to multi-task since Mercury was offered a ride by Terra, but couldn't because Mercury slept in too late. Since Jupiter was older than Mercury, he showed concern for him all because of being invited to this undescribed party. He thought to himself:

Inviting the oldest and the youngest of my brothers...it DOES seem kind of suspisious. I should probably tag alongside him just in case, but Terra's there as well and could verily do me harm for showing up uninvited.
J, SNAP OUT OF IT!

Mercury's hollar snapped Jupiter out of his train of thought to reveal that he was sterring himself into a tall skyscraper. They both screamed as Jupiter twisted his body to jet away from and around the building.

J, I'll be damned if you leave me in critical condition before I even get to the party!
Have you forgotten, Merc, that you can turn into an amorphus blob and not take any damage in that forme?
No, I remember. I was just gonna put myself into a situation that would get YOU in trouble, Mr. Drives-So-Bad.

Despite the only scare encountered on their flight, they managed to reach the party's destination. A grin started to creep across his face as he was ecstatic to attend to drop into the party...literally.

Welp, here's my stop! Thanks, big bro. I'll send you a postcard, souvenier, et cetera, et ecetra. See ya!

Mercury jumped off of Jupiter's jetpack and stated to rocket downward by nothing but gravity itself.

Merc, you psychotic idioit! Ehh...forget it. If I get in trouble for it, fine. It's not my fault I let my young bro kill himself all because I decided to multi-task...

Jupiter continued to argue with himself as he continues to his conference call. Meanwhile, Mercury is diving towards the party with the same happy smirk.

This is it, Merc. Your first shindig with good friends. I get to dance, gossip, meet girls...wait, I don't know if they invited any girls, or even INVENTED girls, but hey I can stil-...

Before he could finish his impressive self-theory on his possible enjoyment of the party, he slammed into the center of the dance floor and splashed in a small puddle that looked like someone stomped on a giant black widow spider. Everyone who heard the loud splat gazed towards where Mercury crashed. Suddenly, the puddle started to creep off the dance floor and started to reform next to PlantMan.

Plant, my mutual friend! Thanks for inviting me! If there's anything I can do to help make this party more lively, I'll do it for ya. Don't worry, I won't do anything remotely destructive, like how GrenadeMan wrecked last year's party. I'll just grab a seat for now and rest, I'm so excited.

He noticed Terra by the bar, annoyed that Mercury arrived late, and went to sit by him, but there were no stools left to sit upon. So he charged up his Grab Buster and fired it to the other side of the bar at a vacant stool that flew overhead and towards Mercury's lifted head. Placed down he sat beside his brother and shot for a slice of dessert and an E-Tank, ready to par-take in a random, generic discussion with his brother.

Flame Man glanced over at the raucous coming from the bar. Enker. Who else did he expect. We're all Mega Man killers too, buddy. No need to get your circuits tied up.

He decided it would be best to look around and count who's actually here, most of them unfamiliar to him. Wily's been busy, he thought to himself. He noticed Napalm and Star by the bar, which were inspirations to the sixth rebellion masters back whenever that was occuring. "Oh wow, it's been X0 years already," Flame Man mumbled to himself as he re-positioned himself to find a more comfortable position. Some water by the pool landed nearby him, but so long as Hard Man was banned from the pool, he'd be fine.

Fake-Man had stood quietly at the same spot since the party began, not moving a muscle.  Yes, I was sent here by the police force, he thought, and it's about time, too.  Ever since Grenade-Man was built and liberated back in 20XX, he had simply wrecked every New Years party since by blowing something—or someone—up.  Cut-Man still wouldn't go near the guy.  Luckily, he was built and liberated the very next year, 20XX, and he'd been arguing with the police force to make a policeman—himself—mandatory at the party.  Now, finally, this year, 20XX, they decided to let him go.  He checked his watch.  11:00 PM.  In an hour, it would be 20XX.  Funny how they're all the same year, he idly thought to himself, eyeing Grenade-Man at the bar.
Eventually, he could not deny that the number of drinking Robots made it look like fun, and he broke his statuesque appearance and sauntered to the bar.  "Waiter, give me something simple.  Low alcohol content.  A drunk policeman is as good as a car with no gas."  He removed his faceplate and was just about to reach for his shot when he heard the boisterous shouts of one Grenade-Man.  Instantly tensing, his hand went to his chamber, hoping he wouldn't have to spin it.  "Mister Grenade-Man, please calm down.  There is no need to pick a fight.  We're all here to have fun."

Star Man's eyes popped open as an angry Grenade Man shouted at him. "What's the big deal, tough guy? They're everyone's drinks, you can't just call a whole section for yourself. Go find you're own L-Tanks- these babies are mine."  He then noticed Tengu Man making a fool out of himself by splashing up all the water. "Damn, that guy's a jerk. If only he wasn't so pissy about everyone around him..." He then glanced over at Honey Woman again. "On second thought, it would be a pretty dick move to cockblock Plant's fun with his lady... but I'm all about dick moves, so it doesn't really crush against my morals too much. Heh." He slowly got up from his chair and walked over to Plant Man. "Heya, Planty. I don't think you've introduced me to your friend yet." He nodded to Honey Woman, forming one of his trademark smirks. "The name's Star Man. Pleasure to make your acquaintance."

"Hmmm. Where is it?" said a robot of magnetism walking around the city. Why it's Magnetman, who appears to be in a hurry trying to locate the location in which a gathering of robot was to be held for a party to celebrate the new year. "Ugh. I have to hurry and find this (Reading the invitation) "New City Square" before the night is over." An hour later, He manages to find said square and sees the decorations and familar faces. "Finally!" he exclaimed to himself. Magnet soon arrived at the entrance and said "Hey guys long time no see. Hope I'm not late for the party."

"Well Fake-out, Make Twinkle Toes give me the L-tanks back. Otherwise somethings gonna' go boom, simple as that." Grenade Man had his Flash bomb pointed in the general direction of Star Man, but not exactly at him. "So...The L-Tanks, or the Scrap Yard for Starface?" Grenade Man was standing near Fake Man, away from the majority of the party.

"Hi! I'm Honey Woman!" Honey said with a smile on her face. "You're Star Man? You explore space, right? So cool!"

"Um..." Plant Man said nervously. "Sh-she's my g-"
"I'm his little honey bee!" Honey Woman said with a little jump. She had come up with the nickname herself, and Plant Man went along with it. Curiously enough, Plant Man normally has a phobia of bees.

Things might explode if Grenademan went untamed (quite literally), so Napalm put his empty tank down, retracted one of his hands and replaced it with a bomb, just in case more drastic measures needed to be taken. What's it gonna be Fakeman?
(Btw, the lighter purple shows that Napalm is thinking to himself. the dark purple is him actually talking)

Fake-Man did not move while Grenade-Man was speaking.  When he was done, his only reaction was "I'll go try to talk to him."  Marching dutifully over to Star-Man, he pulled him off to the side and whispered to him in a subdued voice.  "Listen, pal, I know the bar's a free-for-all but I don't want any violence and Grenade-Man is pointing his Flash Bomb cannon at you right now.  I really don't want to have to shoot anyone tonight; in fact, I almost want to enjoy myself.  So here's what we're gonna do:  if you give me one of the L-Tanks, I'll talk him out of the other.  Deal?"

"Ehh, looks like ol' pin cushion's lit another fuse. Better snuff things out, and fast."

Snake Man snuck away from the group of Robot Masters, priming his right hand into buster mode. He squeezes out three little snake drones. Mega Man's weapon data labels it as Search Snake; Snake Man treats them as little pets instead of projectiles, and has given them the name "Snakelets". Their black, beady eyes shine in the moonlight, eagerly awaiting instruction from their master.

"Hey, little guys," Snake Man whispered to his Snakelets. "I need you to crawl over there and nab those L-Tanks before Bomberman Zero over there decides to nuke the party. Got it?"

The Snakelets nodded, slipping past the Robot Masters and crawling up their legs without notice. Eventually they latched on to the L-Tanks, and brought them back to Snake Man while Grenade Man, Star Man, and Fake Man were distracted with their argument.

"Ehh... good job, boys." Snake Man returned the Snakelets to his buster chamber for later use. "As for these..." He turned to the L-Tanks and hid them behind a bush. "Outta sight, outta mind... well, hopefully." He made his way over to the pool to take a relaxing dip, curious as to what other Robot Masters would be arriving. He thought he had a pretty clear idea on who was invited, but Plant Man changed the list last-minute so anything would be a surprise to Snake Man.

Star Man chuckled a bit at the nickname. "Oh, I don't explore space all too often any more. More of a... eh, architect, you might say. 'Course, that doesn't mean I can't go into space. It's quite a wonderful place, but usually I don't have many people to go with me... Gravity and Astro is always busy, Stardroids are always holed up on the planets, and... well, Galaxy is another story."

"Anyway, it appears you already know about me, while I don't know about you. What do you do, Honey... Woman," adding the last part after glancing at Plant Man and exchanging a sheepish grin...

...before being interrupted by a police officer behind him. "That purple pincushion is STILL bellyaching? Ugh... fine, take this one," he said as he tossed the one in his hand to Fake Man. Gonna have to grab another one of those... Ah, convenient, he said, plucking one off of a passing Search Snake and giving a mock salute to Snake Man.

Getting a better look at the pool, Enker was pretty glad Wood Man hadn't shown up to make a mess of it. Terra and Tengu Man were going at it, and Flame Man had not moved an inch since he had arrived. Enker glanced back at the mess unfolding between Star Man and Grenade Man, and he returned to the bar and took a seat next to Napalm Man.

A mixture of anger and boredom got the better of him. Nabbing the empty tank Napalm Man had downed, he lobbed it in the direction of Grenade Man and ducked behind the counter.

Anyways, before Napalm could react, Enker threw the tank at Grenademan, but before it hit, Quickman zoomed in out of nowhere, caught  it, and returned to Napalm. Not bad, huh?

It was a dark and unknown location. Ballade noticed that New Year is coming near and realised... "It's been a long time since I have left Dr. Wily's force. I even suspected he'd build clones of me to serve him... I also bet they would also be weaklings." Then, he found an invitation to Plant Man's New Year party. "Maybe I'll join in to meet many other Robot Masters, some possibly even more formidable than I am." Ballade thought to himself.
With his decision, he teleported to the party venue and slowly proceeded for the front door. The setting was so exciting, Ballade's slightly dull mood made him distinctive. He proceeded to think about Plant Man. "That Robot Master... He might not look like much on the outside, but I think he has fighting capabilities." Ballade then went ahead to one end of the bar to take a seat.

((don't worry, I can fix it))

((retcon powers AWAAAAAYYYYY))

Snake Man frowned. The Snakelets had only managed to retrieve two L-Tanks before Star Man noticed the slowest of the group and took its prize. No matter, it was a minor loss; even with two less Tanks, he knew it would make a serious impact on the robots' behavior. "Ehh, good job boys." Snake Man returned the Snakelets to his buster chamber for later use.

-------------------------------------------------

((and now for filler))

"Are you SURE this is the right way?" Heat Man mumbled from inside his lid.
Bomb Man answered, "Yeah, I'm sure! I've been there TONS of times!"
"You're not allowed there any more," Heat Man noted.
"Yeah, last year was..." Bomb Man shuddered. "Actually, let's not talk about last year."
"You can say THAT one again!" Guts Man complained, rubbing his head from recalling the events.

The group of robots chugged along in Auto's truck. Who else might be coming to the party?

"Hey En, you do know I could blow that counter, and you along with it, sky high? Right,?" Grenade Man growled.

Augh this is going badly, I'm already about to blow and the party's barely started. Grrrrr, out to the crater then.
"I'm goin for a walk, be back soon." he said to no one in particular as he stomped off, after punching Star Man to the ground.

Napalmman pinned Enker's arm to the wall with his bomb arm, Are you trying to start a war? What were you thinking!?

Quickman looked concerned, Um, i dont know what going on, but we don't want trouble, you two. Come on. He reached for Napalm's arm, but Napalm shot him a death look, and Quickman recoiled.

"Hoo boy, this is gonna be a long night.", magnet thought to himself when he noticed the "discussion" between Fake, Grenade, and some of the other robot masters. "I probably shouldn't have come here if this was going to end up like the previous year, and the year before that." Magnet soon walked to the pool and sat down on one of the chairs located near the pool. "Maybe if I just ignore whats going on, this party will get a bit better."

Plant Man sighed. People were already getting upset all over the place. "Can't we all just calm down... Uh..."

A faint noise distracted him. What seemed to be some sort of far away explosion. "Are they starting the fireworks already?" Plant Man wondered outloud.

"Hm? What is it, Planty?" Honey Woman asked Plant Man, hearing that he said something but not what he said.

"It's nothing." Plant Man replied.

Enker writhed his arm free from Napalm Man's hold. Answering his question with a grin that suggested an undeserved sense of accomplishment, Enker left the bar and approached the pool, but not before snagging an E-Tank for himself. Sitting in a poolside chair and sipping his drink, Enker watched Terra swim about in the pool. As he finished his drink, Enker absentmindedly tossed the empty can backwards towards Flame Man...

Fake-Man watched, in a sense of awe, as the situation resolved itself.  Search Snakes nabbed some L-Tanks and took them away; Star-Man got off easily, with only a punch; Grenade-Man recognized the fact he was getting mad and was walking away to cool off.  Putting a hand to his chin, he mused out loud.  "Seems these New Year's parties have a method to their madness."

He walked back to the bar and grabbed his shot, toasting to himself what seemed to be an easy job.  Had he not decided to have that shot, he might have sensed something in the air.  A slight off-breeze that didn't match the wind, or a vibration in the ground that could only mean that something was coming.

God, what a prick. As Enker left with a smug smile on his face, Napalm seethed with rage. I knew Starman was snarky, but this guy....he gets under my armor. Napalmman had half a mind to go blow that smirk straight off his face, but as Quickman helped Star up, he looked at Napalm and shook his head. Now conscious of the festivities he had been blind to due to his rage, Napalm slumped into this chair and let out a raspy sigh. This is gonna be a long evening.

Quickman walked over to Napalm and sat down beside him, Look, man. I know you're not exactly fond of everyone here, but you're only getting rustier just sitting around alone.
What do you suggest I do then? Talk to the RMs that are deathly afraid of me?
Well, I'm not....and I don't think Flameman would mind.
Napalm looked over to Flameman. .........

Tengu Man looks over to the Officer sitting beside him. Disgusted by his presence, he scoots his stool away to the other side of Ballade. He whispers, "Hey, buddy, doesn't that cop right there just add so much tension to this damn party? I swear, this is the reason I didn't come here last year. Because there's always that one little aspect that just screws everything up for me."

He orders another E-Tank and drinks it all in one gulp. "Man, this party blows more than I blow wind."

Flame Man was watching Grenade Man intently. What was going on in Wily's mind when he programmed such a brute? No matter, he thought, as he sat back in his chair normally and began to doze off.

The E-Tank whacked Flame Man in the face, causing him to jump out of his chair in a defensive stance. He nervously scanned the area around before looking down and he found Enker below him. Flame Man crushed the E-Tank and impaled the can on his helmet spike. "You're just full of yourself today, aren't you," he grunted as he sat back down.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!* outside of town a massive explosion rocked the landscape, bigger than a Flash Bomb by far.
Stupid star faced twinkle toed pest. I really wish this crater had him in it. Maybe my Brother, Sword Man, has showed up, and i might be able to keep my head for the rest of the night.

Sword Man jumped up off the couch he was relaxing on and started telling the other robots not to worry about the massive explosion. "It's just Grenade Man cooling down. No need to worry about it." With that he sat back down and powered off his anti-grav, to take a nap.

Plant Man jumped from the explosion. "...Why did I invite that guy?" He muttered to himself.

It was at this point that things went downhill. A series of explosions went through the city, each one happening a few seconds after the other. They seemed to be heading towards the party itself.

At the last explosion, Plant Man could've sworn that he saw a huge group of Robot Masters silhouetted by the bright light. From that brief flash, Plant Man saw that they looked just like the group at the party. He couldn't be sure, as that mysterious group teleported away as the explosions stopped.

"...I'm scared." Honey Woman said, holding Plant Man tight.
"So am I, Honey... So am I." Plant Man replied, holding onto her just as tight.

Bubble Man awkwardly waddled in. He had shown up late to the party and was hoping he hadn't missed much. He figured the best thing to do would be to greet his host, and he picked Plant Man out of the group and approached.

"Hey there, thanks for putting this thing together, yup! I've really been looking for a break, what with all the--" Bubble Man stopped mid-sentence as his gaze settled on the pool. He made a beeline for it, tripping on one of Grenade Man's empty cans, followed by Flame Man's chair, and finally Enker's outstretched leg, and landed in the pool with a splash. Despite this, he remained in good spirits and swam about with no care in the world.

Fake-Man suddenly looked up to hear an explosion.  His first thought:  it's time.  Spinning the barrel of his revolver, he took aim at the sound.  The explosions came quickly, but he could find no target.  The explosions marched on, but there seemed to be nothing to shoot at.  Suddenly, for a split second, he thought he saw the silhouette of...himself?  No, it couldn't be...his eyes must have been playing tricks on him.  The only characters capable of disguises were the Dark-Men and Copy Robot, and neither of those had been seen for some time.  He was getting ready to fire a shot when the shadow vanished, as quickly as it had appeared.

Lowering his revolver slowly, looking around shiftily, he fumbled and equipped his mouthplate, and finally muttered, "...Okay, what the hell was that?"

"Poor Plantman." Magnet said to himself. "All he wanted to do was throw a party for new years and for it to go off without a hitch. Poor guy." Just as he finished that sentence,a loud tune that sounded like a mix of Spanish and Polka music blared across the Square. "What the hell is that music?!" Magnet said as he stood up out his seat. Just as the music seemed to get louder, a racing vehicle soon zipped out from the entrance an into the party. The vehicle drove at an incredible speed while narrowly missing the participants of the party. The vehicle soon stopped and transformed into a blue and green robot with a visor and little red eyes. "Oh crap it's Turboman." Magnet said in his thoughts as soon as he saw him. "YEEHAW! Was that an entrance or what?" Turbo shouted after his "Grand' entrance. The party goers just stared at him after that. "What no applause?"

Seeming to be stumbling, it was obvious he was drunk. While in this drunk state, he took it even further by flirting with Honey Woman. "Hey my little bumble bee, you're looking mighty fine. Napalmman and Quickman got up to the sound of explosions. Flame Man growled audibly at the sound of explosions. Looks like the only time he'd truly get relaxation would be the first five minutes after he stepped through the door. No matter, he thought as he stood up and walked over to Plant Man. There was one of the foreign robots from earlier, desperately trying to die of alcohol electrocution or something.

"Any idea as to what's going on here?" Flame Man asked his former ally.

Star Man had chatted with Honey Woman for a bit until they left for another section of the party-ground. "Made your move, Star, made yo-" At this moment, Star Man was knocked square on his side, crumbling to the ground from a sucker punch by Grenade Man. "Why, that lousy, no-good..." he muttered when he saw Quick Man extending a hand. Grabbing it, he thanked him when he heard the explosions rock the city. "What the heck was-" he said as he turned torward them and saw himself silhoutted in the flash. "...Hey, Planty? Was that supposed to happen, or what?"

"It's about time I found this place," Reliever Man muttered as he walked up to the party's location. "Must've taken half an hour to get here." He entered the party and saw the many party-goers. ((god damn it I keep reading "Planty" as "Panty"))

Snake Man removed his shades that he was totally wearing between scenes. There was a loud noise followed by incoherent screaming, which he assumed to be Grenade Man, but after that... more explosions? Then the pool lit up from whatever was happening in the sky. A flash of light, some silhouettes, and... teleporting Guts Man?

"What the Gamma... ?" Snake Man muttered to himself. "Ehh... this can't be good news in the slightest..."

He turned to the gates and saw Auto's truck pull up, with a sizable group of Robot Masters huddled in the back. Snake Man smiled. Maybe the visions were just his imagination. It didn't matter to him anymore, Heat Man had this strange intangible charm to him. His simple design, those dopey eyes, or maybe that nerdy laugh. He didn't even have to try very hard to lighten up the mood. Snake Man also noticed a few other robots like Guts Man, Pump Man, and...

Oh no.

Not him.

Snake Man avoided waving to Heat Man, sinking in the pool to avoid being seen by...

"Bomb Man." He hissed to himself in disgust.

"Alright buddy, it's gooooooooooood to go" says the Metool Crew as they finish Galaxyman's repairs. Galaxyman had fallen asleep during this time, too oblivious of any noise. He wakes up and looks around, only to see a mass amount of arguing, PlantmanxHoneywoman crying in a corner, and Snakeman trying to be the next Snape.

Amongst his looking about, he remembers that he was in fact invited to this party. A thought occurred: where was his gift? He had forgotten to bring one. It was at this point that the group was suddenly surrounded by Police Joes. Stepping into the circle was what seemed to be another Fake Man.

"So, you are the ones responsible for this!" The duplicate(?) Fake Man said.

"Wh-what?! No! We didn't-" Plant Man started to explain.

"SILENCE!!" Fake(?) Man shouted. He pointed his revolver-buster at Plant Man.

A single shot was fired that pierced straight through Plant Man's ches plate. He fell backwards, a stunned expression on his face. Honey Woman was horrified, and knelt down to him to pick him up.

"You imposters are all to be decommisioned immediately!" Fake(?) Man shouted, and the Police Joes raised their busters.

((also I could've really used Heat right about now - glares at Rozark))

Well, scrap. Snake Man put his shades back on. Just when I was almost having fun. He got out of the pool with his hands up.

"Look, buddy, I don't appreciate you bustin' my friend up, ehh?" Snake Man looked at Questionable Man. "We're just trying to have a party on New Year's. I don't know who's going around attacking the city, but for once you're jumping and shooting at the wrong set of thematically-organized battle robots. Honestly, I'm a bit disgusted. I could just spit, ehh."

"... Actually, I think I will."

Snake Man spit at the ground, though it wasn't saliva of any sort. The blob hit the grass and formed into a Snakelet nearly instantly, crawling up to Snake Man's chest plate. With a single tap, a door opened and a swarm of Snakelets jumped out to surround their master.

"Ehh, how's about you let us have our fun? Or do we all have to party on your eight-bit metal asses?"

Before a response even came from Plant Man, the answer made itself apparent. The place was surrounded. Flame Man knew there was alcohol here, but jeez, no need to bring explosions to the mix. Another cop came in. Great, Flame Man grumbled to himself. I wonder if he's going to perform a "random background check" like I got at the airport. "Random" indeed. Plant Man tried to calm the man down, but shots were fired nearly instantly.

Flame Man watched in horror as Plant Man collapsed nearby him. As Honey Woman cared for him, however, he understood what needed to be done. It's been a long time since I've had to do this, he thought to himself. Only this time, it's more than selfish desire.

Flame Man instantly dashed forward, leaping at the last possible second. On his way down, he began launching fireballs at Fake Man?, purposely missing some to create some pillars of fire around the impostor. He landed behind Fake Man? with an audible thud, and began preparing for another attack.

Finally arriving at the MegaMart, Galaxyman flies out and heads into the store. "DOO-DOO" goes the bell as the sliding door opens. Basking in the smell of what is simply known as "Store", he stands for a moment before moving on. The other robot masters in the back had no clue what was going on. Auto decides to go in and pick up some potato chips because he had a craving for some mashed potaters.

Up and down the aisles Galaxyman went. People and children of all ages watched in terror as the robot walked amongst them like a normal being. No amounts of sugar, confetti, or pizza rolls could satisfy the riot that was going down at that party. He needed something bigger, yes, something bigger than a disco ball.

Hours passed and the robots were restless. Tired of listening to Space Jam for the 43rd time, they were about ready to just steal Auto's car when suddenly Auto walks casually out of the store snacking on his chips. Licking his fingers from the chip dust, he remembers that he had a party to go to. Quicker than Quickman with speed boots he hopped back into his truck and sped off back towards the flashing lights in the sky.

Galaxyman decides to ask the manager where the big things are kept. "Sorry, I don't speak English" said the manager in English. Galaxyman blinks for a moment, then proceeds to throw a black hole bomb at the manager. "WHY ME I DID NO-" were the manager's last words before he went into the abyss. The black hole dissipates into oblivion. With that out of the way, Galaxyman proceeds to the general back of the store.

Bursting a hole through yet another wall, he came across the perfect party favor. Smiling absurdly, he finds a Disco truck full of confetti, a casket of Etanks, and a crate marked "OPEN IN CASE OF EMERGENCIES". The man of space hops into the vehicle and drives off through the middle of the store, onwards back towards the party. An angry janitor follows, wildly waving his mopstick as he forgot that he left the keys in the ignition. Galaxyman hopes that Snakeman will forgive him and not snide boast about his sneaking operations.

Star Man was stunned as his friend collapsed to the floor.  He rushed over to Plant Man and slid in front of him, creating a Star Crash along the way. "We need to move him! Get him to a safer place, I'll cover you!" He fired off a couple of Star Buster shots to ward off incoming Joes, all while staying in front of Plant Man to absorb anything else coming his way.

Of all the things to ruin a party, of course it's gotta be the fuzz, he thought angrily.

Reliever Man was startled when police forces surrounded them. When one Police Joe started firing at him, he dove behind a bush, forming a Rebound Striker in his hand. "These might be Strike Man's, but at least I was programmed with them..." He shot up, got into a pitching stance, and curveballed it into a Joe's side, splitting it in half. Forming another, he fastballed a second Joe right in the chest, sending him to the ground.

"One more," he said as he formed another Rebound Striker. He pitched a sinker that fell onto one unlucky Joe's-

"Ouch," he said quietly as the third Joe fell. He then ducked back to cover, waiting for the fighting to relax.

Suddenly surrounded, Enker leapt up from his seat and drew his Barrier Spear. Making a beeline for the nearest immobilized Police Joe, he delivered a series of quick stabs and finally a powerful kick. The poor sap went flying and landed in the pool with a splash, but it still appeared to be operational. Finally noticing it, Enker removed the empty, crushed, punctured E-Tank from his helmet, and raised his spear, preparing for any attacks that may come his way.

Bubble Man, who was still in the pool, fired a Bubble Lead at the Police Joe. Instead of damaging it directly, it trapped him in an acidic bubble prison. The Police Joe, helpless to escape, floated gently out of the pool, with the acidity of the bubble slowly corroding him. As it floated high enough, Bubble Man fired his buster at the bubble, popping it effortlessly. Police Joe fell to the ground, and with his weakened frame, shattered and fell apart upon impact.

As the Joe bots were slowly torn to shreds within his previous wind sphere attack, Tengu Man noticed the onslaught of the police force kept coming. "Damn! Reinforcements! Nothing I can't handle." Aiming his buster, he shoots a Tornado Hold that sweeps across the ground, flinging all the Joes caught in its suction sent flying. As they fall, Tengu Man quickly ascends and swings his buster, sending a Tengu Blade wind slice flying right at the falling Joes. Slicing them all in half, Tengu Man descends saying "How many of these police force robots are there?! Either way, I'll be sure to take as many as I can down!" Tengu Man readies his buster for the next attack.

(I'll apparently need to control Terra during the weekdays. Buh.)

Terra just now realized what was going on (having been focused on his own matters). He quickly fired a Spark Chaser at one Police Joe and looked at a second one. "My hair gives me teleportation!"

He teleported behind that Joe, smashed his buster off, and shot that Joe as well as the ones around it.

Honey Woman got a fire in her eyes as she carried Plant Man with one arm. With her other arm, she began firing her Sting Cannon at several Joes, tearing them apart as she attempted to get Plant Man to safety. She was glad Star Man was helping cover their escape. "We should get going!"

He was just standing there in the middle of the park, surrounded by his Snakelets, while the Joes and the party guests were busy snapping each other in half. They're Robot Masters! The only thing they really appreciate is a good fight. Talking them down... Heh! As if THAT would have worked...

He decided that he wasn't going to risk embarrassing himself any further. The other RMs looked like they had everything under control, anyway. He knelt to the ground, recalling all but one of the Snakelets back into his buster chamber, then ran back to Plant Man. Honey Woman and Star Man were fighting off the Joes, but it wouldn't do any good once the reinforcements arrived. He lowered his hand, letting the Snakelet crawl to his fingertips and jump from his palm to Plant Man's chassis. Within seconds the Snakelet coiled itself up and formed a makeshift stopper, plugging up the area and protecting it from further damage.

"Ehh... I know it's kinda gross, but it's the best I can do," Snake Man said. He lifted Plant Man up and gave Honey Woman a tap on the shoulder. "Ehh, you know Plant Man the best out of everyone here. I need you to follow us, give us cover. We need to get outta here."

"Unfortunately for you, Toy Story..." Snake Man turned to Star Man, his Star Crash spinning with energy. "YOU should stay here, ehh?" Snake Man gave a sly grin. "That shield of yours can give us a nice exit, so you stay here while I bring in some backup of my own." With that out of the way, he started to drag Plant Man toward some hedges, where they could hopefully slip away unseen. He took a brief pause, though, turning once more to Star Man.

"Oh, and Buzz." Snake Man released three more Snakelets to assist Star Man before returning the favor with a mocking salute of his own. "Ehh, tell Andy I said 'hi' for me."

Snake Man dived towards the brush, Plant Man in tow.

"Hey! When the hell did I turn into Buzz Lightyear?" He grimaced as he held up his shield, covering the three robots to their escape. At least these snakes will help me out until those Joes are gone... he thought as the snakes looked up at him. "Don't just stand there, go get the Joes!" The snakes hurried off and started chewing the Police Joes, chewing at their circuitry and armor. "That Snake Man thinks he's so tough... Well, there's only one lady stealer around here, and that one is ME! I'll get back at him- eventually..." he said to himself as picked off a couple more Joes.
---
Reliever Man had thrown a couple more balls at the attackers when three robots plunked down next to him. He took a look at Snake Man, then Honey Woman, then Plant Man. Pursing his lips, he ignored them and prepared another Rebound Striker- or at least he tried to. "Aw, shit, out of ammo. Stupid prototype design..." he muttered as he looked toward the three robots next to him. "Any of you got something to throw?"

Ballade looked at the scene, primarily the injured Plant Man. "Ah, the taste of a battle, it feels so good! Looks like that robot has shown skill. I'll just aid those guys." He thought to himself, his wrists still prepped.

He targeted a Joe and fired a Ballade Cracker from his wrist. The explosion not only damaged the Joe but it knocked down a few other Joes, causing them to fall down. When they all recovered, they turned their focus to Ballade who proceeds to say "Come at me!".

The small group of Joes he knocked out earlier, along with a few other nearby Joes, surrounded Ballade in all directions. He showed a grin as the Joes charge and when they got near enough, Ballade suddenly jumped high, leaving behind another bomb. It exploded, knocking out the aforementioned Joes. As Ballade toucheed the ground, he finishes off the Joes with two bombs, and amazingly did not make any structual damage.

Fake-Man's eyes had not deceived him; there was, in fact, a doppelganger of himself on the loose...and it had friends in the form of a platoon of lower-ranking policemen.  He watched experimentally from the sideline for a few seconds, watching as the Robot Masters began handling the combat—Spark Chaser, Ballade Cracker; he had never seen so many powerful weapons in one place at the same time.  This party doesn't really even need an authority, if this happens every year, he mused to himself as he instinctively spun the barrel on his arm yet again, took aim at the Fake-Man faker, and fired.
Fake-Man's Fake Revolver had unlimited ammunition, yet only six shots.  After the chambers were emptied of their plasma shots, the barrel had to be spun to reload them.  The tradeoff:  his shots were significantly stronger and flew marginally faster.  Dodging all six shots from one volley of the Fake Revolver was something to be proud of.  Sure enough, as his bullet pierced the faker, its worth was proven once more.  "Shot for a shot," Fake-Man mused coldly as he marched over to his copy.  "Listen, buddy, I don't know who you are or who you work for, and I'd hate to shoot a face so handsome.  However," he continued, spinning the barrel to reload yet again, "I would in a heartbeat to restore peace."

Fake Man(?) turned towards Fake Man. "Don't try to deceive me, you faker! We saw all of you wreck havoc on the city!"

He would have raised his revolver up to attack, but he was too badly damaged from Flame Man's and Fake Man's attacks.

"I have... To get... Justice..."

The bot collapsed, and disintegrated in a small explosion.

Tengu Man then lowers his buster, retracts his fan blades and shortens his razor wings. "How boring. That was hardly even a warmup. Whatever." Tengu Man looks at the destruction made all around. "Damn, quite the mess we made." Looking towards the other Robot Masters, he simply takes a seat and pours himself a cup of green tea to relax himself with (since he always carries a pot of tea with him.) "Whoever wants some, sit with me and get it now."

Fake-Man smiled under his mouthplate as his faker fell over and collapsed into the parts he was made of.  "Justice is served," he mused to himself as he inspected the corpse.  All the same parts...same Fake Revolver components, same badge and hat, everything looked identical—and there was no disguise mechanism in sight.  "The Dark-Men change back into their original form when they sustain heavy damage," he said, putting a hand to his chin, "and Copy Robot should still need his terminal to take on someone else's form so perfectly.  So, if he wasn't either of those guys...who was this guy?"

OOC: Sorry I was gone. School :/

IC: It all happened so fast that Napalmman didn't have time to act, plus he didn't want to blow up his "allies"....or Enker. He walked up to the fake Fake. He then looked at the surrounding robots. So, I wasn't imagining things, meaning that there's a copy of ALL OF US out there somewhere. It's only a matter of time before they come again, so we need to take action. I say we go out there and blow them up. Well?

Quickman disagreed, Let's take a less aggressive approach.

Napalmman turned to Quick, Like what?

I don't know, but blowing stuff up doesn't help. You saw Grenademan just a few minutes ago, right?

You're comparing me to HIM!?

Quickman looked at the other robots sheepishly

((lol this got quiet fast))

Snake Man shrugged at Reliever Man. "Ehh, I only have snakes, kid, and I don't think they enjoy being tossed around. Besides..." He lifted up Plant Man on his back to avoid dragging him through the dirt any longer. "As much as I'd love to watch a Chuckster get to chuckin', ehh, I have more urgent matters on my hands."

The trio of nature-themed Robot Masters slipped through the other side of the bushes, where they were suddenly stopped by...

"Auto!" Snake Man cheered. "Boy, am I glad to see you! ... Ehh, what's with the potato chips?"
Auto rubbed his neck nervously. "Heh heh... we stopped for party favors?"

"Whatever," Snake Man shrugged. "Ehh, here really isn't much of a party anymore." He motioned toward the park. "A doppelganger Fake Man tried to attack us, along with the Trooper Joes, ehh. Plant Man here's pretty beat up, and there might be some injuries back at the park."

"Ooh, that's just not right!" Heat Man grumbled, flipping his lid open. "Lemme at 'em! Lemme at 'em!"

There was a loud explosion, followed by the sight of circles filling the sky. A Robot Master was just defeated.

"Cripes," Snake Man huffed. "Ehh, we better get over there fast. You just hold on a little longer," he told Plant Man as he put him in the back of the truck along with the horde of other Robot Masters. Honey Woman and Snake Man got in soon after, and the robot swarm drove around the park back to the front entrance, ready to assist anyone who needed the help.

Star Man watched as Faker Man blew up. He had been hit in the shoulder when his Star Crash ran out of energy, but he did his job- he got Plant Man to safety... sort of.

"Hmph... stupid Snake Man being the hero... I'll show him. Later, anyway," he mumbled when Auto's truck rumbled in, bringing Plant Man, Honey Woman, and Snake Man with it, along with a couple of other robots. His concern came back as he dashed back to the truck, offering a hand to help Honey Woman down. "Are you all right?" he asked sincerely, which almost shocked him. Gee whiz, I almost never care much about women! And I haven't even drank a drop yet! That fight really threw off my mojo... He glanced at Plant Man, who was clearly in bad shape, while waiting for the female robot.
---
Reliever Man eventually popped his head out of the bushes, and jogged back to the general party area. He took a look at the damaged Joes, and the fake robot's remains in front of him. He looked at the pile of dust, scratching his head.

"...There's no IC chip," he muttered silently. IC chips held a robot's personality and memory- as long as they weren't destroyed, the robots could be rebuilt. As a result, the chips were made virtually indestructible in order to prevent coding them again (which was usually a pain), but none were present in the ash. "Something isn't right... the IC chip must have been eliminated before this fake bot was defeated- maybe to prevent tracking whoever did this." Wily and Light had the habit of putting their logos on their chips- maybe whoever did this didn't want to be caught...

"I- I'm fine." Honey Woman said. "I'm sturdier than I look. But Plant Man... I'm really worried about him. He just wanted to have a good time..."

She gave a sad sigh. She held Plant Man's hand tightly. "You'll pull through... Please, please pull through..."

Why I oughta- Napalmman stopped as he saw Reliever Man surveying the remnants of the fake Fake as well. Napalmman looked at Reliever, So you noticed it, too, huh? No IC chip...

Quickman saw Napalmman walk off and sighed. He just wished everyone would stop fighting and provoking each other pointlessly. Then, he heard a worried, female voice near Auto's truck that had just pulled up. He ran over and saw Honey Woman holding Plantman, with Star just kinda awkwardly standing there. What happened to Plantman?

Finishing his pot of tea, Tengu Man stands back up. Walking over towards the other Robot Masters, he over hears their conversations. "Dopplegangers eh? Everyone knows I'm the one and only Tengu Man! I have no equal!" Flicking his nose, he turns around and takes a seat on the end of the truck and puts a hand on the bottom of his head. "Sheesh, what a night. We got a dying Plant and scrap scattered everywhere. This can't possibly get any worse."

"He's hurt pretty bad, unfortunately." Star Man looked at the deactivated body of Plant Man, a bullet wound clean through his chest. The poor guy didn't even see it coming... these guys were scarier than Wily when he's angry. Almost. Looking up at Honey Woman, he frowned as she gripped his hand, pleading for him not to go. He jumped up into the truck, and tapped her shoulder. "I think it would be best to get Planty here to someone who can fix him before it's too late," he said quietly to the yellow robot. "Do you think Light can repair him? Because I know for sure Doc Wily won't lay a finger on him without giving him some sort of death weapon..."
---
Reliever Man looked over at the robot who joined him. "There's something awfully fishy about this, don't you think? What's the meaning of all this, anyway? How could anyone pull off an attack with robots that destroy their IC chip when defeated? This doesn't seem like Wily's doing... and it's something I want to find out. How about we go off and find whoever's doing this?"

Ballade looked at the carnage filling the venue. "That was a great battle except they were weak..." He cracks a small grin as he walks across the area, but it was quickly lost when he saw the broken body of a different-looking robot. It was the duplicate Fake Man. "Duplicates." Ballade remembered when he suspected Wily making clones of him.

Right after that, he walked away to who-knows-where, returning his grin but in his path, he did not know the truck was nearby. He just stayed on where he was standing, his expression changing again. He saw Plant Man by the truck and remembered him as the party host and the robot that got badly damaged. "Looks like they did their part well." Ballade said quietly. He just stayed there, waiting for the truck to move.

Flame Man looked at the remains of Fake Man? along with everyone else.

"He said that 'we are the ones responsible for this'." Flame Man said, to no one in particular. "Any of you have a fraction of an idea as to what 'this' is?"

He looked over to the truck with Plant Man inside. "And 'we' must have done something pretty sticky in order for him to want us scrapped this badly," he concluded, lost in thought.

Galaxyman continues to drive closer and closer to the party, the lights growing brighter with each passing moment. At least, he thought he was. Those giant lights he saw were spotlights; the entire police force on him with helicopters. Apparently he passed by a lamppost and forgot to go to the special zone because the dazzle from his Disco car made a nearby clone Fakeman spontaneously combust. He thought they wanted his Disco car; they weren't going to have it without a fight.

Some confetti flew out of the back, blinding nearby officers and forcing them into a party mode. "PULL OVA WE HAS U SURROUND" said a young fakeman. Apparently it was "Bring your daughter to work day" so that was a thing. The young fakeman threw her cellphone at the Disco car to try and stop it; it bounced off and was nowhere to be found. The young fakeman began to cry and scream obnoxiously until the bigger Fakeman called off the chase in pursuit of the clearly more important search of his daughter's cell phone.

Galaxyman let out a sigh of relief and continued on his journey back towards the party, now with only the mystery crate and Etanks remaining. Meanwhile the janitor has exhausted himself. Looking to the side he sees some kids bragging about their motorcycles. He quietly pushes over the majority of the motorcycles and flies off with another, leaving the kids to their card games. "ooo yee, I'll get that bucket of bolts" said the Janitor as he rides down the open road.

Star Man ran over to Auto's truck, his face stricken with genuine despair. Snake Man had failed to realize it, but during their short-lived escape Plant Man had passed out, completely unconscious. The Snakelet in Plant Man's chest wiggled a little bit, still sealing the hole with its coiled-up body. Star Man noticed the Snakelet was there and had a quick look of disgust before regaining his composure and whispering something to Honey Woman.

"Do you think Light can repair him? Because I know for sure Doc Wily won't lay a finger on him without giving him some sort of death weapon..."

Snake Man chuckled. Wily was always up to no good, building a set of eight Robot Masters to attack the city... or just stealing Robot Masters that someone else made for him. He's been at it... what, fifteen times now? Or was it closer to twenty? It was like some perverse ritual. Even simple robots like Gemini Man, whose only power was to create temporary clones of himself, were weaponized and given different attacks tuned to their element, such as the reflective Gemini Laser.

"Wait a minute..." Snake Man muttered to himself. "Wily... death weapons..."

He had a sudden realization. "I've got it! Star Man! Honey Woman!" He jumped from the truck and landed in front of the two.

"I need you to shoot me in the face. As hard as you can."

Seeing the battle had already been won just as quickly as it had begun, Enker stowed his spear and tossed the crushed E-Tank aimlessly backwards. It happened to hit Bubble Man, who was struggling to climb out of the pool. He fell back in with a splash.

His eyes scanning the field, Enker saw the remains of Police Joes and a fake Fake Man laying about. "Grenade Man still did a better job of trashing this place last year...," he muttered under his breath. Enker approached Auto's truck, wondering what in the heck called for an attack like that, and watched with interest what would surely prompt Snake Man to seek facial reconstruction.

"...Uhm... Why would I do that?" Honey Woman asked, confused as all heck. She then felt something tugging at her arm lightly. Surprised, she looked down to see that Plant Man was awake. He was smiling, though you could still tell that he was in a lot of pain.

"H-hey." He said.
"Planty!" Honey Woman exclaimed as she hugged him.
"It's almost midnight. Just 10 more seconds." Plant Man said, pointing at a large clock with his free hand.

Honey Woman looked up; He was right. It was 11:59 PM.

10...
9...

7...

"Happy new years." Plant Man said before giving Honey Woman a soft kiss on the lips.

Snake Man sighed. "I need access to my critical protocol, ehh, and that can only happen when I'm in a weakened state. Plant Man took a visit to the other side of nasty, and I'd feel better if he had some form of... ehh, immediate repair."

"Speaking of Plant Man..." Snake Man noticed Plant Man wiggle around a bit. Then he tugged on Honey Woman's arm with what little strength he had remaining. "H-hey... it's almost midnight. Just a few more seconds." He weakly pointed toward the clocktower.

Oh yeah, Snake Man thought while the clock ticked towards the new year. The plan was supposed to be a New Year's party, wasn't it? This will make a great story to tell the guys... Snake Man looked back to the truck and the other Robot Masters. The clock struck midnight, and the air lit up with a dazzling array of fireworks. It's a lot more interesting than saying "I had the robot flu", that's for sure.

Honey Woman leaned over and gave Plant Man a sweet kiss. The Snakelet in Plant Man's chest let out a squeal, closing its eyes.

When the clock struck at midnight, Ballade looked into the sky, letting out yet another small grin. He saw the fireworks show and thought to himself, "This world, it has a lot more to it than combat. This looks like the best time to make a resolution." His admiration to the fireworks show and the fun setting of the party before the chaos made Ballade realise he was missing out on a lot. He spoke out his resolution, "I will make Mega Man proud by taking down evil and punishing it for the danger it causes. Then, I will enjoy life outside of combat. REMEMBER THIS WORLD, I AM MKN-003 BALLADE AND I AM NO LONGER A MEGA MAN KILLER!"

After Star Man heard Snake Man's explanation, he shrugged and held up his buster. I'll take any excuse I can get to shoot you, you slippery bastard, he thought silently as he unloaded on Snake Man's back, putting six Star Buster shots into him. "Happy New Year, from me to you." Looking at it, it did seem to hurt a lot. He almost wanted to say sorry. Almost.

Directing his attention to Plant Man, he smiled as he finally woke up. "Nice to see you awake, sleepy head, but in that condition you won't be awake much longer. We're gonna have to take you to somewhere to get fixed... and fast," he added as oil started to leak out from underneath the Snakelet plugging the wound. When a loud booming sound was heard, he jumped, but noticed it was only the fireworks. He then frowned slightly. He watched Plant Man waking up, watched him and Honey Woman kiss. I sure wish I knew what that tradition felt like, he thought sadly. And everyone says Wily's the villain... maybe Light is, for making everyone a guy. He should've made more female robots... Shaking his head, he turned back to Plant Man. "We'd better get moving soon."
---
Reliever Man was still standing with Napalm Man when the fireworks went off. He smiled a bit. This is even better than our home run celebrations, he thought, watching the firecrackers whistle upwards and explode into dazzling bursts of color. As pretty as the sight was, he refocused himself and looked back to the fake robot's remains. "We need to get to the bottom of this..."

At the sound of an explosion, Fake-Man looked up, and saw the fireworks illuminating the night sky.  "Now is no time for celebrating," he said to no one, "but I can afford a few seconds."  He pointed his Fake Revolver up with one hand, and fired a shot between each pause:  "Here's to another 20XX of Robotics...may the new Robots be strong and intelligent...may our great heroes remain ever vigilant in fighting for everlasting peace...and may Dr. Wily's harebrained scheme fall apart at the seams!"

Spinning to reload, his face turned from wistful to stern in an instant, like a muscle he had allowed to relax but was now holding tight once more.  "Alright, that's enough celebration for now.  If there's a Fake-Man faker roaming the streets—and he thinks he's me, no less—you can bet your bolts that they wouldn't just send one Robot.  The choice is, do we hunt them down or wait for them to hunt us?  Given how little we know about our foe, hunting them would be suicide, so I'm staying right where I am.  Auto, see if you can't repair Plant and anyone else who might be injured.  Everyone else...get ready."

Napalm was deep in thought, Could it be possible there was NO IC chip? No, he had a compulsion to kill Fakeman, meaning he had feeling/personality. But if the creator wanted the chip to be destroyed...He asked Reliever without looking at him, Maybe the creator made a fragile IC chip on purpose? To cover his tracks, that is. Either way, why would he do that? What's to gain for us by putting this Fakeman's homicidal IC chip into another robot?

Quickman stood there awkwardly watching the situation resolve itself. He looked around and saw Napalm with Reliever. Happy that Napalm had finally started talking to someone, he ran back over and asked, Hey, guys what's wrong?

Someone, covered in shadows, smiled to him/herself. "Ahaha, all according to plan. Everyone thinks that the real Robot Masters are fakes, and my fakes the real! Everything is coming together..."

Back at the city...

Plant Man smiled a bit. "So you wanted me to-" He started to say before Star Man took care of it. "Er... Okay then. Snake, what's the rest of your plan?" He asked. "And perhaps we should be covert? I don't know if whoever's doing this is watching us."

Star Man gave a sly grin. "Happy New Year, buddy... from me to you."

BLAP BLAP BLAP BLAP BLAP BLAP

The sound of damage. It had been a while since he last heard it, but it was still all too familiar. Snake Man reeled back in pain with each hit, his frame shaking from the knockback force. The six shots from Star Man had nearly knocked Snake Man into the park fence, though he still had enough force to recover.

"Ehh... heh heh... right back at you, Buzz..."

Snake Man walked back to Plant Man. "For this next part, I'm going to have to knock you out again. And just so there aren't any objections..."

((this is the part where I'M CHEATING))

Before anyone could give those words any proper thought, Snake Man gave a solid uppercut to Plant Man right in the chin. Heat Man flipped his lid in shock, and Honey Woman probably let out a scream. Plant Man rose up in the air while Snake Man prepared a Snakelet in each hand. Right before Plant Man hit the floor, Snake Man threw the two Snakelets at him, bouncing him off-the-ground, then fired a third Snakelet directly into the hole carved in Plant Man's chest plate.

"Snake Eyes!" Snake Man yelled as he shot the miniature snake, his eyes glowing red. This time, Plant Man stopped in the air instead of hitting the ground a second time. Within seconds his chest lit up in a similar red glow, then his entire frame. Soon, the levitating Plant Man was surrounded by colourful pink and red petals. The flowers swirled in the air, enveloping Plant Man with their protective force. Right before their eyes, Plant Man's chest sealed up with a makeshift metal patch. Plant Barrier faded away along with the red glowing, and Plant Man landed on the ground with both feet, back to his senses.

((CHEAT THAT WAY, SPONGEBOB))

"Ehh, now before you get mad," Snake Man said to Plant Man and Honey Woman, "I didn't really have a choice but to force a quick nap on you. Ehh, you were too weak to even move, so I had my snakes access your weapon data directly, ehh? I remembered about the modifications made to Plant Barrier..." Snake Man motioned to Star Man. "The barrier has the power to, ehh, restore a Robot Master's damage. I just knocked you out and forced the barrier to activate."

Snake Man walked closer to Plant Man, looking at his chest. "This will hold up a lot better until we can get you repaired properly. Ehh... unfortunately, my snake's still in there, so you shouldn't eat anything with a lot of... ehh, salt in it. Don't want a sick snake moving around your circuits, ehh."

((darn it just go accept Guts Man already))

Ballade's previous grin changed to worry as he realises that he has no idea where to start being a hero. However, he thought of someone who could help... Dr. Light. He thought to himself, "I heard Mega Man has been getting better with the aid of a genius. I should go find the man and request for his aid on my redemption. However, I do not know his location..." He only built more worry. Therefore, looked for directions by asking various robots around the venue the same question: "Excuse me for bothering you, but where can you find the location of the genius who has been working with Mega Man?"

"Keep in mind that the place may be heavily protected, Ballade. So you better come well armed or you may meet your demise." Terra said before walking away to somewhere.

"Ghh... Well that hurt." Plant Man said, scratching his head a bit. "I could have sworn my combat abilities were removed, but they must have just been switched off... At least I can use my Plant Barrier now."

He slowly got up. "Though... Do you think we might have been framed for all this? It would be best to perhaps go to Cossack. He can keep a secret, and he also happens to be in town. Brought his daughter for fireworks, though he's likely to leave soon due to the violence. We need to find the guy first."

Star Man sneered when he heard Plant Man's idea. "Do you really think that's the best idea? Finding one guy in a city with a population exceeding 500,000 without a clear idea where he might be, and hope that if we find him, he might help us?" He scoffed, shaking his head. "We'd have better luck heading into Canada and becoming scented-candle salesmen."

He gripped Plant's shoulder, eyeing him sternly. "We need to go where we know we can get help, not to where we might get help. Dr. Light will listen. He's got the tools and necessary equipment needed to solve this. For all we know, Cossack may be halfway across the Atlantic, hightailing it out to Russia. Light will know what to do. Besides, even if he doesn't listen to us, he'll listen to your gi- erm, Honey Woman, and probably Snake Boy over here, since he was half built by him. That's where I'm going, no doubt about it. If you want to waltz around the city while fifteen or so killer robots rampage around the city, be my guest, Plant. I'm heading where it's safe."
---
Reliever Man looked at the two robots who wished to join him. "Very well. You can accompany me if you wish. The only thing we need to know now is which direction to head off into. From the looks of it, the explosions went east from here, towards the sea. That'll be where we're going... heck, maybe there's a barge there that didn't unload the fireworks yet and they're hoping to commandeer it."

Reliever Man then looked worried. "...If that's the case, we better move, now."

OOC: Idea: how about Star, Snake, and Plant go to Light, and we'll find Cossack at the sea?

IC: Then let's go. Napalm revved up his tank treads, and he, Quickman, and Reliever headed to the sea.

Napalm didn't find anything out of the ordinary at the beach. Sea shells, a ton of sand, and.....flipper prints? He saw Quickman a ways off and called him, Hey, Quickman? Come over here. Quickman dashed over rather quickly ( ) and asked, What's up? See these prints here? Who or what do you think made them? Quickman raised an eyebrow, Why're you askin' me? Just look at them. Do they remind you of anyone or am I wrong? Quickman rubbed his chin, ....Y'know, come to think of it, they kinda look like Bubbleman's... Exactly. So either our Bubbleman went exploring without us, or- The fake Bubbleman is HERE! Napalmman looked blankly at Quickman, Yes, that. Quickman sighed, Sorry again, it's just that it's been so long since anything interesting happened around here, y'know? Napalm understood. Napalm turned and called for Reliever, Hey, Reliever! We foun- Suddenly, a small, high-speed bubble shot hit him in the back, catching him off-balance and knocking him over. He got up and turned around to the sea, where he saw a giant shrimp surrounded by smaller ones. Atop the giant shrimp was none other then Bubbleman. "How dare you villains come here to my domain! Leave now before your parts are forever lost to the sea!" Napalm looked at Quick, who smiled wryly and nodded back to him. ;)

A mysterious figure was overhearing the dialogue between the Robot Masters. He scratched his orange beard as the moonlight reflected off his glasses. "Hmm... Perhaps this situation is much more complex than I thought." He said in a thick Russian accent.

He kept his distance, and let the rest of the incident play out.

With the piece of information he got, Ballade said "Thanks." He did not say anything else regarding Terra. Ballade just tracked down the coordinates and remembered the picture. Then he left the venue, with all the robots he asked staring at him for a moment. He went on a good on-foot journey searching for Light's Lab.

Bubbleman?'s shrimps grow blasters out of their backs and started swarming onto the shore, buster shots flying. They definitely didn't do THAT before! Quickman thought to himself. Napalmman wasn't backing down though, with both arms, he was pouring out Napalm Bombs at every shrimp he saw, and the buster shots bounced right off of his immense armor. He looked like he could handle himself, but Quickman knew the giant shrimp was just going to create more, so he had to act fast, which was his specialty. He looked back and hoped that Reliever would reach the fight in time to help...............no, Reliever was still a ways away, although he was running towards the fight. Quickman turned back around and saw Bubbleman? aiming a Bubble Lead shot at Napalm. Oh no ya don't. Quick as a bullet, Quickman hurled a boomerang at the bubble device on Bubbleman?'s head, which missed the bubble shooter itself, but smacked Bubbleman? and hit him off the giant shrimp with a yowl and out of view of Quickman. Quickman tried to look around the other side of the giant shrimp, but he couldn't without getting in Napalm's way. Suddenly, a gray bubble shot out of the water and encased Quickman inside of it. Quickman tried to get out, but it felt like it was made of titanium. Quickman started yelling help as his body started tickling. Without even looking, Napalm aimed an arm at the bubble, then shot a flurry of small missiles out of a wrist blaster protruding from his arm, similar to Quickman's. The bubble resisted, then popped with a resounding noise that sounding like gunfire. Quickman got up and saw Bubbleman's  head sticking out of the water, glaring at Quickman. He's trying to lure me into the water, but how else will I be able fight him?

(Finite said that i can join in)

Gemini Man quietly watched the commotion from a raised location on the beach. "I WOULD like to help Quick Man, but for some reason, my circuitry disagrees." He thought to himself. "My circuitry is to elegant to be destroyed." Gemini Man mumbled to himself.

Hearing Quickman's yells of terror, Terra focused on the location and instantly warped there. Firing some sparks here and there, Terra blasted the Giant Shrimp's eyes. He then fired a large hunk of rock at it, finishing it off with a bang as Quick and Napalm fought Bubbleman?. He chucked a rock at Bubbleman?'s head giving the 2 some time to attack.
"Take him out guys!" Terra yelled as he floated above the water.

*BOOOM* "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah" Grenade Man slammed into the ground about three blocks away from the party, with a major headache. "Why did Ballad just blast me in the face?" He began stomping toward the site of the party, ready for a fight.

Sword Man wakes up from his powered down state to see a view of carnage. "What happened while I slept? It would seem that you all slaughtered half the police force, with good reason, I hope." With that he stood up, and went to talk with Fake-Man.

As Bubbleman? watched in shock as Terra appeared out of nowhere and demolished his giant shrimp, Napalm kicked a shrimp by his foot and aimed both wrist blaster at Bubbleman?. The swarm of tiny missiles (approx. 10 per wrist) staggered Bubbleman? backwards as Quickman took the opportunity and rushed Bubbleman?, uppercutted him in the face, grabbed him by the neck, and threw him into a rock, smashing his bubble shooter. As Bubbleman? staggered to get up, Quickman wasted no time to run behind him and chicken wing his buster behind him, holding a boomerang to his throat with the other. Napalm walked up and asked, What's with the welcoming committee, fake? Bubbleman? frowned and said, Don't insult my intelligence! You're the fakes, and you blew up my lair, along with half the city! Napalmman put a bomb to Bubbleman?'s chest. I'm not laughing. Why are you attacking us? Bubbleman? looked like he was thinking. TALK! Then Bubbleman? seemed to have a moment of realization. You mean....you don't remember? What the hell are you going on about!? Oh, no...you don't remember because- Suddenly, a metal blade shot out of the water, flew inches away from Napalm, spliced Bubbleman?'s head in half, and would've caught Quickman on the shoulder if he didn't zip out of the way. Napalm shot a head rocket towards the water, but except for an explosion of wet sand and water, nothing...

OOC: Also, Finite, idk if you want to bring Cossack in now or....yea

Gemini Man finally decided to just be a man and just jumped down from his raised location, and blurted out something; "Hello my fellow Robot Masters and Stardroid, i have been watching this kitten fight from above; even Toad Man could put up a better fight." Gemini Man immediatley blocked his face so that if some robot master would punch him in his face, it would be blocked. Out of the corner of his eye, he thought he saw Bubble Man? move.

Fake-Man could only watch as everyone began to wander off without him.  "Ignoring a man in uniform?  ...Hmph.  I have neither the authority nor the desire to arrest you for that.  I certainly have no intention of going anywhere until I know who to arrest."  He was building makeshift barricades around New City Square when a groggy-looking Sword-Man approached him.  "Good evening, citizen," he said without looking up, "and welcome to another 20XX of Robotics.  You missed the party, the fireworks, and us getting attacked by a Fake-Man faker.  We killed him and his men with no trouble at all, but there was something peculiar about him—he wasn't a Robot who could easily put on a disguise, and there wasn't an IC chip in his remains, either.  The way he was talking made him sound like he thought he was me...now everyone's heading off to find whoever they think knows what's going on.  I'm staying here to reinforce the area as my base of operations.  You'll probably run off yourself, but you're welcome here if you wish."
As he finished stacking sandbag after sandbag all the way around the park's perimeter, Fake-Man tapped the side of his head and activated his radio—defaulting to the Monsteropolis Police Station.  "Hello?  This is Officer Fake-Man, calling from New City Square.  I have just been attacked by a doppelganger of myself and a platoon of Police Joes that he was leading.  All opposing forces have been neutralized, but he wasn't a disguising Robot—he seemed like myself, only emptier.  Requesting additional information.  Over."

After a long journey, Ballade arrived in front of Light's Lab. However, he was greeted by a pair of security robots. "Looks like the green-haired robot was right about the heavy security..." Ballade thought to himself. The robots suspected him of being hostile, but Ballade tried to convince them to let him in. "I am not here to cause harm. I just want to see the owner."

Napalmman went to Bubbleman?'s head halves and saw, again, no IC chip. This makes no sense at all. If we were actually fakes, is he another? Or is HE the real? Then why is there no IC chip either way? Just then Geminiman jumped down and spoke about Bubbleman? being ridiculously easy. Napalmman raised an eyebrow and walked over to him. First you watch and do nothing, then you say that we could've done better. Why are you even here? Quickman rubbed his face; he didn't want another Napalm outbreak, Before we go at each other's throats, why don't you start by answering Napalm's question, Geminiman. If you were just watching, you wouldn't have shown yourself. Why ARE you here if you're not going to help?

"It would seem that someone is trying to confuse us, and cause dissent among our ranks. For what purpose I can not possibly discern." Sword Man said to Fake-Man. "What I can discern is that this person has extensive knowledge about all of us, and I fear when we must face Ballad? Grenade Man? and Napalm Man?. When we do, I only prey that we will be able to defeat such powerful foes."

"HEY! WHAT'S GOING ON, I GET BLOWN UP BY BALLAD AND I SEE YOU ALL KILL BUBBLE MAN, NOT TO MENTION THE SCRAPS OF FAKE-MAN AND ABOUT FIFTY JOE'S!" Grenade Man yelled as he stomped back into what was, at one time, the party. "I WANT ANSWERS NOW!!!"

It was then that a very Russian voice spoke up.

"That was not Bubble Man, at least not the Bubble Man you know."

Dr. Cossack approached the group of Robot Masters at the beach. "That was a fake. Made by whom, I do not know. But we will need to find out in order to stop them."

Quickman was thankful for Cossack's appearance, not only because Cossack had an extensive knowledge of robots and compassion towards robots like Light did, but also because Napalm was about to blow Geminiman the hell up. Napalm turned to the doctor, You're that one guy, Cossack? Well, nice to see you. Napalm turned back to Gemini when Quickman stepped in between them, Napalm, please control yourself for the better of the team, which just happens to be made up of some of the only robots that aren't trying to attack you first chance they get. Gemini, I don't care why you're here, just keep your mouth shut. Napalm WILL blow you up, and that's not something you can just block. Quickman sighed, Dr. Cossack, not that I'm not happy to see you, but what are you doing here? Can you help us? Napalm glared at Geminiman, keeping his bomb arms out and ready.

"You make a good point, explosive weapons are dangerous...normally we'd have Mega Man on an issue like this quickly.  Normally he needs a few hours, a day tops to prepare...no excuse for someone like Proto Man or Bass, though.  Wonder where they are..."
Over his quiet, mundane conversation with Sword-Man, Fake-Man was able to hear the sound of approaching footsteps...or, rather, stomps.  He ducked behind the pile of sandbags that was making his barricade, and as he approached he grabbed his hand and pulled him behind, pointing the Fake Revolver at his head.  "Give me three good reasons why I should think you're the real Grenade-Man."

"He seems to be the real one. However you should probably shoot him, just in case." Sword Man said in a flat voice. while looking around at the carnage that had been happening.
