I'm quite partial to The Great Gatsby's soundtrack, but its such an obscure film that you can't find the soundtrack anywhere.

Also, Back to the Future had a good one.

As for more recent movies, I'm not that big a fan of orchestra/metal, which has been the mainstay for Movie soundtracks since the late 90s.

I like the Happy Feet soundtrack, Titanic. and many others.

My three favourite movie soundtracks have to be...

1. the TRON soundtrack by Wendy Carlos/London Philioharmonic Orchestra/Journey (1982)
2. the soundtrack to John Carpenters' Christine. (1983)
and last but not least.
3. Transformers: The Movie (1986, not those two live action ones.)
