Title: I Have Some Ideas! :O

Was brainstorming some game mode ideas. Here's what I got:

Capture the Doctor: This is actually CTF but with a twist. Instead of grabbing a flag, you either grab Dr. Wily or Dr. Light and bring him back yo your teleporter. Team (that being Team Wily and Team Light) with the most captures wins.

Note: The Doctors are carried on the player's backs and cause the player to move slower than normal.

Last Man Standing Boss Mode: Same rules apply for LMS with one minor exception. Instead of being given a random weapon, you're locked with your character's respective weapon and the buster cannon.

Note: Characters that don't have their own special weapon are stuck with a upgraded buster cannon.

30 Second Frenzy: Essentially "Last Man Standing" without the "Last Man". Players have 30 seconds to kill as many players as possible, while trying to stay alive. Once the 30 seconds is up, the map changes and the surviving players receive a point. The player(s) with the most points by the time the game ends wins.

Bounty Hunter: A player is selected at random to be the bounty and must survive for 20 seconds. If the bounty survives then they receive a point. Meanwhile, the rest of the players msut try and kill the bounty within that time limit. The player that kills the bounty gets a point. Player with the most points wins.

Deathmatch Boss Mode: Players are locked with their character's respective weapon and the buster cannon. Player with the most kills wins.

Note: Characters that don't have their own special weapon are stuck with a upgraded buster cannon. There are also no weapon pickups.

EDIT: This one just came to mind. When a character respawns, they beam down as they respawn.

OMG! That can be done SO EASILY!

Change the player starts zheight to something silly like 2000 and you'll get that effect.

I'm still in favor of:

Steal the Mettaur/Hard Hat.  All players look around for a Met/HH, and they pick it up (it is shown being held in their hands, and thus they cannot attack), and then a timer counts up.  If it gets to XXX(set amount of time) then that person wins.

Yeah, any idea involving bosses getting their own weapons leads to balancing issues.

Perhaps, in Boss Mode, though this would require more coding, the bosses get EVERYTHING they used in the games they appeared in? Knightman wouldn't be able to be hurt from the front because of his shield, Flash Man would get his sweet rapid fire shotgun, Woodman would be hax. Things like that.

That would require specialized coded weapons and classes(as opposed to skins). That could push MM8BDM's release date for a few months. Not to mention all the balancing work that would need to go in. Also issues like MM7,8 and Bass games are all more complex. Thus those robot masters would have more tools at their disposal. Then you have Robot Masters like most of the MM1 bosses who pretty much just do one thing.

Hmmm...

Melee Mode

Start out with Charge Kick, Top Spin can be picked up by getting to a hard to find spot on the map (random location).

So great. Sooo great...

Sounds better than what I suggested but the balancing would be a bitch for that I'd imagine. Save it for an expansion?

I didn't think of that.

I was just thinking that Needle Man shoots powerful shots at long range which would make him a perfect sniper
