Title: [Gamemode] Mafia Mode-V1B! [Shadow Man Update]

Welcome to the new Mafia Mode topic! So i know i kind of left Assassin Mode, or MegaManMafia hanging for more then a while, but hey i'm back and with a new version! I decided to make a new topic and start Mafia Mode fresh because the other topic is cluttered with other topics, and i feel like this can be Mafia Mode's fresh new start! I won't always be able to dedicate time to Mafia Mode, but ill try to keep up regular updates.

For the uninitiated: An assassin is running loose killing innocent bots! In this mod, You and your friends must find and kill the assassin, before he murders everyone! *scream!*

I started a server with Best Ever Servers so if you want to play, why don't you head to probably the only Mafia server right now!

You should really make it so whoever's assassin doesn't...

A. Revert to Mega Man's skin
B. Pause while running to be given the assassin weapons.
C. Have the same sound when getting hit regardless of his/her set skin.

I just tested A out and everything is at it should be (Everyone is sniper joe), so if you can further explain that would be great unless you are talking about Megamanmafia-v4b which is the older version. I'll see what i can do for B, and can you please explain C in greater detail?

Ah, I see you got the thread up and I'm a bit late to posting here. Thanks for crediting me after those pointers I gave you. I still feel like the Assassin can be a bit overwhelmed by other players at times, so you might want to consider slightly buffing his HP. (Oh, I just saw that you went the exact opposite of what I said, better focus on being stealthy then) Also, for when players kill innocents, they should have a symbol hovering above their head that show that they killed an innocent instead of getting hurt. That way everyone will see them and say "Hey, we should avenge the poor fellow he killed", WDI already did something like this and is where I got the idea from. Also, it can sometimes be hard to be stealthy on some stages, we might want to come up with a way that could improve the assassin's chances of escaping into the shadows or a hiding place. It would probably be easier for him/her to escape if it was darker, I told you about how we could do this over Skype instant messages, but we never got around to doing it. That's about it, if you want me to help out with something again, I'm usually free for anything.

When I was doing A a while back, I played as Hardman, and when I was chosen to be the assassin, I reverted to Mega Man. As for C, every skin has a different sound they make when they take damage, so while the assassin had Mega Man as it's skin, it had a different hurt sound.

About my it becomes darker idea. Perhaps later on we could make it a server variable we put in so that we can control if it's dark or not, or it could activate when the player count is equal to or more than a set number. I could probably make some scripts for this later on if you like this idea, Darkseed. After all, they can only get in if you accept the idea.

Those ideas sound really cool Alex! We can incorporate them and try it out. I'll try to see if i can change the sound that the skins make for the assassin.

I could say that this is the MM8BDM version of a Garry's Mod gamemode called Murder (even though I didn't play the mod yet, its just a thought)
