hey so I found out this was a thing

Project Phoenix is a Japanese indie, squad-based, real-time strategy, RPG thing game to be released on Windows, Mac and Linux (http://www.cutstuff.net/forum/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=2219) via Steam and the team's website (http://www.projectphoenix.info/).

By now it's gone beyond it's $100,000 goal, to $684,841.
