Presenting the
MM8BDM Legacy Map Pack


Well, it's about time someone stepped up to do this. Relive the old maps before they were replaced. The Robot Master maps are arranged in alphabetical order, with the Wily Stages placed at the end, just like the core maps. Note that this only covers maps that were replaced entirely (Gemini Man's map is almost entirely different with little untouched so I'm counting it as a replaced map).

Downloads will be coming soon. While Ivory said we could make such a pack, I still need to make sure if this is alright with CutmanMike and anyone else.

Pre-V3A Yamato
Pre-V3B Charge
Pre-V3B Magnet

V2 Cloud Man doesn't even need to be brought back for this. The rest of the maps would be fun to play on again for novelty, but Cloud Man can just be forgotten entirely.

Anyways, don't forget the old Gemini Man. That was also changed in v3b.

I'd like to see some of the older CTF maps get put in to. But, as usual, this isn't going to be relevant until someone else mentions it.

It's a map that got replaced though, so it counts. That it played terrible (and it did) is irrelevant. I think it's good to include all of the replaced maps so that players that began to play as of v3a can look at them if curiosity arises. Or in any case, to look back at what they used to be for shits and giggles.

Maybe there should be two map packs: One with just the fan favorites, and one with every single version of every map up 'til now.

I'm good either way, really.  I just hope pre-v3b Waveman is included in either pack.  Nothing was quite as fun as playing around on that stage with the theme from T&C Surf Designs playing in the background.  Ha hah!
