Title: suggestion: PAL version of the music as a selection
Post by: andreasaspenberg on November 12, 2013, 08:39:48 PM
what i am suggesting is that player can choose wether to use the versions of the music in the european or in the american versions of the games. since music can be run separately on each computer it could work well.

I'm going to be saying no to this since I rather not greatly increase MM8BDM's filesize just for slower versions of the same music tracks.

what about using a script instead like the emulators do.

Or the better suggestion is that you can make your own custom music pack that has the slower versions of the soundtrack. This is hardly something the core game needs.

I think he means a style of NSF used by certain NES games?
Either way, it wouldn't work here; this is Doom, not a scratch game.
