Title: Mega Man Classic Weapon Fusions

I had a recent gander into the dark allies of deviantART and somehow ended up with Kirby 64 vibes as I browsed. Kirby 64 allowed you to copy two individual powers at one time to make a new power that you could use to your heart's leisure.

So I was thinking, how would the Mega Man series do this? You kill one Robot Master to get his/her weapon, then kill another to get their weapon as well; combine both the powers into something new; usually much more powerful.

I'd prefer to have one set of Weapon Fusions per set of Robot Masters (MM1, MM2, MM3, etc.), just so we're not going all overboard with the entire series.

Or Search Knuckle? Heh, that'd be a giant fist that rips along the ground and climbs things. That sounds hilarious and awesome.

Anyone can slam two weapons together and say "they're called this now."  It's another thing entirely to assign them a unique ability that makes them truly noteworthy—and I think the latter is the part that's actually fun.

Star Crash + Astro Crush:  Cosmic Crash.  The wielder summons a shield of asteroids around them.  Each asteroid can be individually destroyed, somewhat like Water Shield, but each asteroid around the wielder increases the frequency of meteorites falling around them.

Another game that utilized this kind of mechanic is gunstar heroes on the genesis. You have 2 weapon slots and can toggle between using each weapon individually or using both of them to make a combo weapon. There's only a few weapons in that game though. Honestly with a bit of clever modding you could do this in MM8BDM but there's so many damn weapons you'd run out of ideas eventually.

Time Stopper + Skull Barrier = Hopelessly Broken
Flame Sword + Water Balloon = Really Useless
Atomic Fire + Laser Trident = Insanely Overpowered

Heh, jokes aside...

Flash + Skull
FREEZE BARRIER. A shield weapon that would stop anything it touches in it's tracks for a while. The one catch: Mega Man can not move when he wants it to activate.

Sword + Aqua
NOT-QUITE-BURNING ARM. Mega Man sets his arm on fire, douses it with water, then waves it at his enemies' faces. The smell of wet, burning robot parts makes them die instantly

Heat + Splash
FLAMING TRIDENT. Would shoot a trident made of fire, at any enemies. It can be charged, and will get bigger and faster the more it is charged. It could break through both ice walls (fire), or steel & reinforced materials (trident).

Actually, I think that second one is still a joke, and the 3rd one is the only serious one here.

Metal Blade + Wheel Cutter
Metal Slicer  
Hold down fire button at any direction for a metal blade like projectile to appear in the direction you choose, and releasing it will send it flying to the chosen direction . Two can be fired at once, and it will also allow you to scale walls and the ceiling.

Leaf Shield + Flame Blast
Burnt Shield
Works exactly like Leaf Shield instead it is on fire.

Electric Shock + Flame Sword
Thunder Sword
Works exactly like flame sword except it is electrical.

Charge Kick + Hard Knuckle
Charge Knuckle
Instead of sliding, you will fist dash.

Magma Bazooka + Rain Flush
Magma Pour
Balls of fire rain from the sky.

Atomic Fire + Flame Blast
Atomic Bits
Mega Man will shoot out three projectiles of fire that will land on the ground and sprout like Flame Blast. Works kind of like Heat Man.

Spark Shock + Concrete Shot
Dark Stun
Work's like Darkman 3's stun rings.

Super Arm + Deep Digger
Guts Dig
Will dig underground, will be able to move from underground and do an uppercut when rising from underground. The attack will not work on floating platforms or extremely thin ground.

Super Arm + Mega Ball
Mega Throw
Mega Man will be able to shoot out a Mega Ball, grab it, and throw it at an arch at enemies.

Super Arm + Hard Knuckle
Super Punch
Mega Man will be able to melee enemies with punches.

Break Dash + Atomic Fire
Heat Dash
Mega Man will flame dash forward.

Hyper Bomb + Super Arm
Secret Bomb
Mega Man will lift a bomb from underground, carry it around, and throw it at enemies.

Time Slow (or Time Stopper) + Flash Stopper
Stop Rewind
Will be able to rewind time when holding the fire button. Health may return to Mega Man or bosses, and destroyed enemies may return as well. Stop Rewind won't will not work if you fell into a pit or if you already lost all your health.

Super Adaptor + Tango
Super Tango Adaptor
Instead of Rush, Tango will merge with Mega Man and Mega Man will be able to melee enemies using multiple mini slash claws.

You make massive balls of flames hurl down from the sky, they rip with a crap-ton of damage and can melt any ice objects/floors (make sure you're not standing on an ice floor over spikes)

Top Spin + Chargekick = TOPCHARGE

Think of it as a fast forward dash that does lots of damage. And you are spinning while doing so.

Dust Crusher + Super Arm = Junk Lifter: Mega Man picks up the trash blocks in Spark Man's stage which break like the Dust Crusher with bigger debris, or he can reach underground in places like Dust Man, Junk Man, or Grenade Man to dig up a throwable Dust Crusher.

Dust Crusher + Rolling Cutter = Trash Compacter: A melee weapon with a spinning Rolling Cutter, which cuts enemies into a Dust Crusher that you can hold on the buster like the Wheel Cutter.

Mirror Buster + Solar Flare = Solar Collector: Mega Man holds a solar panel to the sky and charges solar energy to shoot at his enemies.

Dust Crusher + Hyper Bomb = Shrapnel Bomb
A bomb that explodes and scatters piercing bits of metal in all directions.

Jewel Satellite + Crystal Eye = Crystal Avalanche
A barrier of gems that can be thrown. It shatters and the gem components will fall and damage anything they hit.

Magic Card + Rain Flush = Royal Flush
A deck of cards, which is shot skyward. It will then fall in two waves of ripping projectiles. Any items grabbed are given to its user.

Oil Slider + Hornet Chaser = Honey Bee
A large bee projectile, which does immense damage and rips. It also covers anything it hits with honey, which acts as an adhesive.

Black Hole + Black Hole Bomb
Big Bang
When Mega Man fires, a Black Hole instantly appears and sucks in even the largest of enemies at close range, and then, it explodes, wiping out or damaging all enemies within the whole screen.

Thunder Bolt + Wild Coil
Magnetic Coil
Works like Wild Coil, except when you charge it, an electric shield will surround you and it will attract enemies closer to you.

Hard Knuckle + Super Arrow
Super Knuckle
A huge hard knuckle appears that works like Super Arrow and allows you to stand on it.

Beat + Hyper Bomb
Beat Bomb
When Beat locks on to an enemy, it will explode upon contact and return to you.

A icy paralyzing shot that splits when it hits things can also freeze the lava in junkman's stage

Ice slasher + Slash claw = Ice Claw
its just a icy version of slash claw that can freeze things

Megabuster + any ice weapon = Ice Buster
A icy version of the megabuster that can freeze things when a fully charged shot is fired

Megabuster + Any bomb weapon = explode buster
A poweful megabuster with exploding shots that takes much longer to fully charge

Bass Buster + Rain Flush = Flush Buster
It rapidly shoots the same liquid Rain Flush makes fall from the sky in a straight line.

Rain Flush + Astro Crush = Astro Flush
Both rain and comets (or whatever they are) fall down at the same time, chances of surviving are slim. Take 2x more ammo than the either weapon would normally take.

Drill Bomb + Super Arm = Super Drill
You launch a giant drill, it's so massive that it puts strain on your body and causes recoil. However, it's huge and does massive damage which makes the recoil worth it, unless you're below 30 HP.

Bass Buster + Mega Buster (with charge) = (insert clever name here, I don't have imagination for this name)
You charge it to the desired power, then rapidly shoot 7 shots, but you're vulnerable and can't move while you're rapidly shooting. Can be a destructive force if used correctly.

Flame Sword + Slash Claw = Flaming Claw
Slash at your opponent as you would usually do with Slash Claw, but it summons some small flames that have a chance of burning your opponent. And when I say burn, I mean the kind of burn you would get in a Pokémon battle.

Mega Buster + Bass Buster (Bassnium disabled) = Super Plasma Blaster
Charging and multi-direction aiming are disabled, but shots deal one and a half damage instead of half or one damage, can shoot in rapid succession (manually, not automatically) and have up to 4 shots on screen.

Proto Buster + Bass Buster (Bassnium disabled) = Super Plasma Cannon
Literally functions like Mega Man X4's Fourth Armor secondary buster upgrade. Multi-direction aiming is disabled, and normal shots deal half damage, but charging causes to storage up to 3 charge shots that deal two damage each. These charged shots cause a temporary invulnerability period on all enemies when hit by them.

Mega Buster/Proto Buster + Bass Buster (Bassnium enabled) = Super Plasma Buster
Shoots solar-purified Bassnium shots that deal one and a half damage. Can be charged two levels for a two damage shot and a four damage shot. All shots go through walls, but only two shots can be on screen, walking is disabled when firing, and the fully charged shot produces recoil. Normal shots look deceptively elongated for some reason...

Mega Buster + Proto Buster = Super Power Buster
Normal uncharged shots are now disabled, but a new level of energy charge is now available, which takes double the time the Mega Buster or the Proto Buster take to fully charge, with a superslow and wide shot that deals a whooping five damage. The middle level (normal busters' charge time) shoots a normal speed bullet that deals two and a half damage. Shots go through walls, but the dissipate very quickly, so they travel only half a screen.

Flame Sword + Magma Bazooka
Magma Cut

A sword that can shoot out normal Magma Bazooka shots. When charged, the sword can extend farther when swung leaving behind a flame trail.

Tornado Blow + Top Spin
Tornado Spin

Works like Kirby's tornado ability.

Crash Bomb + Dive Missile
Crash Missile

A missile that can lock on and attach to enemies and explode like Crash Bomb.

Triple Blade + Break Dash
Blade Dash

An uncharged dash can slash through smaller shieldless enemies kind of like a dashing Tengu Blade. A charged dash can dash through shielded and large enemies, and when the dash collides with an enemy, Mega Man immediately slashes the enemy three times.

Kind of like the original Fire Storm, but the fire shield around Mega Man will stay until you throw it or an enemy hits it.

This is actually pretty crazy, because I created a generator for this very thing several years back during the research and development phase of my Mega Man RPG (http://cutstuff.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=6288)!  :D

I wrote a quick script - an ability generator really - that crossed all the special weapons from the classic series (or variations of) with each other to create a whole buttload of unique abilities.  It's not formatted very pretty and needs a lot of work, but this absolutely reminded me of the generator and thought it might be fun to link it.  :P

The basic idea was that each robot master could learn new permutations of their ability by defeating other robot masters and absorbing their data (the game takes places in the digital world, FYI).  Cut Man would defeat Ice Man to get the "Ice Cutter", Fire Man for the "Fire Cutter", etc.  To be fair, I never ended up using this exact system in the game.  The idea of manually creating and animating THAT MANY abilities was clearly lunacy and not possible for a fangame, but I do often go back to it from inspiration anyway.  Some of these sound pretty cool and could be worked into the game even without the originally intended mechanic.  

Anyway, thought it might be fun for everyone to see the idea fully fleshed out and realized.  :)

Darn Adrian. That list of fusion weapons was a good read. I thought up a possible Metal + Crash fusionwep, you throw it against a wall/player and boom, it shoots out Metal Blades in eight different directions!

I'll have to write up a full MM2 fusion wep chart one of these days.

How about this combination:

Commando Bomb + Homing Sniper = Homing Bazooka
Basically shoots up to five bulky missiles that explode on contact, but travels through the air slowly.

fun with lightning/wind types... because why not?

Elec + Cloud = Chain Lightning
Fires three bolts that split into three more on contact with an enemy or surface.

Wind + Sheep = Arc Runner
Cloud moves rapidly along the ground firing a constant electrical discharge upward as it goes.

Spark + Tengu (&B) = Shock Gauntlet
Melee attack that stuns anything it doesn't kill in one hit.  If used while dashing causes enemies to be hurled in the direction of the dash, causing damage and stun to any other targets it touches and major damage if it hits a wall.

Top + Tengu(8) = Vortex Shield
Sphere of winds surrounds you, damaging anything it touches and allowing you to move freely (mm3 rush jet style) as long as attack is held.

Tornado + Dynamo = Storm Warning
Causes constant damage to everything on the screen in a sustained attack that moves with you like time stopper until energy is depleted.

Air + Plug = Static Discharge
Fires balls of lightning in a forward spread shot that follow surfaces they touch

Clown + Jupiter = Live Wire
electrified whip that allows grappling and on contact with an enemy can be held down to deal continuous minor damage, ignoring both shields and hitstun.

Wind + Plug = Static Cyclone
- Shoot forward a ripping cyclone projectile charged with electricity. The projectile elevates if it hits a wall and continues on, but doesn't climb down walls.

That comic strip looks so intense, btw.

Lightning Bolt + Thunder Wool = Wool Blitz
Four or five Thunder Wool clouds formulate, and each simultaneously drop a powerful bolt of lightning three times before dissipating. Finishes small enemies, severely damages larger ones.

Concrete Shot + Water Shield = Cement Mixer
A shield that can turn enemies into Concrete Shot platforms if thrown while wet. Dries over time. If thrown while dry, it simply damages enemies it hits.

Power Stone + Magma Bazooka = Volcanic Eruption
Fires three pulsating volcanic stones in a fashion similar to Air Shooter. Affected by gravity. Leaves ripping blobs of magma where they land and shatter.

Leaf Shield + Tornado Blow = Leaf Blower
Fires leaves in a flamethrower-esque spread fashion, very similar to the weapon of the same name in Terraria.

Actually that could be made into a useful attack, similar to my Fire Storm + Ice Slasher. You'd fire standard Fire Storm shots while you're being protected (and gradually healed) by a giant water bubble which also deals contact damage to anyone that touches it.

This is an idea I had for a CSCC but it's pretty much the fusion of two weapons anyways:

Scorch Wheel + Flame Sword = Inferno Whip

Whips forward a string of blazing fire in a slashing motion, deals massive damage up close as smaller balls of fire spread out from it.

It does the exact same thing as Torch Arm by itself. Or the exact same thing as Oil Stream by itself.
It doesn't matter, because they are both exactly the same as it is.

Blizzard + Turbo = Blizzard Wheel: Works the same like the Scorch Wheel, just with a cold attack instead of a hot attack.

Flame + Charge = Flame Kick: Gives you a extra speed kick with a hot attack.

Metal + Slash = Upgraded Metal Blade: This weapon can be charged to throw more metal blades. If it's not charged, it can be used as melee.

Time + Bright = Flash Slower: Slows down the enemies while blinded.

Yoku + Astro = Fake Vision: No, it does not work like the same as the normal copy vision... When you spawn it, you fake suicide and the vision explodes.

Instead of meteors falling from the sky, meteor sized rocks will detach from the ground and fly towards the sky.

Knuckle Missile
Literally a Hard Knuckle working like dive missile.

Hard Knuckle + Homing Sniper
Homing Multi Knuckle
When uncharged, a flying fist, with the speed of Homing Sniper and power of Hard Knuckle, will home in on an enemy. When charged, multiple enemies will be targeted and multiple fists will home in on every enemy that was targeted.

Doppler Attack + Rebound Striker

Splits yourself into 4 mini flying versions that bounces all over the walls destroying all enemies in their paths, with the attack getting more powerful with each bounce. After loads of bounces the 4 minis return the original position and reform the character.

I don't know what to call it. Dopple Bouncer will do for now.

In this one MM3 hack Gemini's Weapon was Gemini Laser but faster and instead of the sprite being a laser, it's physical copies of Mega Man bouncing around the room.

I'm bringing that up because "Dopple Bouncer" has somewhat of a similar gimmick as this weapon.

Water Balloon + Flame Sword = Water Sword
A Melee attack which lobs a spread of water balls to damage the enemy.

Water Wave + Flame Sword = Wave Sword
A Melee attack which sends forth a ground crawling tidal wave.

Leaf Shield + Plant Barrier = Nature Guardian
A Shield of Plants surrounds Mega Man. If a projectile hits the shield it counters by firing the plants as projectiles towards the attacker.

Rolling Cutter + Tengu Blade = Wind Shears
Throws a slow moving Wind Cutter which bounces off of walls. Multi-directional.

Junk Shield + Homing Sniper = Sniper Option
Creates a shield of scrap bots with a simple targetting AI. Automatically launches scrap metal shards at nearby enemies.

Super Arm + Power Stone = God Hand
Hold the attack button to summon a giant Stone Hand in front of Mega Man. This can be used as a platform or as a shield. Release the attack button to launch it forwards as a fist. Holding 'UP' while releasing the attack will make the fist launch upwards for an uppercut.

Spark Shock + Spark Chaser = Static Hunter
Sends forth a paralyzing spark that jumps between enemies. If a shocked enemy is touched by a different enemy, then that other enemy becomes stunned as well.

Uses two arms to utilize Slash Claw for a flurry of attacks.

Mega Arm + Magic Card = Sleight of Hand
A Mega Arm upgrades which saps health from an enemy.

Sends out a pair of boiling hot scissor heads that half home in on an enemy. Upon hitting them, the two cutter pieces violently ricochet off the enemy in random directions.

Super Arm + Spread Drill = Titan Drill

Megaman grabs a huge drill. Pressing the attack button again will make him chuck it forward. The drill breaks into smaller drills when colliding with surfaces.

Centaur Flash + Copy Vision = Derange Vision

Creates a flash on the screen that causes all enemies to get confused and think that Megaman is who they should support. The enemies will all follow him around and attack enemies that were not caught in the flash.

If the enemy goes out of the less spooky close range they will be spooked spooky as the snake spookily dashes straight through them in an spooky ethereal form just like the spooky sphere it was spookily summoned with, slowing spooking the already spooked enemy in the spooky process.

Snake Man unloads several Search Snakes which latch onto Guts Man before he digs underground. After about a second, Guts Man pops up from the ground (with no Snakelets) directly underneath Snake Man, launching the two into the air. Snake Man kicks Guts Man back to the ground, who causes a stunning quake with his girth. The impact also causes a Guts Block to pop out of the ground in front of Guts Man; punching it before it lands sends the block flying at an enemy for heavy damage, although it frees that enemy from stun. On impact, the Guts Block breaks apart and reveals several Snakelets, which Snake Man can direct to dive at the enemy with a well-timed button press. The Snakelet swarm deals decent secondary damage and has a chance of poisoning the target.

Are we allowed to do fan game weapons? If so, I'll use ones from a fan game everyone knows.

Freeze + Jet = Freeze Missile: Has Jet Missile's targeting system, and each missile splits into smaller ice chunks. That could be broken if implemented right.

Magnet + Metal = Magnet Saw: Metal Blade's 8 directions plus Magnet Missile's homing capabilities. That could lead to some broken weaponry.

Jewel + Nail = Shining Point: Just combine Jewel's durability with Nail Shield's offensive capability. Can I get a "broken?"

Aqua + Pump = Water Guard: While it would be a Water Shield clone with Water Balloon-sized projectiles, I'm nerfing it by giving Mega Man only 4 balloons, but each can take two hits as opposed to one.

Wow, I just love making weapons hilariously broken, right? Onto a less good one...

Aqua + Sheep = Water Wool: Fires a shorter ranged Water Balloon that results in a lighting bolt coming down wherever the water hits. Actually, that doesn't sound half bad.

I know, I know, this is just a little game, but as Kirby 64's combinations changed up the abilities a lot, we should try our best to be more creative.

Why doesn't anyone make a wad for this? Yea, there are a lot of weapeons but just start with the 8 from powered up and just work your way up. Each version is each game. You can not tell me people would not be willing to make or use that wad, because if people seem to like stuff like the uki's wep and wads like that, they will like the fusion wad. (Only fusion between 2 weps though, anything more than that is OP)

Speaking of that i was already ahead of the fusion weapons idea and i was making a prototype fusion weapon called ThunderCracker (T.Bolt + Freeze cracker) but i lost interest... but i could always make a class that uses existing core weapons and fuses them into new weapons for a short time well it wouldn't use the weapons themselves  but use each core weapon as material for making new weapons much like minecraft or Terraria does.

You can not tell me people would not be willing to make or use that wad, because if people seem to like stuff like the uki's wep and wads like that, they will like the fusion wad. I do think that would be a really cool idea for a mod, actually! I'm not sure how it would work without just making brand new weapons to pick up entirely.

I also thought about how it would work in a real Mega Man game, and I even considered doing it for a project I'm working on. You'd just press B instead of A on the first weapon, B again to cancel, and A again on the other weapon you want to combine it with.

I also had a dream about something like this before I found out about this thread.

Rain Flush + Lightning Bolt = Storm Chaos

When thrown into the air, a mixture of acid rain and lightning bolts come down from the sky, like both of these weapons, but has a greater radius and you can move while it's activating. However, it takes longer to strike.

Spark Chaser + Homing Sniper = Homing Spark

Combining the charging attribute of Homing Sniper and the chasing attribute of Spark Chaser,this weapon can destroy enemies with shields(including certain types of Mettaurs).
Fires one projectile which looks like the laser buster upgrade,but can track enemies,but charged,will fire five of the same projectile.
Certainly a very powerful weapon,but uses a large amount of weapon energy.

With how the games work, I'd prefer more to just stick with only combining weapons that originated from the same game for the sake of making it not complicated. If it goes well we could work with cross-game weapon fusions that would be provided with a separate add-on Wad that's added to the main fusion WAD.

Without PU's Time Slow and Oil Slider, the MM1 Fusion Weapons would add 15 weapons. Otherwise any other MM title with a full 8 Robot Masters would add 28.

Therefore if we did fusions with this method across all 12 core games (the ten numbered installments plus PU, &Bass, and V, we'd have 336 possible weapon combinations.

The borders of the weapons could be recolored to show which game a certain weapon comes from, meaning you could only combine weapons in the same "color group".

MM1+PU: Blue
MM2: Red
MM3: Orange
MM4: Grey
MM5: Green
MM6: Violet
MM7: Cyan
MM8: Pink
&Bass: Yellow
MM9: Lime
MM10: Dark Red

I have an idea for MMV!

Grab Buster + Bubble Bomb = Grabbing Bubble. It floats like the Bubble Bomb, but steals health.
Bubble Bomb + Spark Chaser = Bubble Chaser. It fires a projectile that can only attack targets higher than the player.
Spark Chaser + Photon Missile = Chasing Missile. It fires a homing missile.
Photon Missile + Electric Shock = Photon Shock. It fires a barrage of short-ranged small missiles.
Electric Shock + Black Hole = Electric Hole. It sucks everything in and then "chainsaws" the targets.
Black Hole + Deep Digger = Deep Hole. It fires a slow projectile that splits into 4 Black Holes.
Deep Digger + Salt Water = Deep Water. It fires "blocks" of water that split into 6 parts in a snowflake-like direction.
Salt Water + Break Dash = Break Water. It charges then when it  releases, 4 Salt Water Projectiles come out of your hand and punch.
Break Dash + Grab Buster = Grabbing Dash. It basically steals health when you punch.

Dive Missile + Astro Crush + Time Stopper = The Fuck You Buster

It shoots a homing missile at you that stuns you for an extremely long amount of time, then spawns a storm  of meteors that are much stronger than normal Astro Crush, because each of them OHKO's.

Quick Boomerang + Homing Sniper = Speed Chaser

Shoots a bunch of insanely fast bullets that home in on an enemy and uses up next to no juice, but it deals very low damage.

Power Stone + Astro Crush + Flame Sword = Spacial Flame Storm

You make flaming comets spin around you, which soon explode into bursts of Astro Storm bits that cause huge explosions when hitting the ground.


Also, I feel that someone should make a wad with all these weapons.

Junk Shield + Leaf Shield + Skull Barrier + Jewel Satellite + Scorch Wheel + Plant Barrier + Star Crash + Mirror Buster = Infinity Barrier

It has the 8BDM effects of all the barriers (more armor, more speed, invincibility and reflection, hugging damage and healing) but, like the pre-V4 Skull Barrier, it consumes all weapon energy in one shot, and, like the Time Stopper, can't be refilled. Shield time is approximately 10-15 seconds.

Metal Blade + Rebound Striker = Rubber Saw

Throws a Metal Blade like normal, only instead of heading in one direction forever, it can bounce off of walls and has gravity. Like Screw Crusher, but can be thrown in different directions for different amounts of momentum.

I actually think about this stuff a lot of the time. So, presenting the MM3 fusions, in the context of the original mm3.

Magnet+Hard = Magnet Knuckle. Hits like hard knuckle, but you can direct it anywhere on the screen with the control pad
Magnet + Top = Magnet Spin. Spin in mid air and small enemies will be drawn toward you and crushed.
Magnet + Shadow = Homing Blade. Acts like shadow blade, but flies in a straight line at enemies instead of boomeranging back.
Magnet + Spark = Magnetic Shock. Acts like spark shock. When one enemy is shocked, nearby foes and bullets are pulled toward it and paralyzed too.
Magnet + Snake = Leaping Cobra. Acts like Search Snake. When the snakes line up with an enemy vertically or horizontally, they jump and fly into it.
Magnet + Gemini = Rebound Missile. Acts like Magnet Missile, but the magnets bounce of enemies while still doing damage, and can turn and hit another enemy again after doing so.
Magnet + Needle = Magnetic Barrage. Rapid fire missiles that turn like Magnet Missile. What more could you want?

Hard + Top = Windup Punch.  A melee attack used on the ground. Does as much damage as a hard knuckle, but can be charged for even more damage. Enemies hit fly backwards, and can damage others
Hard + Shadow = Heavy Blade. Fire a black shuriken in 8 directions that is affected by gravity. Has recoil, and can be used to gain momentum in any direction.
Hard + Spark = Shock Punch. Fires a Hard knuckle that paralyzes any enemy that it hits and pushes them backwards into walls.
Hard + Snake = Serpent Glove. A Hard Knuckle that drops search snakes traveling in the direction of the fist.
Hard + Gemini = Ricochet Fist. Hurls a Hard Knuckle that reverse course when it hits a wall. Can still be directed up or down, and gains power with more bounces like rebound striker.
Hard + Needle = Needle Flak. Low fire rate. Shoots bursts of needles forward shotgun-style. Still has recoil.

Top + Shadow =  Shadow Strike. When spinning, a shadow blade is thrown in the direction of any enemies in its range.
Top + Spark = Shock Wave. A circular wave of electricity is emitted every time you spin, paralyzing any enemies, which can then be dispatched with the spin itself.
Top + Snake = Snake Dash. Used on the ground. Launch forward, break-dash style, traveling up wall and ceilings as long as the dash lasts.
Top + Gemini = Soul Spinner. Spinning in mid air launches a slow spinning clone projection that bounces off walls for a short time, shredding any enemies.
Top + Needle = Needle Spiral. When spinning, weak needle projectiles are launched around you in every direction.

Shadow + Spark = Paralyzing Blade. A Shadow Blade that paralyzes. Yes, it does damage, so go wild!
Shadow + Snake = Ground Fang. A Shadow Blade that travels along any surface when it hits it, and returns to you as best as it can along the ground after a while. Think Yo-Yo cutter from MMU.
Shadow + Gemini = Bounce Blade. A Shadow Blade that can be aimed in 7 directions that bounces off walls. Has a longer range than the original Blades, and continues bouncing if there are any walls in the way of its return trip.
Shadow + Needle = Shard Barrage. Rapid fire Shadow Blades in any direction! Slight spread and longer range than the originals.

Spark + Snake = Shock Bite. Search Snakes that paralyze and do damage. Go nuts with these too.
Spark + Gemini = Multi Spark. Enemies paralyzed by this bouncing spark shock will emit more bouncing sparks at random angles. Does slight damage.
Spark + Needle = Spark Cannon. Rapid fire needles straight forward with paralysis. Enough said.

Snake + Gemini = Soul Snake. Fires a gemini laser that generates glowing snake outlines that travel along walls whenever it hits a surface.
Snake + Needle = Snake Stream. Rapid-fire Search Snakes forward at various angles.

Gemini + Needle = Scrambler Laser. Rapid fire Gemini Laser. Slight variations in firing angle creates bouncing laser chaos!

I actually had a few ideas regarding MM3 fusions, but with this full set I'm willing to use these for the Orange weapon group, since it seems like they would work.

Yeah the idea is to make some of these weapons easy to deal damage and get kills with, since that's the law I always went by when I designed my own weapons. The cost is that the hybrid powers would drain weapon energy from both bars, so if you used Leaping Cobra but then decided to go back to Search Snake or Magnet Missile, you'd have less ammo for the two weapons on their own, or vice versa. If one bar is empty, the fusion weapon cannot be activated. Weapon pellet/capsule pickups will replenish ammo for both active weapons.
