August 21 is apparently the Cutstuffian holiday of Toad Day.

A holiday where people settle down, unwind and take a break from the regular conventions of MM8BDM and Cutstuffery to celebrate the warmth and kindness of Toad Man, who has done nothing for anyone besides make it rain yellow pixel stuff.

We relish in our toad-related shenanigans, fanaticism and extremism.

Changing your user icons/in-game skins/in-game aliases into Toad-related stuff, hosting servers where the goal is all toad-based, creating mods based mostly on Toad Man, plus many other shenanigans.

2013: Toad refugees went to the Classes SH server and started to become a Toad Army that spammed Toad Puns and other Toad Man related stuff. Where we devoted our lives against the enemy of the Toad Revoution, the Hales (and Snake Man). Some screenshots have been posted.

2014: Nothing happened. Nobody cares anymore. Toad Day was a one-off thing. It's dead.

That reminds me of a nightmare back when I was very little. I was in my bedroom (which I shared with my two brothers) in my old house, sitting on my lower bunk bed when all of a sudden the scene froze, and this red screaming creature thing suddenly flew straight out of a wall and into my face (like something being zoomed in on). What happened next was some sort of epileptic light show (like when you die in Zelda II) and then I woke up.

I would like to point out that this was a very long time ago (from the 90's, in that area), so I doubt CutmanMike had invented Sjas yet back then. :ugeek: The "red screaming creature thing" looked more like a NES sprite, to be honest.

Something interesting that happened the day after Toad Day is that people started arguing about how effortless it is to kill someone with Toad Man's class.

It is true, that Toad Man has crazy mobility and an attack that has a pretty far range and destructive damage. I got like 10+ frags while spamming it in a general area on the server.

Other people started doing it... and well, chaos ensued.
I wish I got screenshots of it, though.

Was this on the rebalanced saxton hale server? If so then I'm pretty sure I was the one in the middle of the mosh (or should I say marsh) pit.

Being a legitimate Hardman user, anyone using Toadman is welcome on any tower I make.
Defense and the threat of a 20-ton fatass waiting to fall on top of and rape you is the best offense... and rain. Lots and lots of rain. :D

Being a main contributor to Toad Day (and the likely odds are I'll never be able to enjoy it again), I want to see it.

Or actually, let's go one step further.

I wanna see a video where everyone is in a Death Match or LMS server and every single player is ToadMan.

I have an idea. lets make a Toad Day wad that remove all skins except Toad Man, and replaces weapons with toad related ones (vanilla or modded.)
And let's let CMM get in on the fun by changing every bodies profile picture to toad man and their location to "Toad Day"

It was a bunch of people, really. The bandwagon just escalated to the point it lasted the whole August 21.

The servers'll be a swell idea, geminibro.

Classes TLMS could be nice, too.

One flag Classes CTF-- Toad Man team (whichever team decides to all choose the Toad Man class) vs. Snake Man team (please refer to the prev. statement enclosed in parentheses but with Snake Man class instead).
