Title: Smashmuck Champions
Post by: Ceridran on August 30, 2013, 11:34:01 PM
SMASHING? (https://www.smashmuck.com/)

.. Egh, how did I even take a liking to this? I'm pretty sure the developer left it to die.
Wasn't good as I initially tried to make it sound like.

Smashmuck Champions is a Free To Play PVP MOBA in beta. Skillshot basic attacks and three special moves. What a poor description I'm giving you. It's out on Steam.

Pay To Win

I hope that wasn't directed towards League, because that's not what it is.

I'll check it out later.

It was directed torwards P2W games like Microvolts. LoL is not a P2W game. I'm not trying to say LoL is bad for being point+click, either.

Sure, while you can "buy weapons" with the ingame currency, the stock weapons still have their spot. I'l mark this game as 1/4 P2W at least, because the stock weapons don't have very good level scaling.

You're mostly unlikely to find a full match with real players, so you're most likely playing with bots until we have enough Cutstuff members to play in a private lobby.

Expect people to, well, exist once this gets out of beta.

Wow. Those character designs look... kinda dumb. Nothing specific about them that I can point out as bad, but they just look derpy to me. Also, this looks like a grunge version of Super Monday Night Combat, go play that.

I hate a majority of the characters.

Super Monday Night Combat is another one of those games that my video card CANNOT handle.

Smashmuck Champions was opened for early access on Steam.

Have at it, I guess.
